His Royal Majesty, Archduke Konrad I, declared Vorona to be in a state of war against the Nature and Heritage Party rebels. The rebellion rose up against the tyrannical Archduke late last year, with most of Vojnovy Pokrik joining, whiles leaving Barovia almost entirely in the hands of the royalists. In his speech at Dechow, the Archduke officially movilized the 36,000 strong Kampenkorps to protect the major populations zones in Barovia. Following the order to deploy, he called "for all loyal and righteous Voronans" to report suspected rebel activity to the local Kampenkorps. In ending, Konrad issues a warning, "May this serve as the final notice to all supporters of these rebels; We are His Chosen, and We shall have no mercy upon those who defy us." As the Archduke walked off the stage, a family was herded onto the stage by two Kampenkorps soldiers. The parents were holding their two children(est. 8-5) close to them as the soldiers lined up behind them. The firing squad aimed, and fired, the family dropping like like-sized rag dolls. More soldiers moved to dispose of the bodies, and noticing one of the children still had a pulse, shot again, directly through the skull. No official clarified the situation, but the message was clear. If you rebel, you die. If you love a rebel, you die. If you are even borne from the same seed of a rebel, you die.

Reports from Ziegendorf indicate that the center of NHP support in Barovia has been put on a brutal lockdown, with the Kampenkorps deploying an estimated 10,000 of their soldiers to the city. The population of Ziegendorf, between the mass-executions of suspected rebels, and the fleeing of worried citizens has led to a significant drop in the city's population. The current claimant to the Anglo-Deltarian throne identifies himself only as "Godwin", though many experts believed the Godwin line was broken centuries ago. Archduchy Surrenders to Anglo-Deltarian Freccan, Godwin declares that the nation will become the "Industrial-Syndicates of Voronland"

My Brothers, Workers and Warriors in the cause for Anglo-Deltarian freedom through totalitarianism, as my first act as head of government I purpose that in the truly Democratic sprit of the Thule Organisational Hierarchal Socialist philosophy that a election be held in order to determine who shall become leader of our newly formed state.

Godwin Victorious in Elections! Citizens so pleased with fairness of system they hold spontaneous rallies!

After a second election victory, Thule presses on with Reforms

Finance Minister Edward Cuðbert has announced dramatic spending cuts, saving the state around 2841889989000 DNT a year. Ministries considered superfluous, such as Head of Government, Agriculture and Foreign Affairs, have been reduced to four digits budgets, while "useless" Ministries such as Justice and Environment and Tourism have been abolished entirely. Out of all Ministries, only Internal Affairs, Defence and Industry have not experienced cuts.


Grand Master Eni Hereric has purposed a dramatic reform of the media, adding the Radio and Internet to the States media monopoly, which already included Television, and has introduced laws against the publication of subversive anti-government material and public meetings. Surveys carried out by state television showed that most citizens approve of the States control over every aspect of the Nations intellectual life, seeing it as a great step forward towards a Totalitarian Soceity in which every aspect of human existence will be conditioned by the State.


Godwin has introduced a system of "Entrenched Laws". No debate relating to Entrenched Laws is permitted in the legislature of the Industrial Syndicates of Voronland, nor in the Media, expect between the Emperor and his cabinet. Entrenched Laws will be symbolically craved in stone and placed in the legislature.
