Rape, Pillaging and Looting in Chester!

It has been reported that just last night a raid occurred in the city of Chester, Pirland. It appears to have been perpetrated by a group of extremist Republicans from Madison, in response to the burning of the Battle of Madison graveyard, where many war-heroes of the old Confederacy are buried. These Conservative Madison Extremists sought to out justice in their own hands and get revenge on the leftist Pirlanders. A horde of these extremists traveled by a government-owned ferry from Madison to the northern coastal city of Chester in Pirland, disguised in hooded robes underneath which they wore traditional CONFEDERATE army uniforms (advocating for the reimplementation of slavery of Talmorians in Likatonia). At 10:00, as the sky darkened, they began attacking every establishment they came across, breaking and entering and looting some, and burning others. There were reports of rape by some. A total casualty count has not been made yet but an estimated 289 Pirland army men (coastguards, police etc.) were slaughtered. There is no doubt that the people of Pirland will retaliate, the only question is when.

This attack has gotten a nickname through the media. It has been named "The Raid of Chester".
It was debated within The Republican Party whether the LKIP terrorists were doing Madison a favor by burning the graveyard, as it had been contaminated with the filth of Alexander Ren, the LKIP sympathizer. However it was agreed by a majority that the desecration of the graveyard was a vile, terroristic act that must be brought out in national court so that those who perpetrated the attack can be brought to justice.
Since the civil war, much has changed in Likatonia. The two main sides of the war (confederacy and union) merged into one known as The Republican Party, as the union slowly became more conservative and the confederacy came to respect the anti-slavery policies on the union. Though, now years later, talk of slavery in the The Republican Party are popping up again. With the fall of the Elitist and Progressive party, sparking the rise of an all new party (LKIP), politics in Likatonia have never been more chaotic. The Commonwealth, Blackshirts and Supremely Right parties are also examples of parties that have fallen since the civil war, with the Confederacy and Union also having disappeared for a short time before reemerging as the The New Republican Party.
