Moon Mission a succes, first deltarian and dundorfian stepped on the moon
The deltarian and dundorfian populations celebrate as news of the succesfull mission reaches them

The FKA today gave Deltaria a massive prestige boost by succesfully completing the moon mission launched several days ago. The DECO-A1 spacecraft succesfully landed on the moon 2 days ago. When the 3 deltarian and 1 dundorfian astronauts left the spacecraft the population of both countries erupted in celebration during the first steps on the moon. For several hours the astronauts took pictures, planted a Deltarian and Dundorfian flag and took samples from the moons surface to examine it back on Terra. After those hours the astronauts were ordered back on the DECO spacecraft to launch one of the most difficult parts of the mission, the return to Terra.
After a launching sequence that took over 2 hours the DECO-A1 managed to succesfully launch back into space with the little fuel it had left. After 2 days of using hydraulics and pressurized gas to steer the craft into Terra's orbit it finally did and started to fall back down to terra eventually detaching its rocket and making a hard landing on the plains of Dissuwa.

This moment is historic for Deltaria as it is the first succesfull manned mission of the country as well as the first time a Deltarian walked on another planet. For dundorf it is also historic as one of their only astronauts was given a chance to go to the moon himself, sparking massive celebrations in Dundorf as well.

With the astronauts safe and returned the FKA has released its roadmap for the upcoming years. In addition to helping the ministry of defense in developing ballistic nuclear missiles the agency is also developing a new military satelite to be used by the military for military operations and communications. The FKA also carefully showed its desire in creating a joint space station in Terra's orbit with other countries and their respective agencies.

Ministry announces development on new attack helicopter
The current Mi-28 attack helicopter in the deltarian airforce has served for over 4 decades and will now be complimented by a new variant

The trigunian designed Mi-28 attack helicopter has been the main attack helicopter of the deltarian airforce for decades, serving in several conflicts and rarely showing any flaws. But as time progressed the decades old attack helicopter started to show its age, challenged by newer models of other nations and its old technology lacking behind it became clear that the airforce would need a replacement for the aging helicopter.

But instead of completely redesigning a entirely new helicopter the ministry of defense in cooperation with airforce officials has decided to base its new design on the trigunian designed Mi-28. The new attack helicopter will be called the MI-28NM and will base its main frame and overall design entirely off the Mi-28.
The new helicopter will be a "total upgrade" upon the old model, including new radar systems, a new type of rocket, upgraded machine guns and heat signature system and much more. The new Mi-28NM is already in full development and the first prototype of the helicopter is expected to enter service early next year. Around 37 new Mi-28NM helicopters have been ordered by the ministry for its own use. VALCRY has been contracted to develop the upgraded model and has already reached an agreement with the ministry of defense on putting the new helicopter on the open market, making it accesible to any nation that can afford it.

First missile silo opened in Alazinder
After 2 years of construction the first missile silo that will hold the planned nuclear balistic missiles has been opened by the president

In a big ceremony attended by the minister of defense the president and military officials the first balistic missile silo of a planned 20 across the country was opened today. This silo and the others to come will hold the in development nuclear balistic missiles of Deltaria that are expected to be finished within the next 3 years. As the nuclear test of Deltaria was a succes the president immediately ordered the FKA and Ministry of defense to start development on the missiles capable of carrying a nuclear warhead. If the missiles are ready Deltaria will be amongst one of the only nations on Terra to possess nuclear weaponry, something that is seen as a danger by most countries in the region. With Kazulia being absent from the world stage in recent years and other nations scrambling to fill the void left behind Deltaria could be and possibly already is amongst the most powerfull nations in Terra.

Largest bank in Deltaria launches investment program
The Federal Creditors Bank or FVB has launched its "Program for Urban Sustainability"

As the wealth of the FVB increases by the day the state was growing increasingly worried by the power the bank now possesses over Deltarian lifes. They now have a staggering amount of 70% of deltarian bank accounts listed at their bank and that number is only increasing. In an effort to make the bank contribute to society the state sat down with the bank its board in finding a way to do so under the threat of partial nationalization. After around half a year of continued talks they came into agreement. This agreement resulted in the FVB bank pledging over 480 billion DTE in a massive urban development program aimed at improving city infrastructure, develop financial districts and invest in more green energy solutions for the evergrowing cities of Deltaria. Some eyebrows were raised on the threats made by the state however, with the stockmarket even showing a loss as a result. But president Fišer assured private companies by stating that this is not "normal treatment of the state against private enterprises" but that it was "a exceptional case of high importance and we are glad the FVB agreed with us in this case"

The plan named the "Program for Urban Sustainability" will be launched in the capital of Čachtice, city of Dolinka, coastal city of Sfântul Sângeorz and 2 others in the countryside which will be further developed over a period of 15 years. The first part of the program will focus on the expansion of several suburbs of the capital and coastal city of Sfântul Sângeorz and on overhauling the urban infrastructure of all listed cities to optimize their capacity and potential.
The FVB will only finance the major projects while the State will execute the actual construction and development of the program.

