General Volkhardt responds to AÆSP: "Childish nonsense!"
After a sweeping election result for the Kivonian National Salvation Party, the new power quickly plans to consolidate power

In a sweeping election, the Kivonian National Salvation Party manages to get more than a 2/3rd of the popular vote giving them the power to change any law, constitutional or non-constitutional, legally. The KNSP has made their desire heard of restoring the glory of the former National Salvation Military Council, the dictatorial junta which founded and ruled the Kivonian Republic and the Kivonian Empire from 4595 to 4628, and later from 4644 to 4656. In an Official Statement which was given as a response to the High Queen's Official Decree, Volkhardt stated his desire for peace between the two and that he with the KNSP would respect the office and let the High Queen keep her position. However, his tone has changed since it was rumored that the AÆSP was planning on forming their own government in protest to the KNSP's. He declared that it would be a grand act of treason if they did this and would be if not possible through peaceful means be forcibly detained. He has also threatened with the passing of the Act for the Installation of a Military Junta during a Crisis, which would issue the arrest warrant for the High Queen and anyone who would oppose the motion, effectively establishing a military dictatorship. However, some suggest that if a civil war would occur, he wouldn't impose the Act but instead rely on the Kivonian warrior culture which in his mind would completely dominate the would be rebels. If the opposition tries to form their own government it will be considered an act of treason and I would make sure that the such a rebellion would be put down swiftly. This response of their to the democratic process is just childish nonsense, and that we will stop their little scramble for troops in their so-called "defence force". That is all.

He has announced that the Armed Forces will be sent in to stop the formation of their paramilitary force as by law it "Paramilitaries are illegal and the government may intervene freely to stop any possible activity", at the next security conference he will announce detailed information of the organization structure of the Armed Forces if a conflict breaks out.

Armed forces' High Command releases information of the nation's military situation

The Armed Forces of Davostan-Kivonia is composed of an estimated number of 41,000 men and women actively on duty, while it could reach up to approximately 87,000 soldiers if there would be a call for duty for the nonactive men and women. The Ministry of Defense intends on getting those numbers up to 115,000, but has admitted that they would only be able to reach up to 104,000 with the current legislation if they actively work day and night to recruit young men and women for a year and a half. The reorganization of the armies and fleets will take place and their stationing will be decided after theoretical strategies undertaken if a conflict would brake out between the government and the opposition, the latter which holds the Province of Dovmark. Currently the military structure over the Army has been lacking in efficiency, however, the navy has still maintained some sort of a structural formation, there is the 1st Battle Fleet positioned in the harbor of the city of Garðadalur and the 2nd Battle Fleet at the harbor of the city of Mollested, the navy do also have large Task Forces, one in city of Langrup and the other in a minor city south of Engelshøj. Founded on the 1 December 4620 at the day of the enthronement of Oskar Hartenstein as Emperor Oskar I of the Kivonian Empire, it is currently one of the most famous schools in Davostan especially with its unique history as a Imperial University from 4620 to 4628. Though a private school, the Ministry of Education has long tried to establish a form of cooperation between the school and the Government, which is what has happened now, the Ministry and the school board is working together with the goal to promote the University as a place of prestige and educational power, seeking to become the face of elite students on the continent of Makon, the Government is planning to give more funding to education and especially to this University. The alma mater of many famous historical figures, such as Elise Reinhardt, daughter of Dictator August Reinhardt, who spent three years studying political science and economy, while at the same time serving in the Imperial Armed Forces, Reinhardt later on became the First Consul of the New Kivonian Republic in 4644 after a launching a coup d'état. Karen Millers another student who also spent three years studying economy, a brilliant lawyer and financial consultant who in 4662 founded the Davostani Republic and became its Supreme Chancellor.

The Government hopes to attract more students with exceptional skills and abilities in all different areas to promote an advanced generation and an advanced nation. The Ministry of Education has also stated its desire to attract exceptional students from both Hutori and Telamon, and hopes to cooperate with both those nations to promote a more advanced educational system from Makon to attract students from other nations in the world, to teach and equip with jobs.

Vermillion University's research project is to lay out a map of Kivonian cultural history

At a press conference this evening, the history center of the Vermillion University, led by Professor Anders Lindberg announced their plans to begin a massive exploration into the cultural history of the Kivonian people. Not much of them has been known world wide or regionally for that matter, which is why Professor Lindberg, of Kivonian heritage himself is to dive in deep into historical records and family history of many Kivonians around Davostan today, it is somewhat known that Kivonians take pride in their family, which is why that is place to begin collecting information, as stories of family members deeds have most likely been preserved within Kivonian families. Professor Lindberg has also stated that this will help map out previously unknown history of the Davostanis as well, which has been mostly forgotten during the many dark ages of Satanilic rule.

