Borde-du-Monde, Lucande: Since the bills passsage in 4618, the national government and private energy providers have
been working throughout the summer and fall for the past two years to begin Lourenne's green energy efforts. The bill
proposed by the NRP, called to make Lourenne at least 85% reliant on green energy after the original 100% proposal was
later rejected by the Royal Assembly. Vertonel, as of 8 months ago, began working on a new model of energy battery for
the wind turbines being designed by TLG Ecologie. Both designs and model prototypes were sent to testing in Vertonel's
testing plants in southern Joviant. After a successful series of interior examinations, the new turbines were approved for
construction by Vertone and the Royal Assembly. Since their final approval in late 4619, the turbines are in the process
of being set up throughout rurual areas in south, east, and coastal Lourenne. The energy created by the turbines are
connected through the nation's old energy grid and have direct access to major cities. An estimated 600 turbines are
expected to be built within the next year, with its focus being to send energy to suburban areas. Vertonel has stated that
the company has already begun work on a model for solar panels and hope to begin establish a solar energy presence in
large metropolitan areas soon.

Parmentier, Outannais:This morning the Royal ministry of Defense held a meeting at the Royal Cabinet
Building in Eroncourt to discuss the ongoing tensions between Kazulia and Dankuk that have sparked after
Dankuk withdrew from the Treaty of Asvald which effectively ended hostilities between the two countries
many years ago. Dankuk has quickly forced conscripted troops that have already begun to mass on the
Danuk-Kazulian border. Kazulia has responded with conscription and sanctions. The RMD this morning has
supported a motion to sanction the Dovani nation as well for their peace-ending action with Kazulia. The
RMD has proposed that any trade with Dankuk be discontinued for the next year or until tensions are over
between the two nations. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that ending trade and sanctioning Dankuk
would result in severed relations with Dankuk, however according to Foreign Affairs Minister Antoine Sainte
"holding peaceful relations with Dankuk would hurt our relationship with Kazulia who has been a close ally
for many decades. We will stand with Kazulia through peace and war." the Royal Assembly, through a cabinet
motion, approved for economic sanctions on Dankuk stating that all commercial and industrial trade with
the nation would effectively end. Along with imposing sanctions on Dankuk, the Royal Navy's 1st Response
Fleet will patrol the water of the northen anantonese Ocean and the Kankawaran Bay to enforce the
sanctions in the nation and to provide support for Lourennais and Kaulian trade. Lourenne will not involve
itself in any conflict, if it comes to happen between Kazulia and Dankuk in the future.

Parmentier, Outannais:The royal Ministry of Defense announced this morning that the Lourennais Royal
Armed Forces has completed its immense expansion and modernization that began way back in 4615.
All four fleets of the Lourennais Royal Navy were re-modernized and repaired following various routine
check-ups an performance exams by engineers and mechanics located in many of Parmentier's naval
docks. The 1st and 2nd Response fleet including 2 Queen Isabelle Class Carriers have been stationed in
the city of Valois and at the Royal Navy's main dock in Parmentier. Out of the surprise of many, the
Royal Ministry announced that Lourenne's naval bases in Rildanor and Kanjor would be re-opened for the
3rd and 4th Naval Response Fleets which also include 2 Queen Isabelle Class Carriers. The naval bases
in Rildanor and Kanjor, built by Lourenne during the era of the Federation of Canrille, will function
as Lourenne's overseas naval bases for possible operations in Majatra and Seleya. The Royal Air Force,
recently upgraded with 155 new Rafelle-Attaque jet fighter, has also announced that its main fighters
will be stationed on the 1st and 3rd response fleets while its older model fighters will remain on the
2nd and 4th response fleets. The Royal Navy and The Royal Air Force experienced an increase in recruits
by a total of 30,000 men combined. While the Royal Ground Component's numbers remained at a stagnant
number of around 300,000, the ground component has held various exercises practicing and mastering
the strategies and focuses of the Déploiement Dynamique Doctrine (DDD) established by the Ministry of
Defense. The Royal Armed Forces totaling, roughly 500,000 active personnel, have been prepared for and
trained for any conflict in any biome and terrain on Terra. The Royal Ministry of Defense is reportedly in
talks to hold large military exercises in the Anantonese Ocean and Lourenne with its neighboring nations
however, nothing has been officially released as of today.

