MASS MOBILIZATION ISSUED AS LUTHORI UNPROVOKEDLY THREATENS WAR WITH KUNDRATI

Kivonia, Kovmark – It is February 5473 and the tensions surrounding the Hubris War only rises, as the Beiteynu and Lourenne forces engage in naval and air combat to prove who has the supremacy over Terra it would seem that the most notorious of the imperialist countries on the planet, namely Luthori, threatens to impose their iron will upon another nation's people and spread their colonial ambitions beyond their borders. The Prime Minister of Luthori, Everett Derby, promised Kundrati that war will be waged. Rikspresident Wilhelm Jörgen had made it very clear last year that any act of aggression upon Kundrati is an equal amount of aggression on Davostag. Thus, as Luthori's so-called "ultimatum" is sent to Kundrati, the Davostag Krigsmakt ("Armed Forces") have begun a mass mobilization. In a report during the partial mobilization of 5453 during the Kirlawan crisis, the number of 4,860,000 reservists were confirmed, and the Military High Command have now reported to the Riksdag and the Ministry of Defence that all reservists are to be on stand-by in case of total war, while 380,000 are to immediately report to their stations.
At the moment, there is about 32,000 Davostagian troops in Endralon, which the Rikspresident had assured to be reinforced in the coming year. Now, the 65,000 army soldiers in Davostag will be joined by the mobilized 380,000 – which are divided between the various branches, the largest of which is the army – and join the 32,000 in Endralon as well as being deployed on Kundrati soil. 12 Davostag Navy corvettes are now heading down to reinforce the 11 corvettes stationed around the coasts of Endralon, as well as having 35 fighter aircraft be deployed to Kundrati together with 14 various bomber planes. The Military High Command are coordinating with the Kundrati Armed Forces in constructing defensive capabilities on the southern shores as well as installing anti-aircraft weaponry all over Kundrati and western Endralon.
Due to the seriousness of the matter, Chief of the Military High Command, General Rikard Ljung, has been sent down to Kundrati together with the rest of the Krigsmakt in order to properly manage things. His second-in-command, Generalöverste Olof Magner, will be leading the defense of Kundrati in case of a possible invasion. And finally on this article, the Ministry of Defence, reinforced by the Office of the Premier and the Rikspresident, have issued a decree that all reporting on battle details will be manage by the Krigsmakt's Department of Information in order to keep the flow of accurate information into Davostag safe.
