Cahtice: Deltarian Foreign Investment. Its something that just a few decades ago not many people would have talked about. Deltaria was still a emerging economy and was hard at work improving its own country, let alone invest into foreign countries. Now, several years after its financial crisis, Deltarian companies are making record profits and more medium to small sized bussinesses are appearing on the horizon. This influx of creativity and bussiness has created steady revenues for both the state and the private sector. The Deltarian state, through its new reforms and a emphasize on state guided capitalism, has managed to recover from its financial crisis and is investing billions into the Deltarian economy. Companies, first starting in Deltaria, are now looking elsewhere to invest and grow. This has created a new relationship, one between Deltaria and the wider Dovani continent. Dovani rarely was the site of Deltarian investments both private and public. Only once did Deltaria truly put its efforts behind a Dovani economy, that being Temania during its civil war. Now Deltarian companies and the state have found new opportunities on the continent.

Liore is one of the nations where Deltaria is making its mark. The country, classified as a hybrid but stable regime, has slowly opened up to foreign investors over the years, directly contributing to a growing GDP and lowering unemployment in the country. Deltaria handily jumps into this new open market. PRIME, One of Terra's main car suppliers and from Deltarian origin, opened several car dealerships in Liore over the past few years and has opened two new factories, providing over 6.000 Liore citizens with a job. In addition to this it has opened the Dovani market to PRIME, with the company reporting a 120% increase in car sales on Dovani alone in the last four financial years. Besides private companies, both medium and large sized, investing into Liore the Deltarian government has also used its International Development Fund created two decades ago to invest a total of 4 billion into the economy of Liore, namely infrastructural projects and import related industries, making it easier for Deltaria and others to trade with Liore.

Another country Deltarian economic influence is growing is Medina. The country, which has one of the more protectionist economies in Dovani, has seen increased Deltarian investments mainly in its major ports, resulting in a expansion of those ports and some Deltarian influence on other fronts. The Deltarian IDF has also pumped 2 billion into Medina, mostly into projects to strengthen its major infrastructure and fascilitate the growth of the private sector there. The Deltarian company MicroWeb has also expanded its services to Medina, now providing high speed internet to the Medinese capital as one of the first in the country. MicroWeb intends on expanding its service in other parts of Dovani as well in their strategy to focus on more populous parts of Terra to maximize profits.

All this economic involvement into Dovani serves two purposes according to economists and political analysts. The first purpose is creating strong trade partners for Deltaria to export its services and products to, ensuring that economic growth remains strong and Deltarian economic influence grows in the meantime. The second purpose and one recently figured out is that of geopolitics. Dovani is in Yingdala's backyard and has historically been firmly in its sphere of influence. According to political analysts moving Deltarian economic and possibly diplomatic influence into Dovani would mean a significant headache for Yingdala. Deltaria and Yingdala have ramped up operations of all kinds in a effort to seemingly protect themselves from eachother and challenge eachothers influence on several fronts. Some analysts have called it a "new cold war" but others call it healthy competition. One thing is for sure. Deltaria and Dovani have entered a new chapter. A chapter of economic opportunity and a evolving situation.

Cahtice: In their annual report the Imperial Airforce has confirmed the succesfull delivery of 30 ordered T-20 strategic and maritime bombers to the Airforce ranks. The total order, consisting of 40 T-20 bombers, is likely to be completed late next year. The T-20 bomber, originally named the Tu-22M from Trigunian origin, is a modernized Deltarian variant of the Trigunian design. The bomber was part of a large expansion and development plan for the Imperial Airforce commenced some 5 years ago. The plan included the procurement of 300 new aircraft of different types. Four types would be "new" additions to the airforce, including the T-20. Older Trigunian designs where adapted and modernized by Deltaria in their effort to create these aircraft. The T-20 bomber and the new R-25 close-air support jets are amongst the two most important new additions to the airforce. The T-20 feels a large need by the airforce to operate long ranged and heavy punch aircraft. The T-20 is capable of firing cruise missiles from hundreds of kilometers in distance as well as being used as a carpetbomb and strategic bombing aircraft. With its fast speeds it can penetrate enemy air defences or avoid them long enough to drop its payload with adequate support, finally giving the airforce a jet to heavy bomb targets, compared to the more targetted strikes from multirole aircraft. The R-25 will be heavily used from close-air support to ground units. Currently multirole fighters of Deltaria take on the job of fire support but the R-25 is slower, more heavily armed and capable to provide close air support to ground units, allowing the mutirole jets to solemnly focus on targetted strikes and other operations.

