Cahtice: The General Ground Staff has offically created a dedicated airborne division for the first time in modern Deltarian military history. Until now both the Airforce and Army both had units specialized in airborne warfare but not to a divisional standard. While the majority of the Deltarian army is organized into brigades this new division will have a full division strength and will be the first division only consisting of paratroopers and airborne equipment. The division, which will be named the "1st Imperial Airborne Division" will consist of more then 20.000 paratroopers all subdivided into the brigade structure that most of the army uses with the division as a overlaying structure. The division will combine already existing paratrooper units in both the airforce and army and combine them into this division. All airborne equipment, such as portable radio's, specialized weaponry and other equipment will also be transfered to the new division led by major general Eduard Haušild. According to the MoW and GGS the creation of this division is important for a efficient and quick to deploy paratroop force that can work closely with Deltarian ZNZS special forces and other specialized units in quick and descisive operations.

The creation of this new division has also prompted the GGS and MoW to push forward a project that had been on the shelves for long, the development of a small, light but strong airborne tank capable of being dropped from aircraft quick and in large numbers while being light enough to traverse harsh terrain and keep up with the paratroopers it intends to support. This new project, dubbed "Project-214", intends on developing such a ground vehicle that can not only be used by the airborne forces but also by other specialized units within the Armed Forces. According to sources in the GGS the new vehicle will be classified as a "light tank destroyer" capable of amphibious operations and quick deployment missions. It will be smaller and far less protected then regular Zeca tanks but will be faster and able to be deployed in large numbers in support of specialized units. The end goal is making the new vehicle capable of traversing harsh terrain with relative ease, allowing it to adequately support units on the ground where normal tanks wouldnt be able to reach. The state owned Darali Defense Systems and several smaller private partners have been contracted to further develop "Project-214". It is unclear when the design phase is complete and testing can possible begin. Turtle Bay: Deltarian companies in Keymon. Their presence and influence may be overlooked in the island nation itself but it is certainly there. Despite the clear differences between the two governments of these respective countries and previous tensions Deltarian influences with Keymon grow, particularly in its economy. Just a few decades ago Deltarian economic activity on Keymon was almost zero, caused by decades of increased tensions and Deltarian companies being mostly in state hands. With the liberalization of the Deltarian markets however this began to change. Combined with Keymon rebuilding after a devastating civil war Deltarian private companies saw a opportunity. A opportunity they gladly exploited. It began with the largest Deltarian film company Hvezda Productions expanding operations to Keymon. The company took over a small local studio and began producing commercials for Keymonite TV. It also organized and produced several entertainment TV shows which quickly got it the necessary involvement in Keymonite markets to expand. They took over two more small studio's and formed one larger Keymonite cadet studio: Keymon Film United. This new subdivision started producing major tv shows in the country and began producing small movies in the Keymonite language. Other entertainment companies like Echo Games started to also enter the entertainment markets of Keymon resulting in Deltarian companies becoming one of the more influential outside entertainment companies in Keymon, owning over 30% of the enterainment market share within Keymon with video games, movies, tv shows and music streaming services spreading all accross the islands.

As Deltarian entertainment companies took large chunks of the Keymonite markets another industry in Keymon was starting to be single handidly created by a Deltarian company, Dissuwan Petrol. Dissuwan Petrol, a public-private company originating from Deltaria, had create two large oil processing fascilities in Deltaria which processed large amounts of oil from Vascania to be sold to third parties. To expand its operations DP looked elsewhere eventually stumbling upon Keymon. Its central location would be excellent to export the DP products accross the globe and the unemployment created due to the civil war formed a large workpool for DP to pick employees from. These factors prompted Dissuwan Petrol to construct both a major oil refinery near Jamestown as well as their first large natural gass processing fascility near Turtle Bay, creating over 10.000 jobs in Keymon alone and creating a new industry on the island, a industry that previously wasnt present there. The construction and opening of these fascilities created lots of economic activity in surrounding communities as well with DP now owning large chunks of the oil refining and gass processing sector on the island as the first one to bring it there.

Deltarian companies have over recent decades gained traction and influence in the Keymonite economy, something some Keymonite politicians are not happy about. What is clear is that Deltarian economic influence in Keymon has grown even further in recent years as the country's economic troubles have given Hvezda, Echo Games, DP and other smaller Deltarian companies opportunities to expand their operations and influence and further cement themselves into the Keymonite economy.

