Negotiations between Deltaria and Vanuku reach breakthrough
Deltaria has asked its allies to pull back their navies, mutual agreement to return naval assets to their ports

As tensions seemed to grow exponentially and foreign navies where on their way to help the FDSR it has been reported that a breakthrough in negotiations has been reached.
Deltaria and Vanuku have come to a agreement that neither power shall deploy its naval assets and that they will both pull back any currently deployed naval forces. Deltaria has also asked its allies to turn back their navies to their respective ports and they have done so according to several news outlets.

The crisis that many call the "Majatran Sea Crisis" may not be completely over but both sides have agreed to start talks in the Free Republic of Jelbania in order to resolve this matter peacefully.

We still await a reaction from Istalia and Vanuku on recent developments.

Deltarian government launches new space agency called the FSA
The Federal Space Agency or Federální Kosmická Agentura in Alazinder will start its first probe developments in the upcoming months (

As Deltaria is looking for ways to increase both its prestige and knowledge the deltarian federal government has announced the creation of the Federal Space Agency.
This Agency will be tasked with "giving Deltaria new knowledge over the universe and discovering things that could help Deltarian citizens in their day to day life"

The FSA will get a budget of around 25 billion DTE a year, this number can increase on the discretion of the president. The FSA will also be fully controlled by the chairman and thus the president himself.
According to a press release the FSA will start development on a space probe right away and they expect to have a prototype ready at the end of next year.

Former Grand Governor Mrázek sentenced to 35 years in prison
The commissary of public affairs announced Mrázek to be found guilty of treason

After a anticipated trial which was almost certain to move in favour of the government former Grand Governor Mrázek has been sentenced to 35 years of prison for treason.
The former governor was imprisoned 2 years ago after the socialist takeover by former party members. They proceeded to prosecution under charges of treason and today the verdict was 35 years.

The former Grand Governor will however not be imprisoned in a normal prison. He will be put under house arrest in a mansion just outside of the capital guarded by a permanent garisson of soldiers. It is expected that all former cabinet members will be freed by the new government as part of a deal with Mrázek

Deltaria announces the creation of a new global military alliance, leaves the MUN
The "Coalition of Revolutionary Socialist States" or C.A.R.S.S will be a global socialist military alliance, deltaria start procedures to leave the MUN

As it becomes more evident that the MUN is falling apart the Deltarian socialist government has announced that it will withdraw from the organization as well. The new government already saw the MUN as an organization of the old deltarian order and believed it to be to strict on its members. Now that the country will leave the organization it has a clear opportunity to make something "stronger then the MUN" as members of the Deltarian military call it.

The Coalition of Revolutionary Socialist States or C.A.R.S.S has been established by the FDSR as a global military alliance solemnly for socialist states accros terra. C.A.R.S.S will be a military alliance in which member states cooperate in joint military exercises and organizational operations. The member states will also have a building in the Deltarian capital where the ambassadors of member states can discuss certain issues and goals. All C.A.R.S.S member states will also be subjected to a mutual defense agreement, if one of the nations is attacked the others are obligated to support them.

President Válek responds to death of Deltarian nobleman: "A tragic death"
Válek responded on the death of a deltarian nobleman in Istalia

After the news of the death of Lukáš Pospíchal the deltarian president quickly responded by saying that "This is a very tragic death that could have been avoided"

President Válek also issued a statement that said the following.

Even though our government may not have been in agreement with some of the political views of mr Pospíchal we are still saddened by his death and wish his family the best in the upcoming period of difficulty. The Deltarian government also condemns the communist sympathizers that refused to rescue my Pospíchal since he was a deltarian citizen and should be treated that way. Under no condition shall the Deltarian government support such a heartless action even though the people that committed it may sympathize with us. We thank the Istalian government for their condemnation and will also reach out to mr Pospíchal's family to aid them when necessary

Many political journalists where shocked by the statement from the Válek government considering it has always been rather hostile towards the old nobility of Deltaria. Is the FDSR trying to reshape its image in some way?

Deltaria to cut all ties to Zardugal
"This unprovoked agression to revive an era long gone cannot stand without consequence" said Federal President Válek

It did not come as a major suprise, the warmongering imperialists of Zardugal decided to attack their neighbour Cobura. According to initial reports the Zardic military has already moved into Coburan territory with a sizeable force.
President Válek responded to the situation by saying "Zardugal has gone a step to far, this unprovoked agression to revive an era long gone cannot stand without serious consequence"

Immediately after the president's reponse the Deltarian government announced that it would break all diplomatic ties it had with Zardugal, before this was done the deltarian government called upon the country to stop their military action in Cobura before the situation would "spiral out of control"

The Deltarian ministry of defense has stated that it will not increase its presence in the majatran lake as of yet in order to make sure zardugal gets a fair chance at giving in to the call for peace.
International observers have their doubts and believe Zardugal will not adhere to the demand for peace. We will keep a close eye on the situation.

Deltarian company RedLock signs deal with the government of Lourenne
Lourenne will be buying the RedLock software called the "CrySafe" program for their government systems

After some negotiating and the recent trade mission of deltarian economic diplomats to lourenne the deltarian software company RedLock has signed a big deal to deliver thousands of CrySafe programs for the government systems of lourenne.

CrySafe is a program that, when it is opened, creates a "safe environment" on the pc it is installed on. Shutting down the internet, adding additional firewall layers and creating data folders that can be used to store highly sensitive data, all this to ensure the sensitive information that comes in on government systems can be safely processed and stored.

While RedLock will deliver the CrySafe software it is the company called "Technologie Astéria" that will maintain and update the software for the government of lourenne. The TA company will be given basic knowledge of the program so it can update it for an undisclosed period of time. These updates will have to ensure that the software remains reliable and easy to run.

It is estimated that RedLock will get a total of 125 million DTE in total for the deal while the TA company will receive an estimated 11 million LFR a year for updating and maintaining CrySafe.

Deltarian government releases yearly economic statistics, announces creation of "specialised budgets"

After some minimal effects of the embargo's by istalia and vanuku and other minor setbacks the deltarian economy is on the rise again. Following a sharp decline last year deltarian companies have now reported major profits after deals with foreign governments and better peformance on domestic markets. Companies like RedLock and PRIME International are doing well on the foreign market while the arms industry and agricultural market are doing well on the domestic front.

With these succeses for deltarian companies in the recent year it didnt come as a suprise for economists that the deltarian economy showed signs of recovering from its losses.
Yesterday the Deltarian government released the economic peformance figures for last year, showing great signs of recovery with a growthrate of 2,6% compared to 1,5% during the growthcrash a year earlier. Unemployment figures have also been lowered to a promising 7% because of arms companies and primarily PRIME hiring more workers to cover the production quota's. Inflation still remains stagnant with a inflation rate of 3,4%.

It is expected by many that the economy will grow and recover even further with the Selucian government announcing it will strengthen ties with Deltaria

The government also announced the creation of "specialised budgets". These budgets will have a total worth of 10 billion DTE a year and will consist out of 5 budgets in total. One budget will focus on development of industry, one on the efficiency of agriculture, one on efficiency of ports like Sfântul Sângeorz, one on reforming and expanding the finance ministry to ensure efficient collection of taxes and payout of subsidies and one budget on the improvement of rural roads.

All these budgets will get an equall share of the 10 billion DTE available. The government told The Deltarian that it aims at improving important systems and sectors in the deltarian economy that can boost economic output and efficiency as well as improving access for rural communities to urban ones.