In addition to these aircraft other more tactical aircraft are also in the procurement plan, including different types of command and control jets and new and additional transport aircraft. According to the annual report around 65% of the procurement and development plan is complete with the remaining 35% still under construction and testing. On the current pace the DDS, SATURN and PANTHER expect all new aircraft in the plan to be delivered within the next 5 years, giving the airforce large new capabilities on a grander scale.

Ȝeomorceaster: Doron Akigan Prime Minister Godric Bryan has been sentenced by federal court to a prison sentence of 4 years, automatically removing him from the position of Prime Minister. After a year of civil unrest in Doron Akigo, continued protests and a lengthy trial the now former Prime Minister has been sentenced on his corruption charges, with treason charges thrown out the window. His sentencing was met with immense outrage from the Doron Akigan people, who intensified their ressistance at the now year old "central protest" in the Doron Akigan capital. At the beginning of the protest 4.000 had gathered on the square but once Godric his sentence became public around 50.000 were estimated to be protesting.

Imperial Police, CUVO and some regional authorities alligning with Cahtice waited the protests out for over a year, only occasionally clashing with the mostly peacefull protestors. When Godric was sentenced and protests intensified however that stance changed. According to inside documents obtained by The Deltarian a order came in directly from the First Minister's office in Cahtice to "End the protests". Upon getting the order large columns of Imperial Police, Regional authorities and CUVO undercover agents smashed into protestors lines. At first it seemed they would not be able to end the protests until horse units and large watercannons eventually broke protestor lines. Over the course of 3 days authorities "cleaned up" the streets of the Doron Akigan capital resulting in major damages to bussinesses and some houses in the area. At day 4 the protesters were largely dispersed or arrested.

Despite the escalation Doron Akigan Duke Sigor has refused to disband parliament and call for new elections in the region, instead he has asked the DAIP, still the largest in regional parliament, to form a new government under a different PM. First Minister Koleno is reportedly getting impatient, postponing the Czarist Elections for "safety concerns" while many political analysts believe it is to keep Sigor in Doron Akigo so he will disband parliament. A political deadlock thus stays in place and it is unsure how the situation will resolve itself. With the ending of protests some Doron Akigans have called for violence against federal authorities. OKOB units have thus launched a surveilance operation in Doron Akigo to monitor and track those that call for violence in the region.

Cahtice: Deltarian pop singer MIRA known for her specific and different style of pop music will represent Deltaria at the next FOMAT contest. The National Broadcast Agency announced MIRA as the next FOMAT entry during a press conference in Branovice. According to the agency "MIRA is a pop icon and will represent the modern and popular music of our young Deltarian generation". MIRA, whos real name is Mira Venakova, became popular after ADRI her 4th year of success, performing at one of ADRI her many concerts and becoming a instant internet sensation. She quickly started touring herself and became almost equall to ADRI in terms of success.

Now MIRA will thus represent Deltaria at the next FOMAT contest. Deltaria has performed rather poorly in previous editions of the contest, resulting in less popularity of the contest at home. Deltarians viewing the contest has gone down by over 32%, resulting in some financial difficulties for the NBA who hopes that with MIRA at FOMAT they can achieve the first Deltarian win. If won the contest will once again be hosted by Deltaria and many former viewers are likely to come back. MIRA has announced that she will perform a song named "Diamond Rich" which is about being close and physical with a person you like. She says the song will be, "Something i personally made. Im trying to give it more of a me vibe. And implement some things in it i havent done in the past."

MIRA revealed a video clip of the song on several streaming platforms and released the song on ListenIN. The video clip is said to be similar to the eventual performance on stage although adapted for practical purposes.

