Special Edition: Royal WeddingBAROVIA CITY, VORONA-This is a special edition of the Vorona Post-Gazette, and will cover, exclusivley, the marriage between the Archduke, and his fiancee, Countess Margerethe von Pulund. Earlier today, Ms. Suzanna Bornheim, a reporter from the Department of Royal and Governmental Affairs sat down with the Archduke's personal secretary, Mr. Johannes Schmidt.
SM: To start with, what is the story behind the marriage of the Archduke and Countess von Pulund?
JS: Well, the Archduke had been looking for a sutible bride for many years. He was invited to a party, where he met the Countess, and they almost immediatley began courting. The Archduke proposed to the Countess, and Earl Josef von Pulund gave his consent for the marriage to take place.
SM: There is some talk about the fact that the Countess is almost twenty years younger then him. Do you see any problem with that?
JS: No, I see no problem with the age difference. In fact, I believe that the age difference will bring them closer together, and hopefully will bring the Voronan people closer to their monarchs.
SM: Now to get stray away from the subject, what is your view on current international politics?
JS: My view? Well, I'll just say that hopefully everyone makes the right choices, and that peace and prosperity will reign over Terra again, instead of fear and petty politics.
SM: So...you're avoiding my question?
JS: Absolutley.
The Archduke and the Countess on their wedding day, which was this past Saturday
The Voronan people were enthusiastic over the fact that their beloved monarch was finally getting married. The Office of the Royal Chancellor and the mail office at Schloss von Barovia recieved a combined total of 1.5 million letters, while the computer server at the National Assembly crashed, due to the fact that all 750 delegates, their aides, staff and the administrative staff were all sending e-mails to the Archduke. It's one week later, and the server is still out of order.
