Hutorian PM Concludes State Visit in Likatonia

Hutori Concludes Visit to Likatonia

Hutori has concluded their three day visit to the Federal Republic of Likatonia. Among the things that were talked about were Hutori's large investments in the Likatonian economy, specifically through mining in East Bolton. Two domestic factories were also opened in Likatonia by Jetstream Aerospace and Horizon Technology Corporation. Defense Minister Ross talked about the possibility of two military basses being opened in Likatonia, one being an Air Force base in West Bolton and a Naval base in Pirland and beginning joint military exercises to which Defense Minister Phillip Virgil responded positively saying that he would try to sell the idea to his colleagues in the House of Representatives.

Defense Minister Phillip Virgil and Minister of Foreign Affairs Jepson Hayes came out of the three day meeting saying that they thought the meeting went well and that they hope Hutori and Likatonia would grow closer, he also said he thinks that this will improve Likatonias part on the world stage and grow us into a strong military power. Phillip Virgil said that he hopes Likatonais aerospace program LAP will improve and that he hopes Likatonia will have one of the strongest Air Forces in Terra.

Two Factories Opened in Likatonia

Two factories have been opened in Likatonia by Jetstream Aerospace and Horizon Technology for the maintenance and supply of HH-16E attack helicopters and HF-35E fighter jets, both companies are from Hutori. Jetstream Aerospace opened their factory in West Bolton for the HF-35E and Horizon Technology opened theirs in East Bolton for the HH-16E.

Hutori said that when Likatonia has developed its programs more fully and completely that the factories will be modified for domestic production so Likatonia can began building aircraft in Likatonia so they do not have to import new models and parts from Hutori. Foreign Affairs Minister Jepson Hayes said that Likatonia would allow Jestream Aerospace and Horizon Technology to make Likatonian branches of their companies. Defence Minister Phillip Virgil stated an ambitious goal for Likatonias air-force stating that he would work towards seeing Likatonia sport 1,000 HF-35E.

Davoston Buys Last of East Bolton Mine Area

After a large mass of minerals, gems, and precious metals were found in East Bolton in Likatonia several Likatonian companies started investing and buying plots of the 500 square miles of explored mines and 900 square miles of unexplored area, shortly after Dorvik rented the largest plot, and Hutori bought a large share as-well. Both started mining procedures shortly after hiring thousands of Likatonian workers, and the finally Davoston bought the last 200 square miles of unexplored mine area, now that all the mine area has been bought or rented Likatonia is starting to see the long term economic effects from the mining, Likatonia was already lifted from being a small economy to an average economy and many economist are predicting large returns.

In total the four Likatonian companies spent 9.34 bill. LIK, Hutori spent 7.5 bill. LIK and Davoston spent 4 bill. LIK, in total 20.84 bill. LIK was spent on purchasing land, but it is unclear how much in total has been invested.

50 HF-18L Put on Order

On September 16th Defence Minister Phillip Virgil put in order for 50 HF-18L to be produced in East Bolton by Horizon Technology. He said this is one of the first steps in developing LAP and improving Likatonias air force. The order will be completed bye September 4721, the Minister said that he planed on putting in more orders and hoped that the air force would improve and that Likatonia would have one of the best militaries in Terra. The order will cost LAP 3.75 bill. LIK out of the 5 bill. LIK LAP budget, Virgil said that if LAP needs more funds their is 5 bill. LIK available for use.

Likatonia Denies Bribery Claims

Defense Minister Phillip Virgil and Minister of Foreign Affairs Jepson Hayes have released a joint letter denying the claims of bribery and corruptoin from Jetstream Aerospace and Horizon Technology.

"On behalf of the Likatonian government, we, Defence Minister Phillip Virgil and Minister of Foreign Affairs Jepson Hayes, deny the corruption and bribery allegations put forth by the Conservative Party of Hutori. We see it as a political move bye the Conservatives done to slow the advancement of the Likatonian Aerospace Program (LAP). Jetstream Aerospace and Horizon technology did not bribe the Likatonain government they simply opened factories to help upkeep the newly purchased HH-16Es and HF-35Es and to build air-craft for Likatonia, the opening of the factories is welcomed bye Likatonia as they provide more jobs and advance out Air-Force and LAP, the only corruption that is happening are the allegations themselves."

Jepson Hayes Fires Back at the Conservatives

The Conservative Party of Hutori clearly has set up this witch hunt to slow the progress of Likatonia as an economically and militarily developing nation. They
say they called for the investigation when a whistleblower in the Prime Ministers Office sounded the alarm, which we have no doubt about their being a whistleblower, but we have reason to believe that the true bribery comes from the Conservative Party of Hutori. We believe that the Conservative Party of Hutori may have bribed the whistleblower to lie about these allegations, the reason we think this is because the identity of the whistleblower remains unknown and the whistleblower has yet to testify, we think that it is a cover up to hide any evidence of bribery between the whistleblower and the CPH. The government of Likatonia hopes that the CPH would never commit such a serious crime, but until the whistleblower testifies we can not be sure.

Jess makes speech to Labour Supporters and gives information to LNN about its future

The Labour party have delived a speech today infont of many of their supporters emphasising how it is necessary that Likatonia gets a new government and that they arepart of it. This is due to their success in the last election which saw three times as many people vote for them in this election compaired to the last. This has been mainly credited to Jess Baker who became the Labour Party's first presidential candidate and spread the Labour message to more people than ever. Jess said to the LNN after the talk that she hoped Romesh Tucker would become the next PM and give this country a left leaning government to not let the right wing parties sell of all our industries and make you pay more by giving companies more freedom to raise prices and charge you if you fall ill. She also said how it would be great that Likatonia would have a PM from a minority group and be a great steop in the right direction for the future of this country and shows how this party will protect minorities rights.

First forest sold off for logging

500 acres of forest in Madison has been sold to the newly created Likatonian Logging Comapany. They will plan to build a sawmill and storage area on the site on the site and reagrange the forest so it will be easier to cut down the trees, though this will happen gradually to limit the impact on local wildlife. This is due to the work of Matt Smith, the minister of trade and industry, who made sure this Labour Party policy would be put in place before the government changes. He said it was "great that Likatonian Industry can thrive, and along with the mining in East Bolton will provide a new economy for the country." The party is hopeing the next government will stick to this policy and will do more to implement it on other major forests in the country.