Ȝeomorceaster: Doron Akigan Duke Sigor of Swaefheard has appeared in public for the first time in over a year. During the crisis in his duchy for the past 1.5 years he has been a vocal supporter of the Doron Akigan government. The federal government in Cahtice has repeatedly asked Sigor to disband regional parliament and call for new elections following the arrest and conviction of Prime Minister Godric but the rebellious Duke has continiously denied to do so. Instead, supported by nationalist Doron Akigans, regional authorities and the current majority of regional parliament, he has worked on creating a new nationalist government with the DAIP. Directly defying the Federal Government. First Minister Koleno has reportedly started to become frustrated with the stalemate and sees the creation of yet another DAIP government as a possible "destablizing factor within our Empire". To the frustration of Koleno however Czarina Maria has worked behind the scenes to aid the Doron Akigan duke, seeing Koleno his actions as a breach of the federal structure of the Empire and the rights of the established constitutional aristocracy. Maria has also been joined by former Czar Mikulas in her attempts to force Koleno in ending his actions in Doron Akigo.

Now, feeling like he is in a strong position, Duke Sigor adressed the Doron Akigan people on regional state television. In this address he talked of the Doron Akigan identity, calling on all patriotic citizens to "resist the Darali yoke" and protect their democratic and sovereign rights.

Us Doron Akigans. Bathed in blood and sacrificed. We deserve a land to call home. We have fought and bled for future generations. After centuries of oppression the Doron Akigan people want nothing more then peace and independence. Doron Akigans. Let us resist the Deltarian Yoke. Let us stand together and resist the Darali dictator Koleno. Fight like your ancestors have fought. If they dont give our historic people the independence they deserve we must strive for it ourselves.

The adress caused a lot of reactions accross the Empire. Most people in the other Duchies were outraged by the "rebellious Sigor" while especially Dissuwans and Doron Akigans praised the Duke for his oppossition to central rule and his fight for historic minority rights. Many analysts are calling the situation "critical" as tension on the streets on Doron Akigo and also other parts of the country can be felt. A pro independence group named the "League for Democracy and Freedom" that fights for Doron Akigan independence has also become much more hostile, threatening several pro Deltaria politicians in regional politics and blackmailing police chiefs that are siding with the Cahtice government. Several security specialists also view the large increase in members for the LDF as a sign for a confrontation. Protests are slowly coming up again now even in Cahtice itself, with Daralians calling for a descisive end to the situation and Doron Akigans ready to fight for independence it remains unclear what the outcome of this confrontation, called the Second Struggle, will be. First Minister Koleno has reportedly unsuccesfully met with Czarina Maria, asking, or rather ordering her, to stand up to Sigor and force an early election. She reportedly refused and, according to a palace employee, said "This is not the Empire of Koleno. Its about time you ammend your ways."

It is unclear what Koleno will do, with pressure mounting the situation is tense and could escalate quickly with even the slightest mistake.

Cahtice: Fire is raging in Deltaria. Following the controversial tv appearance of DA duke Sigor the situation in the duchy quickly deteriorated. Riots, previously squashed, appeared again in major cities and Imperial Police, now abandoned by some of their regional colleagues, have struggled to keep the situation under control. In other cities within the Empire protests have also broken out but these are largely peacefull and call for an end to the situation as it affects many Deltarian families accross the nation. First Minister Koleno has yet to be seen in public and is losing control over the situation according to some. The situation is so tense that the League for Democracy and Freedom claimed responsibility for a bomb attack earlier this week against a Imperial Police station in the Doron Akigan capital. Violence is no longer excluded by the Doron Akigan nationalists and the Federal Authorities have until now been unable to find a adequate response to the violence. As protestors and militants damage large parts of Doron Akigo in their quest for independence the regional parliament of Doron Akigo has in fact passed a motion to declare independence from Cahtice making Doron Akigo de-jure independent as of today but de-facto still under Deltarian control. Duke Sigor has been declared the HOS of the new "Grand Duchy of Doron Akigo" by the provisions in the motion.

As the Empire is struggling to stay together as the Doron Akigan crisis unfolds further the Cahtice government seems to be struggling in adequatly responding according to most. This perception is however challenged by senior corespondent Alek Miran from the Cahtice Chronicle. Miran has been studying and following Deltarian politics for quite some time and has followed Koleno and his government since their installment nearly 12 years ago.