1st Ever Lourennais Electronic Exhibition (LEE) held in Valois
March, 4628

Image
Image
(LEE) at the Lousanville Entertainment Center in Downtown Valois (above)
Image
Centre-Ville District, Valois:Last weekend, the Valois city council closed down sections of the Centre
Ville to allow easier access to the massive Lousanville entertainment Center where, for the first time
ever, many of Lourenne's top technological and engineering firms gathered together to showcase their
latest projects, products, and future company innovations at the first ever Lourennais Electronic Exh-
ibition. The exhibition, which lasted throughout the weekend, was held at the Lousanville showroom
No. 5, 6, and 7 as well as the entertainment center's 3 theaters to showcase more products. The LEE
was attended by many small technological firms who are beginning to lay important foundation work
in Lourenne's major cities. However, the LEE was focused on the showcases from the Lourennais tech
giants including: Manon-Maison Communications, Technologie Asteria, Mobile Aurore, Cielsoft, and
Entrepises Future. Each company had large interactive display centers in each of the Entertainment
Center's showrooms to showcase their new products. Cielsoft, the most recent technology company to
enter the markets, revealed new models of their Ciel-A1 software. Cielsoft introduced their new Ciel
Infinite Software
specifically made for heavy durability computers including those made internation-
ally, not just computers made in Lourenne. Technologie Asteria revealed that they would be working
together with Mobile Aurore to continue Mobile Aurore's Aura-X line of mobile phones. Manon-Maison
did not release any new products, however, they revealed that the company is working on opening new
microchip creation centers in the city of Valois, which is expected to create hundreds of jobs within the
Valois Metropolitan Area. Each company had employment managers to allow individuals interested in
working for any company to apply for open jobs in manufacturing centers, company stores, and in sales.
An estimated 200 jobs were crested over the first day of the LEE. The LEE planned by the Lourennais
tech sector was labelled as a success. Hundreds of thousands of people came to the LEE to discover
about the most massive sector in Lourenne being technology. The main creators of the LEE mainly a
group of CEO's from many tech sector companies, have decided that the LEE would take place every 3
years in the city of Valois to display the ever growing tech sector in Lourenne. The LEE creators stated
that an international showcase similar to the LEE would be considered, however, it is unknown if the
hosting country would remain Lourenne or alternate every 3 years.

Eroncourt begins surveillance protocols and enhances citywide security
ahead of Eight Economies Conference

April,4634
Eroncourt, Joviant

Image
Eroncourt, Joviant: This evening, the Eroncourt city committee announced that new security and surveillance measures
will begin to take place throughout the historic government complex as the city prepares to host the Eight Economies
summit next year. The summit, which will be attended by Kazulia, Dorvik, Yingdala, Istalia, Hutori, and Vanuku as well
as many other nations, will cover three days each with its own purpose. The City of Eroncourt, will be covering the
expenses and costs of security and hospitality for all important officials attending the conference. The city's police officers
as well as the interior guard, have been trained for the past three months to make sure that all government officials are
kept safe and that major population zones are adequately protected from any harm. er majesty's Royal Guard, according
to the Crown Representative, will be "available for any head of state who wishes to have extra security at the conference
and in their guest residency", however, representatives coming in from any other nation is welcomed to bring their own
security.

According to organizers of the Eight Economies conference, representatives of the member countries will be staying at
the 5-star Royal Estates Hotel of Lac des Lumieres, just 6 minutes away from the Palace of Lights, the home of the
Monarch of Lourenne. The Royal Estates hotel is within the city limits of Lac des Lumieres, which means that security at
the hotel will be exact to the security which is established at the royal palace. All 11 million residents in Eroncourt have
been notified that certain streets near the government complex will be shutdown early to prepare for the conference. All
residents have been advised that downtown Eroncourt will suffer heavy traffic and will be under constant security checks
to ensure the safety of Greater Eroncourt. Evacuation plans, emergency routes, and scenario simulations are being reviewed
by the Interior Guard, the Royal Guard, and the Eroncourt Police Department to ensure that, if the conference safety is
compromised, all representatives can leave in a safe and prompt manner. Although, because of the low crime levels and
terrorist plots in Lourenne, scenarios of danger are extremely unlikely to happen. Eroncourt's safety levels have not been
this elevated since the official visit of representatives from Kazulia decades ago, yet officials in Eroncourt are convinced
that the conference will be an international success in terms of organization, safety, and delivery.

Map of Lourennais bases throughout the globe, Solid Blue: Naval Base, Solid Green: Air Base,
Striped Color: Future Base

Image
Parmentier, Outannais: The Minister of Defense announced this morning that The Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and the Ministry of Defense held successful talks with the Republic of Vorona to establish a naval
base for the Lourennais Royal Navy in Vorona in exchange for helping Vorona expand their naval capabil-
ities and technology. The deal, which is set to become official in the next month or so, will focus on
establishing a concrete relationship between Vorona and Lourenne through military capabilities. The Min-
ister of Defense also declared that an option to further develop economic relationships with Vorona was
open however, the Voronan government, as well as the Lourennais Royal Assembly, would have to pass a
treaty for such option, yet officials claimed that the Voronan government is very likely to agree. After
releasing information about the Voronan Naval Base and cooperation opportunity, The Royal Ministry of
Defense crafted a map for public use to show transparency between the Royal Cabinet and the people
of Lourenne. The map shows all of the United kingdom's bases throughout the world. May of Lourenne's
old bases have closed down, how- ever many of them have been re-opned, re-modeled, and have been
put into use. Currently, Lourenne has two naval bases in use, one in Kanjor and one in Rildanor. A planned
naval base in Vorona hasn't been opened yet, however, it will open within the next year. Lourenne has
one airbase in Kazulia and has a planned one to open in Alduria within the next year or so. another airbase
is set to open in Hulstria next year as well. By next year, Lourenne will have 6 foreign military bases, each
planned to be in constant use. this move by the Ministry of Defense is set to be a cause of the Ministry's
new international strategy which calls for Lourenne to be able to project its power outside its sphere of
influence. More details of this strategy is yet to be released by the RMD in the future.
