CSD celebrates a huge victory after 4893 ElectionsAfter the collapse of CRP-PRP government and CRP dissolution, CSD began ralling on issues that are close to ordinary man. Since the rise of unemployeement and deterioration of economical conditions which began in the very late 4880s which in turn resulted in total colapse of fragile political system in Likatonia which was established in early 4880s, Democrats began turning to the left. This gradual but certain and seemingly inevitable change did result in the emergence of CSD - Coalition of Socialists and Democrats which consisted from two established and old parties (Labour Party and Democratic of Likatonia) but as well from relatively unknown and new political force until 4889 elections - Progressive Alliance. The combination of old and new, familiar and fresh new faces at the political podium resulted in relative victory at their first joint elections in 4889 when voters gave a strong mandate to the left and especially to the PA, saying no to the old right parties and no to the old parties in general. But left alone didn't hold majority as PVF a populist and syncretic party finished as close 2nd most voted list. The negotiations between PA and PVF were not that long, but were more exhausting and on brink of giving up on multiple occasions. As a result of PVF's political position this government didn't last long and Likatonia was faced with new early election held in 4991. In these elections, CSD again came on top in terms of votes, but right combined held majority which led to CRP-PRP government. Soon afterwards, it was clear that CRP's political platform was more libertarian and more liberal at foreign affairs than PRP's which led us to this early elections.The result of 4993 is quite remarkable because after 13 years, CSD began the first single list to held majority in the Senate after ULO. Some political analysists are sceptical of CSD's longevity because of political history of Likatonia where broad lists are formed but there is also another factor which some analysists think which should be taken into account. CSD is the only coalition in history of Likatonia which is ideologically identified with the left and does not represent a fussion of left and right as ULO and Lab-Dem-CRP or Dem-CRP-CPL coalitions did. However, some observers are sceptical of Democratic new left agenda, instead they point out that Democrats can be linked to right as well and some of those is Nicolas Ridley who says:
I would never trust Democrats in being left. Even though, this party may propose some even radical left bills, this party can work with right and even far-right if they deem that to be benefitial for them. We can't forget Turley I cabinet and Turley's flatering with nationalism and right-wing populism.
Some other political experts think that Turley I cabinet was forced and expetional move made by Democrats at the same. Maria Stevens says:
Democratic Party of Likatonia is trurly a centre-left social liberal party at its core and can on occasions shift from social democratic ideology to more broad liberal ideology and these are the values that Democrats certainly uphold from my perspective as at the time when Turley I cabinet, Democrats had to deny one of their promises and wishes.

Yesterday, the people have given us, to the forces of peace, a strong support. We must not let them down as this support is an immense and is beyond our expection. Therefore, all CSD parties will be committed to improving the international relationship, especially with Keymon. However, we must stay pround and remain patriotic in our hearts but we can't humiliate other nations just because they are our traditional enemies. In fact, giving love and spreading it to the others is vitally improtant in order to show to the Terra that we are not naturally inherited evil and ultranationalistic country, but quite the opposite. On top of that, CSD will remain committed to the sustainable development while protecting the poor and saving our environment.