Cahtice: SATURN and the Imperial Airforce have concluded two years of extensive testing on the new Project-F multirole fighter now officially named the R-33M. The R-33M was constructed over the course of a year after a development cycle of over 8 years in total. The first prototype of the aircraft was finished two years ago and began testing almost immediately. It tested all its systems, its carrying capacity, its reliability and much more. First it was tested during an airshow near Cahtice, showing off its Supermaneuverability in a series of performances to the crowd present. During the remainder of its two years of testing it tested flight with no load, flight with full payload, it tested all its advanced systems including the few fifth generation systems on board as well as testing its bombing and air to air combat capabilities. While the R-33M could stand its own in any dogfight thrown at it one weakness was discovered, as the aircraft was not designed to be stealthy and instead derived from the R-27 and other Deltarian aircraft it was detected by Radar from long ranges, making it prone to be attacked by long range missiles. To counter this weakness SATURN has developed a new radar system for the aircraft in the hopes of detecting the enemy aircraft or missile at a similar distance of itself being detected. According to early reports the radar does perform better then previous radar but doesnt entirely take away the stealth weakness of the R-33M. While its air to air capabilities are good but not impressive its bombing capabilities are, according to both pilots and SATURN, excellent and capable of providing heavy bombing support in various forms for ground and naval forces. The new Pancar Anti Ship missile is also capable of being mounted on the R-33M, making it deadly in both air to ground and air to sea combat. The R-33M also possesses modern electronic warfare systems allowing it to jam enemy comms and other electronic countermeasures if necessary.

Testing concluded last week and the final recommendations on the aircraft have been passed on to SATURN to finalize in the design and commence production. While some improvements need to be made overall the Imperial Airforce is reportedly happy with the performance of the aircraft. Where the MF-1 was a dissapointment due to its limited capabilities the airforce already calls the R-33M a "true multirole fighter" capable of both air combat and support missions and possessing advanced features that make it on par with other modern multirole jets out there. SATURN has announced that a carrier based version of the R-33M will also be developed during the construction phase of the regular variant which will be named the R-33C. This carrier variant will include systems that allow it to be efficiently transported on the Nemec class carrier as well as having a larger enphasize on its engine and a increased payload capacity, removing some of its electronic warfare capabilities in return. The Imperial Airforce has reportedly asked the MoW to order a initial 150 R-33M jets once the program is in full swing and the order is likely to pass through the senate without much problem. The Imperial Airforce has stated that once the ordered R-33M jets are delivered (likely to be within the next 7 years) they will retire 100 of the current 200 MF-1 jets, using the remaining 100 solemnly for training purposes.

Mesul: Deltarian production company Hvězda has won, for the first time in its existence, the price for best motion picture on the Academy Awards, the most pretigious contest in the film world. The movie with which they won was "A Star will Shine" a story about a singer falling into despair and addiction while he tries to rebound with the help of a young amateur singer. The movie was credited for its "unique and touching story" a story that, according to the jury, was a story that many on terra could relate to, showing the struggles of life which dont always end in happyness. Other prices won by the movie were that of best song, for their title song "Hollow" and the price for best actor, won by Deltarian actor Marián Švec who was until now rather unknown but has thanks to his performance become an icon globally. Petrov, CEO of Hvězda, stated that this is a landmark for the company and, "a testiment for the hard work and dedication the crew put into this movie and a confirmation that this is a story that grips not just the boundaries of the imagination but also the harsh reality of everyday life."

When the movie won the award for best song Marián and Eva were asked to sing the song for the audience which they did, giving a spectacular performance showing the love between the two characters and possibly the two actors. On social media people were ecstatic calling the performance, "the performance that saved the year" with some even saying, "Eva and Marián arent just playing characters that are in love, i would be suprised if they arent in love for real." The publicity of winning best motion picture as well as the large media campaign launched for the movie have given Hvězda one of their biggest successes in years, with the movie costing around 40 million to produce, distribute and market and the movie itself as of now already cashing in 240 million at the box office with the movie still in theaters. According to pundits "A Star will Shine" is one of the largests suprise hits in years and many wonder what project Hvězda will embark upon after their success.

Cahtice: The Deltarian National Broadcasting Agency has announced that it will send popular Deltarian DJ MAC to Fomat-III to be held in 2.5 years time. MAC is known mostly amongst Deltarian youth for making catchy dance songs and performing mostly during large festivals such as the Branovice FestiVista festival. MAC has mostly been active within Deltaria, not moving his carreer outside of the country as of yet. According to the NBA DJ MAC is a, "icon amongst Deltarian youth, a icon that needs to be given a international stage to show the global community what Deltarian youth listens to." according to the Agency the intend of sending MAC to FOMAT-III isnt to win but instead to display a new rising star within Deltarian music culture. Despite this official stance it is clear the NBA hopes to win the next edition of FOMAT with MAC, using the reemergence of dance music and a reportedly, "massive performance on stage" to their advantage.

MAC has already revealed his song in a catchy video earlier today. While not receiving many views as of yet the song has received two million streams on ListenIN, not as much as his predecessor Richard Kriz but still enough to say that MAC his song, named "Around Terra", will have a shot at doing well during the FOMAT-III contest held in Kalistan. According to MAC the performance on stage will revolve around "a lot of dancing" and will show of the many cultures around terra with Dovani, Artanian, Majatran and Seleyan culture passing by during the act in the form of culture specific dances and decor changes. MAC stated the song is about "our terra. We stand together. And this song will go "Around Terra" so to speak".