Koleno has, from the moment he took office, used his experience as a intelligence officer and mayor to consolidate power in every single way. He has directly challenged the Czarina, removed almost any internal oppossition from within his party and has strengthened federal agencies and basically made them answer directly to him instead of the senate. I think the current and second crisis in Doron Akigo is a backlash of the Doron Akigan population against this centralization and against Koleno his authoritarian style of rule. But the thing is, the silence of Koleno is unusual. Ive been following him for over 12 years and he never lets a volatile and dangerous situation either play itself out or create further problems for the government. Everyone seems to be turning against him, from the aristocracy to the Doron Akigan government and populace. But even with the loss of support i find it hard to believe he is merely sitting back and letting his own demise happen. I think he is planning something. And i think its such a drastic measure hes planning that it has required his full attention for the past few months. Its a dangerous situation and i sincerely hope those now defying the federal government actually know what kind of a person Koleno is

Said Miran. Some developments seem to slightly confirm his believes. Several reporters and people on social media have reported men in unmarked uniforms moving around the Doron Akigan capital while in other parts of the country such as Naban, Cahtice, Balgrad and Branovice Imperial Police units and unmarked, presumably CUVO, agents have been seen on the streets with heavy gear and armoured vehicles, not only patrolling but also positioning themselves accross the afformentioned cities. No one knows what these movements may entail but if Miran proves to be right we could very well see the actions Koleno has been planning for during this crisis.

Cahtice: The Empire is no more. Earlier suspicions have been proved right. Over the last week a series of events has ended the Grand Empire and ushered in a new era, likely dominated by current First Minister Koleno. At the beginning of the week men in unmarked uniforms placed themselves accross the nation, mostly situated near regional seats of government and police stations. These men, later proving to be a mix of Imperial Police, Military Police and CUVO units, didnt indentify themselves and mostly stayed on patrol in these areas. 4 days ago suddenly the internet was unreachable for over 94% of the country with the internet infrastructure of Deltaria seemingly blocked. While at first the government released a statement blaming the internet blackout on problems at MicroWeb and central data centers many quickly began to suspect that the OKOB cyber agency was behind the blackout. Then, just a day after, a unprecendented situation unfolded itself. In the depths of the night explosions of flashbang grenades and intense shouting could be heard near the Imperial Palace of cahtice. The same was heard in other cities, mostly concentrated around the palaces of the different royals.

When the dust settled it became clear what had happened. According to unconfirmed reports Czarina Maria was arrested by IDI and CUVO agents. The same happened to Duke Dusan, who was with her at the time, and former Czar Mikulas. Peter von Thaller managed to escape capture when IDI agents raided his compound, fleeing to neighbouring Kalopia with several of his household guards. These raids had a clear intention. It was Koleno his first step in eliminating the rebellious leaders within the now presumably former Empire. The aristocracy had been in his way since the start of the Doron Akigan crisis and while at first he supported the monarchy, seeing it as a stable institution to give himself legitimacy, it had now become a large obstacle to him remaining in power. Duke Sigor of Doron Akigo was also raided but, with help from nationalist sympathizers, managed to flee into neighbouring Jelbania. Besides the raids on the Deltarian aristocracy raids were also conducted on over 300 locations, all designated as "terrorist cells". These locations include known LDF hideouts in Doron Akigo, oppossition party offices in Darali and Ushalande as well as several local police stations suspected of harbouring "anti-deltarian sentiments".

Notably the Deltarian military has stayed silent in this entire ordeal. Not a single military unit has sided with either side and the entire military has instead acted like nothing is happening, continuing their usual patrols and operations. Instead it seems the intelligence and security agencies are the main forces behind what many now call the "Koleno Coup". The Imperial Directorate of Intelligence, normally only focussed on foreign operations, has reportedly dedicated several resources and agents to the operations. The CUVO, which was expanded in recent years and is now a strong counter-intelligence and internal security agency, has been the main driver behind operations and has been aided by the OKOB in shutting down the internet and tracking potential targets. The Imperial Police, the large federal police force within the Empire, has been the main "boots on the ground" unit for maintaining order. According to insiders the absence of the military has a reason. Koleno reportedly asked military generals to commit to the coup but they refused, stating that "The Deltarian Military isnt making the same mistake again. We will not interfere in political matters. No matter what the outcome of coming events the military will support the official government of Deltaria and do what it was intended to do, protect Deltarians". Thus Koleno instead convinced the military to stay on the sidelines, using his vast connections within the intelligence community to stage the coup instead.