The Ministry of Education and Culture has expressed their full support to this project and has promised the necessary additional funds separate from what they just recently have given the Vermillion University. The Spokeswoman for the Ministry of Education and Culture, Emelie Pål has expressed her words:

This will be a Grand research contribution to Kivonian culture! However not only the Kivonian culture but Davostani culture in general and hopefully we will be able to recover important and maybe vital details of history which we could learn of and use in our society today.

The project is said to be in full planning and in two months from now they will begin accumulating information and historical records. The Vermillion University has come out with the numbers that over 150 people will work on this full time and that it is also estimated that this could take up to one or maybe even two years to complete.

General Volkhardt denounces the Telamonese Government-in-exile
Government promises rapid military build up and pleads for the High Queen to return

With the former Second Noble Socialist Party, currently known as the United Noble Socialist Party setting up a government-in-exile in Telamon, the government in Kivonia has publicly denounced their attempt to bring an alternative to Davostan. The Head of the Nation, General Augustin Volkhardt has stated:

The Telamonese government is a non-legitimate one, the party and people ruling it are the same who democratically lost the 4749 national elections to the KNSP, they have simply made a coup d'état in one nation to retake another, this is not a serious government and should be denounced internationally by other nations as well

The Secretary of State of the Republic, Christian Kvist has revealed the government's and the Head of the Nation's plans to rapidly build up the military, begin exercises with the newly formed North Terran Alliance with Likatonia, and to increase the manpower. The first militarization plan of the government has turned out to be a massive success, with new vehicles, weapons and ships, the manpower has now been increased from 104,000 to 335,000 active soldiers and 410,000 reserves. There is also speculations over a proposed motion which would mobilize 1/3rd of the whole population, though nothing has yet to be confirmed by the government.

General Volkhardt has also pleaded for the High Queen, Annalise I to return to Davostan-Kivonia and reassume her position as its Supreme Sovereign once more. The government-in-exile has yet to respond to the General's plead, but if the High Queen would return, this would mean a possible decreasing of tensions between the two nations. Despite such hopeful results, the military government has increased its spending on defence with 270 billion, reaching up to a spending of 350 billion. This was made to reach the standards of entry into the North Terran Alliance, plans to set up a fleet at the NTA headquarters of Nyberg in Davostan is also in the motion and confirmed naval exercises with Likatonia is also to happen at any moment.

The Kivonian Armed Forces launched this evening two fighter jets with the mission to circle around an area which lies 50 km from the Telamon coast. The Armed Forces High Command has stated that the end goal of the mission is to prepare the Air Force for the coming military exercise Kivonia is partaking in with Likatonia under the North Terran Alliance. However many have show skepticism to these statements considering the rising tensions between Kivonia (Davostan) and Telamon, and with the former High Queen Annalise stating her desire to be the one to execute the Head of the Nation Augustin Volkhardt. It is clear that the General has taken great offense to the statement made by the High Queen and that it is for that reason the Air Force have been deployed so close to the Telamonese coast.

The Counselor to the Republic Julius Callus, a political and military figure who has remained mostly in the shadows under the current regime, but whom has now responded to the High Queens outburst for the Head of the Nation, the latter being absent for a strategic military meeting with the High Command. Counselor Callus during a press conference this morning stated this:

The FALSE Queen has now shown herself to the world that she is a complete psychotic maniac, "ecstatic to be the one to execute you"? As soldiers I and the Head of the Nation know that we are prepared to kill if necessary, however, we do not long for it unlike someone else. We hope that the international audience can see who this MAD Queen is. A warmonger and anti-democrat! She holds no respect for the democratic results of the 4749 elections, which resulted in the landslide victory of the KNSP. But only history can decide who will be right. Thank you.

With the tensions arising not only on the continent of Makon, but overseas as well, the Foreign Minister of Kivonia Marianne Bruun has warned Dorvik of their meddling in Davostani affairs, she also took the opportunity to welcome the support from Trigunia and that she hopes that a state visit can be in order as soon as possible. During a press conference this evening supposedly to be held by the Secretary of State of the Republic Christian Kvist, the Head of the Nation came out instead giving his own statement concerning the former High Queen's threat:

Good evening. First things first, I wish to say that I admire Annalise's spirit, it is the spirit of a Kivonian, a warrior! It is however, also admirable that Annalise has such spirit when she is not even a Kivonian nor a Davostani but a Kanjorien. A foreigner who has grown up since a young age in Davostan, risen to the top, been ousted democratically from office, claimed leadership over another nation to wage a war against her former... she is not the "savior of Makon", she is the maniac of it. But as a Kivonian I cannot refuse a challenge, so I say this to the "messiah", try and invade us and we will wipe the House of Ashé-Rivières from the face of the earth! Second, I wish to state that any and all nations which support Telamon's "crusade" will be an enemy of the Kivonian and Davostani states as long as for the existence of our two people. Thank you.
