Prime Minister speaks to the nation

Prime Minister of Likatonia has spoken on national televison showing here gratitude to the work done by the Police, Military, CAFL and government in trying to maintain order as much as possible in Likatonia. She admits that there will have to be a lot of work rebuild what this country has lost in the conflict and has advised the Finance Minister Amari Dirksen to form a new budget to rebuild. She also said that the NULP are a group of criminals who want to destroy democracy and should have no power in Likatonia.

Hunt Begins

After a failed coup the gray shirts and other rebel military men scattered many were killed or arrested during the coup, but Defense Minister Phillip Virgil has despatched 35,000 military men and Lieutenant General of CAFL Cornelius Elgar has despatched 75,000 CAFL members to hunt down surviving coup members and will shoot to kill if the coup members resist, coup members have also been given the chance to turn themselves in for a reduced punishment, the already arrested coup members punishment will be decided in a military court. The Defense Minister also reached out to Hulstaria and Hulstaria will be sending supplies and men to help Likatonia. The damage is still being assessed but so far the military has reported 4,500 of their own mens deaths and 8,000 injuries but that number is expected to rise, CAFL has reported around the same so far, and the coup members are at 5,000 deaths and 6,000 injuries but many have still not been counted, the damage is estimated to cost 10 bill. LIK so far but many bases have not been assessed. The NULP leader is also being hunted down for arrest and interrogation he will not be killed and has been asked to turn himself in.

Economic Downturn After failed Coup

The Likatonian Stock Market saw increases across the board, with a few decreases to. Likatonia also saw new healthcare, insurance, pharmaceutical, and automobile companies, with some of those companies being, The Likatonian Healthcare Company, Hampton Drug, Merrial, Osbourne Insurance, Shepard Drug, The National Banking Union, and Green Health. Likatonia also saw a rise in small businesses to which is expected to be due to small business owners reinvesting personal profits into their businesses.

Oil Wells In Hulstaria Complete

7 new oil wells were built in Hulstaria after reaching a swift deal with the government of Hulstaria, 4 oil wells are in Budenlar and 3 Oil wells in Kuratha. The Drilling has started and each well produces 7 barrels per day which will be around 42,000 barrels annually and Hulstaria will get 20% of the oil. The Hamilton Company reported that they hired 78% Hulstarians 13% Likatonians and 9% other.

Rebuilding Starts

Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Don Hukleberry and Minister of Trade and Industry Samsom Millward have started a project to rebuild the cities and infrastructure destroyed in the failed fascist coup, using the 9 bill. increase between them. The plan will focus first of Clovisport were most of the damage happened and then will move on to the cities of Edisville, Clinton, Chester, St. Jackson, Georgetown and other damaged cities.

Damage and Losses Counted

The damage and causalities of the failed coup have counted, the damage is estimated to cost 63 billion LIK, the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Don Huckleberry says that the rebuilding project will focus first on public buildings and sites, but they will subsidies 50% of the cost for private buildings, he also said that they will be using private companies to help rebuild the economy.

The casualties have been counted and out of the rebel troops 13,000 were killed 26,000 were injured this was out of some 175,000 supposed rebel troops however around 60% of them only joined to help put down the coup, for the military their was around 5,000 deaths and 15,000 injuries, they lost no ships, or fighter jets, but they lost 10 tanks, 3 H-15, 4 LT23, and 3 M21. For CAFL they lost 6,000 troops and had 8,000 injuries.

Likatonian Economy Rebounds

After the rebuilding project started and consumption started rising again the Likatonian economy rebound, more small business opened and construction companies hired many more people, the reason for the large job creation is because of the coup members jobs being replaced by other citizens. Several Hutroian companies also started participating in the Likatonain stock market, with Millard and Ross Motors being completely publicly traded companies Horizon selling 39%, Jet Stream 49% and Charter Energy Group selling 19%. The first of the oil also came from Hulstaria and was sold to Lancaster and Clovisport Energy to refine into energy.

The Hamilton Company Donates 100 mill. LIK to Charity

After getting 711 mill. LIK in revenue and 561 mill. LIK in profit, John Hamilton decided to take 100 mill. LIK from the profit and donate it to various charities across Likatonia. They gave them to a number of food pantries and other local charities around the country across all 5 states. The Hamilton Company also is planning on building a 1,000 acre solar panel farm to ease the environmental concerns over the Hamilton Companies investment in oil and natural gas.

Defense Minister Orders Supplies to Help Hulstarain Government

In light of the recent insurgency in Hulstaria Defense Minister Phillip Virgil has ordered supplies to be gathered and sent to the Hulstarian government, the shipment will include food, water, ammo, and 8,000 barrels of oil. The Defense Minister has sent these supplies and are on their way and will arrive in Kien within the next 24 hours, they will be given to the government for distribution were they are needed. The Defense Minister said that Likatonia must pay back Hulstaria for there help and has aid that he has 10,000 troops and 15,000 CAFL members on standby.

Economy Continues Rising

Despite concerns over a recession the economy has continued to rise with stocks rising across the board, however due to the banning of commercial whaling Pirland Fishing Co. fell 4 points and is expected to continue spiraling downwards. The market also saw two new notable companies a pharmaceutical company Morrison Pharmaceutical and an automobile company Yong, it also saw 4% more small businesses 37,000 new jobs with the unemployment rate continuing to fall. The Hamilton Company, Shepherd Drug, and peoples Bank saw some of the largest increases due to an increase in wages and consumption.