Cahtice: PRIME Automobiles, known worldwide as one of the top car manufacturers, will compete at the first Formula-1 race in centuries. The team of the company, simply known as PRIME, will compete at the first race to be held in Romula on the Autodrome Nazionale di Romula track. According to PRIME driver Alan Palmer, to start on position 10, he is confident of the capabilities of both the car and the team, "we have been training quite extensively, the car is good, reliable. I must say it isnt as powerfull as others ive driven in but its reliable and has good grip on the track, im confident we can achieve a good result in the end." Deltarian driver Luděk Fišer, the only Deltarian in the race, also drives for PRIME and says he will, "Do what i can to ensure a good result. I know everyone is watching and ill fight till the bitter end."

The race will be a contentious one, with most positioned just one second from eachother at the start. Testing and early driving already showed the PRIME car isnt the fastest but is rather reliable, not breaking down once during its testing and positioning rounds and giving consistent performance all around. It remains to be seen if the drivers can work with the car to achieve good results against faster and more powerfull engines out there. Palmer will start from position 10 while Luděk Fišer starts from 14, a middle ground suitable for suprise takeovers early on.

Cahtice: Darali Defense Systems, the state owned military ground equipment company, has revealed more details on Project-214, a project to develop a light/amphibious tank destroyer. The project was started in response to the creation of a dedicated air division for the Grand Imperial Army. Such a division, according to higher ups in the army and high command, needed a vehicle capable of providing anti tank and heavy gun support in various types of terrain. Such a vehicle would have to be light, easily transportable but able to kick a punch, making it capable of being dropped from an airplane if necessary to use it as early support for airborne units. Despite this clear reason for developing such a vehicle other units within the army and navy, such as the Deltarian Marines and ZNZS special forces, would also have to be able to be supported by the new vehicle, making it a quickly deployable tool for the more elite forces of Deltaria to use as early on support. This new project, which was dubbed Project-214, has now entered a new chapter and phase with the design mostly finalized and the DDS announcing it is ready to produce the first prototype to be tested once complete.

The DDS didnt develop the design on its own. Private partners like PRIME Limited, the military component of PRIME International, helped in designing the vehicle together with the DDS using their previous experiences in developing vehicles used in rough terrain. PRIME Limited will however not be involved in the production of the Project-214 vehicle which will be fully in the hands of the DDS. A full name for the vehicle hasnt been designated yet but other details are slowly coming out such as the intend on giving the vehicle a 125 mm smoothbore gun, capable of taking on modern tanks. To make up for such a large gun the armour on the vehicle will be significantly weaker then that on regular tanks, making it more agile and mobile but making it easy to destroy if hit. While other details are also slowly leaking not everything is known about the vehicle yet with most major details likely to be released or uncovered once the first prototype finished construction early next year.

Cahtice: A effort by the Imperial Government has come to fruition today. Led by finance minister Alojz Komár the Imperial Government led a effort together with the Central Bank of Deltaria to form a new, and the first, Sovereign Wealth Fund of Deltaria. This fund, named the "Imperial Wealth Fund", is a effort between the government and central bank and several large Deltarian banks. The fund, which will be funded by commodity exports largely from the large manufacturing sector of Deltaria, will be managed and controlled by the Central Bank which will "safeguard" and accumulate the funds going into the new SWF. According to Finance minister Komár the Imperial Wealth Fund is important, mainly because it will allow the government to have a large fund during crisis or vital programs that it can rely on, making the likelyhood of the suffering from the Great Recession repeating itself far less then it currently is. The fund is also seen as a safeguard to protect economic development and progress and make sure that the vast wealth currently being created by a increase in exports wont be lost to costly programs in a quick timespan. The deal, signed today between the finance minister Komár, the director of the central bank Tibor Láska and the directors of the three largest Deltarian banks, has the goal of accumulating 500 billion in funds within the Imperial Wealth Fund in a span of 25 years. To achieve this the largest banks and the government will invest a initial 2 billion into the fund, which will be used to invest in the stock market, real estate and other non-commodities. The hope is that the 500 billion goal will be reached in 15 years but a timespan of 25 years has been designated to allow for a 10 year delay of the accumulation within the fund if any setbacks occur.

According to Finance minister Komár the fund will make the Deltarian state more resilient to a major crisis and allows it to, "continue on its path of economic development and progress while ensuring that we learn from past mistakes and prepare the economy for times where it may not look as bright." The fact that the fund is managed by the central bank is also a plus according to the minister as it ensures, "the government wont be able to use the fund for anything it wishes to and the Central Bank will keep it under strict management, making sure we only use the fund when absolutely necessary." Upon the signing of the deal the IWF was formally created and the first 2 billion of the fund is already being invested in it. Economists seem positive about such economic developments, believing Deltaria is learning from its Great Recession and preparing to create not only a large economy, but a stable and resilient one.