President Fišer rejects calls for restoration funding to Malivia

First of all we are thankfull from the kind words from Malivia

Said president Fišer during his weekly press conference when asked about Malivian requests to fund the restoration of a religious temple

While Deltaria has always appreciated Malivia dearly our government does not fund things related to religion, as is well known our government enforces a strict policy of secularization and funding religious institutions of any kind can be seen as us favouring one over the other and that is unnaceptable. We once again thank Malivian authorities for their kind words and look forward to a fruitfull relation in the future

FKA and Defense ministry reveal first deltarian nuclear intercontinental balistic missile
Two full years after initial development started and with decades of research behind the effort the first nuclear balistic missile of Deltaria was revealed today

The first missile of a set of around 40 planned missiles was revealed today during a defense expo in the capital of Cahtice. The missile named the RS-28 Sarmat is a highly modern intercontinental ballistic missile. Over 3 decades of research and 2 full years of construction and development has been put in this missile which is not only seen as the first deltarian intercontinental nuclear missiles but is also seen as one of the most modern designs currently available. The defense ministry explained how it chose the RS-28 design for its "modern and up to date features" and how it is "a missile that can last decades as one of the newest models available"

While only one Sarmat missile has been completed the ministry and FKA have already released their vision on the coming years with over 40 RS-28 Sarmat intercontinental balistic nuclear missiles planned for construction with 20 of them being placed in the 20 silo's under construction and the other 20 being stored in case of them being needed. The ministry of defense has already transfered authority over the nuclear arsenal to a new position, the position of nuclear commander held by the highest airforce commander. A strategic command is also being set up in charge of monitoring potential threats and keeping track/launching the nuclear arsenal when necessary or ordered to.

With Deltaria now in possesion of long range nuclear missiles the only thing missing for a true nuclear triad is submarine launched missiles, as of now no details on the potential development of those has been released.

Ground Forces showcase new infantry outfit
As part of a partial overhaul of the groundforces the ground force command has showcased its new infantry outfits
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Deltaria has never encountered problems with the variety of infantry outfits it has used over the decades, with camouflage outfits used in the ongoing Jelbanian conflict, standard camouflage outfits for the terrain of Deltaria itself and several other situations and older outfits also being widely used. But the ground force command has showcased the new standard outfit of all ground units. This outfit will not be used by every single soldier, for example the units in Jelbania will still be using the current combat system (camouflaged outfit)

The intention of the change in standard outfits was not one of necessity. As the command explained older infantry outfits will also be kept in use but will not be produced new, the new outfit will be the only one to be actively produced with several camouflage variants also in the works.
The ministry of defense congratulated the army on this change and in addition also revealed a plan to possibly develop a new tank in cooperation with PRIME Limited, no further details were released on this plan. Deltaria has been working towards a more modern and advanced ground force for several years now after military officials called out the government on abandoning the ground force in favour of the navy.

Deltaria to pull back from Jelbania, hands over control to southern government
After several years of Deltarian involvement in Jelbania the country announces its pullback to be completed within 2 months.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

After 2 major operations and years of counter insurgency combat Deltaria has officially decided to pull back all its forces and advisors from Jelbania, only keeping control over the border region to protect Deltaria from possible attacks.In accordance with this withdrawal the ministry of foreign affairs has contacted Vanuku on the decision to withdraw forces and expects Vanuku to do the same in response.

All control has been handed over to the government of the Southern Protectorate, after years of training its military police force and setting up government structures the deltarian government hopes it will be able to combat the jelbanian insurgents itself. In all these years of deltarian involvement in jelbania around 1.231 deltarian servicemen have died while fighting insurgents and Deltaria lost a number of trucks, tanks and even a older MiG-29 jet. In exchange for this heavy toll however the military has gained valuable knowledge on combined arms operations, counter insurgency tactics and other valuabe military operations.

Experts are doubtfull that the southern government is able to stand on its own.
