ROBERT STILLMAN ISSUES INJUNCTION AGAINST GENDER REASSIGNMENT BAN

Today, Justice Deputy Robert Stillman issued a directive to the Governor to allow two hospitals in Charleville and three hospitals in Rechtenburg to resume gender reassignment surgery.

“It’s a simple matter of following the laws on the books” Stillman said in a brief press conference, “on the other hand, I trust your capabilities for handling violent protests, Mr. Governor. Any reasonable action, including the dispersement of violent protests will have the full support of the justice department.”

The seriousness of the injunction was called into question with a recent devolution act that includes the right of the states to determine laws regarding gender reassignment.

GOVERNOR LEVINE RESPONSE TO THE INJUNCTION

The Minister of Justice and the Justice Ministry issued an injunction to Governor Levine directing him to allow two hospitals in Charleville and three hospitals in Rechtenburg to resume gender reassignment. Here is the Governor's response to that injunction:

I believe in states' rights and the rights of the people. The national government loves to overstep their authority from time to time. However, Minister Stillman, a very nice guy I tell ya, only directed us to allow five hospitals to resume gender reassignment. It is in the state's best interest to follow those directives. That is why, I am ordering that two hospitals in Charleville and three hospitals in Rechtenburg to resume gender reassignment surgery. All other hospitals in the state are still blocked from doing such a surgery.

After his order, the five hospitals resumed gender reassignment surgery; however, LGBTQ protestors are continuously protesting equal rights to trans people. The Governor tweeted, "what more do they want?"

BREAKING: GOVERNOR RICHARD LEVINE ENTERS THE NCC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY; ELECTOIN 4609

Image

Governor Levine of Talasor has officially announce that he is running for President in 4609. He announced on the eve of that night before filings officially closed. The Governor started his announcement speech by ridiculing President Plyd and former President Thomas Sutherland for their weakness to act on key issues like immigration, welfare, and their roles in contributing to a weaker military. Governor Levine also stated that under his Presidency, the tax code will be "simplified" to help the unforgotten middle class Mordusians.

As Governor of Talasor, Richard Levine has drastically changed the way of life by creating a simpler infrastructure, orchestrating a better justice system to protect all Mordusicans regardless of race, and even stepping the back scenes of the national government and orchestrating the formation and passage of the Education Reform Act of 4608. However, the Governor has a long history of what people could call homophobia and racism. Those allegations were struck down by the Governor's Office the same day that it was bought to the media.

What will a Levine Presidency look like? We'll see after the first NCC Presidential Primary Debate.

BREAKING: Former Controversial Governor, Richard Levine, Elected Chairman of NCC

Image

Stephen Atkinson, National Conservative Council Vice Chairman, Former Defense Minister

The former Governor Richard Levine of Talasor was elected unanimously by the National Conservative Council. He easily took the chairmanship from Dr. Thomas Sutherland, who served three terms as Chairman of the party. After losing three straight elections and the lack of legislative actions, the party has ousted the long-term chairman.

Governor Levine has selected Stephen Atkinson, former Defense Minister and party chair candidate. Stephen Atkinson has challenged Dr. Sutherland's chairmanship every chance he got, even while Dr. Sutherland was President of Mordusia. However, the party came to its senses when Governor Levine threw in his hat for chair.

While running for chair, Governor Levine promised a more conservative party without compromises, even promising to be labelled once again a party for the free market. Levine went further and promised more legislative action this session.

Will the National Conservative Council regain what was lost?

NCC CHAIR RICHARD LEVINE INTERVIEWED, COUNTRY GOT IT WRONG?

In an interview with the National Conservative Council Chairman, Richard Levine, semi-presidential government was talked about between our interviewer and Mr. Levine. It was asked, "We have a semi-presidential form of government where the President is the Head of State and a Prime Minister who is Head of Government. In this form of government, how do the two roles coexist?" Chairman Levine, without hesitation, stated that:

"When you have a semi-presidential system of government where two roles are identical, then one of two things must happen; either the President focus only on foreign affairs and the Prime Minister on domestic policy; or, the President focus only domestic policy and the Prime Minister on foreign policy. You just can't have both coexisting in both realms of policy. It causes confusion. And President Plyd and Prime Minister VanDerWall have been doing it wrong for a little over nine years and it just isn't right. I think the legislature should put them in check and make it a requirement that the President focus on foreign policy and the Prime Minister focus on domestic policy or just do away with the Prime Minister and create a Vice President or change our system of government completely. The choice is up to us; do we want to continue running a country in confusion or run a country that is organized? That's an easy question, or at least it should be."

Our interviewer then asked Chairman Levine if he would do something about it. Mr. Levine responded:

"My party and our twenty-nine members in the National Assembly will be holding a conference to discuss this issue as well as other issues. This conference will come in a few weeks where we will lay down our policy plan so that we may regain control of the National Assembly and hopefully the Executive."

As stated by the Chairman, a conference shall be hosted in the coming weeks in the capital of our nation.

BREAKING: PROTESTORS IN FRONT OF PRESIDENTIAL PALACE PROTESTING THE DISSOLVEMENT OF PRESIDENT PLYD'S PARTY; CALL FOR EARLY ELECTION

Image

Protestors can be seen outside of the Presidential Palace. These protest ignited after President Plyd dissolved her party and hasn't been seen active in policy decisions. Some protestors are even calling for an early election. The Prime Minister has not spoken out against the actions of the President but her silence is keeping the protestors active and their fire igniting.

NCC Vice Chairman, Stephen Atkinson, announced earlier this afternoon that the party is weighing options on whether it would be good for the nation to call another early election after having one less than a year ago. Mr. Atkinson stated that the party is discussing two options: (1) a call for early elections; or (2) instating the Prime Minister as the Acting President of Mordusia.

The National Conservative Council calls for early elections after President Plyd and the Mordusian Labour Party became inactive. Chairman Richard Levine and Vice Chairman Stephen Atkinson of the National Conservative Council met with members and policymakers in the National Assembly to drum up support for the motion. If all goes as planned, a new political party could be in control of the executive branch.