3 of the 5 royals have thus now been arrested and Federal forces have spread accross the nation. Simultaniously the Imperial Senate suddenly proposed a new constitution, presumably created by Koleno his government. This new constitution would transform the country into the former Federation with some minor changes. Doron Akigo and Dissuwa would, in this new constitution, be granted full autonomy. This is a provision that was first not in the new constitution according to inside sources but, after discussions with his advisors, Koleno put it in believing that as long as the two largest minority groups within the country can mostly govern themselves the new Federation would be kept together. In the new constitution the monarchy and the duchies are abolished in favour of a republican and federalist system. The new to be created office of Federal President will gain extensive powers within the new state and it is assumed that because of this Koleno will assume the office himself, making him HOS and HOG and giving him extensive authority to lead the nation. To prepare for the upcomign transition federal agents and several now collaborating regional police agencies have started to crackdown on the remaining unrest, it is expected that due to the collapse of most regional governments and the likely upcoming election in the new Federation the situation will quickly become calmer. The new coonstitution is likely to pass rather quickly with most senators already pledging their support. Koleno has stated a new election will be scheduled after its passing.

It is unclear what the faith of the former Czarina and the other royals will be but one thing is clear, Koleno his move has payed off and his power will likely be further consolidated, making him the undisputed leader of Deltaria for possibly years to come.

Cahtice: As many political analysts had expected Vladislav Koleno has been elected Federal President of the new Deltarian Federation. After the dissolution of the Empire and the creation of the Federation Koleno, who is believed to now have a total monopoly on power, ran for President with no real oppossition. The sole oppossition party within the Federation, the DKP, supported Koleno in his bid for the presidency, likely caused by Koleno threatening to ban the party if they didnt. Despite his election win Koleno his party, the KDU, did poorly in the elections for the Federal Assembly, only winning 97 seats out of a 420. This means the DKP oppossition now holds the dominant position in the Federal Assembly and many wonder if changes need to happen within the party to become more appealing to the public. Koleno did not seem concerned about the bad performance of his party. Inner circles suggests that Koleno even actively encouraged people to vote on the DKP, making it seem like a fair election took place. While the DKP holds absolute legislative authority now with Koleno elected president the cabinet is likely to remain in place with all the ministers from the former Imperial Cabinet. Koleno has stated he does not plan to propose a different cabinet, meaning the executive will remain in KDU and thus Koleno hands.

As Koleno is elected president the situation in the rest of the country normalizes. Federal Police and SUVO units (Formerly the Imperial Police and CUVO) have arrested the last of the rioters and local elections in both the republics and regions have seen new governments being installed. In Doron Akigo, as a show of unity, newly elected DASL president Aoric Frideric Rekitach has proposed a cabinet of DAIP and DASL, formerly political rivals, to together form the new republican government. The regional governments of the two republics have also started preparations for the ratification of their own constitutions and with autonomy restored the situation seems to be calming.

The transition into a federal presidential republic did cause several agencies to be renamed. Namely the Imperial Directorate of Intelligence being renamed into the State Directorate for Intelligence, the Imperial Office of Internal Defence to State Office of Internal Defence, the Imperial Police to Federal Police and more. With the renamings of these institutions underway and the foundations of the new federation layed out normalcy is also likely returning to the political and international scene of Deltaria. The State Cabinet is likely proposing its first budget to the Federal Assembly sometime in the coming months with rumours of a increased emphasize on state investment and military expenditure. The distractions Deltaria has faced in the last 2 years have been used as a opportunity by countries like Yingdala, which has launched tests for new weaponry likely to counter Deltarian weapons and equipment. A increase in military expenditure and a expansion of the Deltarian economy and diplomatic power must, according to Koleno, ensure that Deltaria remains the foremost global power and can, "defend itself and its allies from any unprovoked agression."
