Tasselstaat Provincial Government and Koeistad City Government, with the help of Federal Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport (FMIT), opened new public library "koeistadbiblioteek."- project, that won
in federal tender system TenderSD. FMIT hopes that this project will insipe other provincial governments to support and popularize public projects in cities: "If anything, FMIT can provide needed help. Right now, we plan a federal bill, that will increase funds for such things, and even more funding for green/enviromental projects"

Projects like this, are expected not only provide more comfort for capital citizens, but also to support tourism and gain more interest in city for everyone in Saridan, and other countries. "Amount of ideas, that were proposed for capital government are almost infinite. Every citizen wants to help the city in any way possible", - says Koeistad Mayor Laurens-Jan Kassies, - "I'm with FMIT on this, we really need to popularize public projects. That's what makes people happy, something that is built by their own hands? But of course, that doesn't means that City Government shifts it's responsibility on citizens, we just hope, that this could result a creation of a dozens of new jobs."

"koeistadbiblioteek." is also great reminder, that government should remember of inclusive people. Library have all needed resourses for inclusive people, and that is really important, cause we need to respect and make everyone equally comfortable. Specially, for this library, Koeistad City Government asked publishing houses to make special books for inclusive blind people.

Tasselstaat Stadtholder says that "more projects are yet to come", and Provincial Assembly already having funding bills on review.

Estia Groenewald "touring" through provinces, agitating for green and social reforms, refreshing and rejunevation of provincial governments. Minister-President says: "Of course, we need to keep a provincial "home rule", but we still need to make important reforms, not just somewhere, but in whole country, no matter if it's urban or rural area."

To understand the problem and reason, why exactly this "tour" happened, we need to understand, that in Saridan, Federal Government are prohibited from interfering in provincial affairs much.

After questioned on "refreshing and rejunevation" part of speech, Minister-President answered: "We can't force young people go for election to assembly, but we need to inspire them. Experience is great, no question. But when 70-year-old people govern country, you can't expect a reform from a lot of them. And we need reforms."
While "touring", Minister-President proposes such reforms:
    - a more green approach to problem in provinces.
    - more equal attitude towards minorities.
    - more minority representation in provincial governments/assemblies.
    - going towards free, and more accessible public transport
    - equal rights and pay for women
After meeting with Boerestaat Stadtholder, on a briefing Minister-President annouced a new proposal: "an Intergovernmental Provincial Council with Federal Government in head of it". Boerestaat Stadholder says, that this could improve relationship and communicating between governments much more, than it is now, but also, proposal intends that State President could also be a part of Council, as advisory member to both Provincial and Federal Governments.

Now it's only a matter of time, when all of this reforms will be implemented in life.

Also, NCSR expected to create an rail line, that will connect not just cities, but countries. We will support FCSR, and it's pronvincial branches." - said MP Groenewald on briefing w/ FMIT minister De Villers.

Estia Groenewald, longest-serving minister-president in history, steppted down as Progressiewe chairwoman, to "give a way for new candidates and faces to govern the country". Progressiewe founder sure created a huge history for Saridan, reforming it for better, giving a second life to renewable and green industry.

Now, her successor - Annemarije Coninenbelt, Minister of Justice in both Groenewald cabinets (4980-4996) will continue Groenewald's reforms and ideas. Coninenbelt seen as less radical, more centre-left candidate compared to Groenewald far-left policy. She was a part of moderate fractions in both SLP and Progressiewe, yet supported most of policies. In pre-election interviews, Coninenbelt said that "there will be shuffle in cabinet, but ideas will stay the same", as many fear change of Progressiewe ideology since Coninenbelt took the chairwoman seat.
Altus Cloete, Coninenbelt's deputy chairman, also seen as moderate politican, even more than Annemarije. Koeistad, under his governance continued policy of SLP predecessors, which reflected quite negatively on Cloete's ratings. Yet, he's quite popular politician, so his election as Progressiewe deputy chairman brang support for party.

Still, the thing that keeps everyone confused is Coninenbelt's policy on federalization. Various sources, publicators saying that Coninenbelt have plans to come back to more centralized form of government, and gradually move away from the decentralized form of government.

Now, cabinet formation is going, and we're getting ready for new goverment. Question is, will Coninenbelt become next longest-serving MP, or will she resign shortly? All these questions will be answered in next years. In the meantime, we will continue to publish the most important news for you.

Seleyan Union is no more, but Coninenbelt Cabinet have plans to restore it?

On a weekly Question Time, Federal Minister of International and Seleyan Affairs Lilanie Haarhof expressed Cabinet's interest in reformating the SU. Coninenbelt later stated that Cabinet indeed planned to have talks with Seleyan states about restoration of Union. Minister Haarhof that Seleyan Union was helpled everyone on continent, both economically and defensively, created equal opportunities and representation for all.

"Yet, this should be the union, that will push countries to more democratic, tolerant and equal way. And SU should everything to support any democratic reforms in Seleyan states. Saridan have a history of a racist, segregationist country. And now, we're trying to do everything to show that everyone is equally represented, have a freedom of expression, freedom of love in Saridan. And we need to do everything, to prevent other countries from doing anything like that, because we, as no one else, know how bad it is", - said minister Haarhof.

SU plan proposes to establish a united currency, movement zone, judicial system and government. Government should, of course, have equal representation of every member. Yet, every member should implement laws and acts, approved by SU Coucil of States (Government)

"SU should become the organization of equality, opportunities, cooperation, stability and economic development, that's what will look for after possible re-creating of SU", - said MP Coninenbelt on joined briefing w/ FMISS minister Haarhof.

In 5019, a former long-standing prominent member and MFP of Progressiewe Leeto Nieuwoudt became a part of team, that re-established the Progressiewe. The desicion was broadly welcomed by audience at Progressiewe HQ's briefing.
"Progressiewe will be strong and as stable, as it was in a great Groenewald times! It was a shame, to see party break up, so someone should've bring it back. We're not changing our beliefs, our ideas, our vision. We're finally back.", - said Nieuwoudt on briefing.

Progressiewe is reforming itself, and plan to go more green and internationalist, as party goes further to the left. The new shift to left is inspired by international governments and parties, as Nieuwoudt and party sees Saridan to go further in international politics. On same briefing, deputy chairwoman Nerne Goldberg, said this: "Saridan is a great place for investments, for green and renewable energy. We can trade expiriences with biggest and greatest companies, to make our own industry better. We have big ambitions, and we want your support, to make it all happen. Progress will never end, no matter who is in charge. Thank you."

Party plans to communicate further with it's Seleyan neighbors, and major international powers to deliver a green message. "Keymon - is a great country. We want to achieve something, at least, similar to what this beautiful country has. We know that, there's a genius inside all of us, but we need to find it. That's why we also want to work hard on a education reforms. To make schooling interesting, innovative and more knowledgable. The amount of ideas, that party had and has right now is numerous. And we want to make them a reality with people's support." - Leeto said to nowSARIDAN in interview.

Koeistad: A new party has emerged on the political stage in Saridan. The new Republikeinse Volksbeweging or Republican People's Movement was found by a man named Francois Jonker. Jonker formed the party, believing the policies of the ruling progressives would hurt the country in the long term and he seeked to create a right wing alternative to their left wing proposals. This resulted in him creating the party, which is more like a movement with all posts of leadership on the local and national level elected by party members. The party sees itself as big tent, with several different factions within the party and primaries deciding which candidate of the party is moved forward to run in the election or be on the ballot for that part of the country. "Its a democratic movement" Jonker said when he announced its creation, "we stand in unity but have a big set of different ideas within the party. through our internal party democracy we will only grow and make sure that the RVB becomes a true movement of the people."

But that democracy almost cost himself the leadership. Under the new party rules, a leadership election had to immediately be called. This election would see party members from every municipality vote for their prefered candidate, with the candidate winning most votes in that municipality then receiving its delegate, with a total of 477 up for grabs. The candidate with the most delegates then wins the contest. The winner then becomes party leader and candidate for minister-president, and can also appoint the candidate for State-President. But the first election for leadership almost cost Jonker, who narrowly won from the center-right Alex Beugels who is known as mayor of Duiwelslaag first as independent and now a member of the RVB. Jonker won by just 3 delegates, narrowly holding onto the leadership of his own created party. Jonker himself is firmly right wing, but will now thus have to compromise with some center leaning members. He already announced that he will pick Beugels as Staatspresident candidate to appease his wing. But the new party has been established, gaining new members by the day and already showing what its capable of internally. Now its up to the newly elected leadership to show what they can do on the national stage.
