Cahtice: For decades it was the dream of many deltarian regimes. The socialist regime attempted to aquire a nuclear device for itself but failed and even lied about it. Many many more regimes in the past tried to achieve the ultimate goal of aquiring nuclear weaponry but failed to reach that goal. For the last decade the czarist imperial regime of Deltaria has put immense effort into its nuclear program, dedicating large amounts of time and resources to this immense project costing the deltarian economy over 100 billion LOD in a span of 10 years. Now, after all the hard work and dedication of deltarian scientists and military personel the Grand Empire of Deltaria has finally aquired its very own hydrogen bomb. In a official press release by the Imperial Ministry of War and Imperial Ministry of Scientific Development they state that Deltaria has finally aquired a "capable hydrogen bomb"

The bomb is reported to be of the same strength as the nuclear test of the bomb they tested in the majatran sea which was around 2000 terrajoules strong. This bomb that the Deltarian state has aquired is a normal hydrogen bomb meaning that it is not mounted on a missile of any kind but must instead be dropped by plane. This however is no problem as the Imperial Airforce has around 5 TU-160 supersonic heavy bombers at their disposal, capable of carrying and dropping the hydrogen bomb. The IMW stated that Deltaria posseses "10 hydrogen bombs" at the moment, however experts refused to believe this statement, stating themselves that Deltaria likely only possesses "1 or 2 capable hydrogen devices". Even if this is the case it is still a landmark achievement which will dramatically shift the balance of power in Majatra and mark a new age for Deltarian foreign policy. Despite the aquisition of the hydrogen bomb the Imperial Ministry of Scientific Development stated that it will not sit idly as it will continue "the full development of the deltarian missile program" with the aim of developing a nuclear warhead capable to be mounted upon a missile. This missile is also being developed as Deltaria hopes to be able to create a Intercontinental Missile to put its warheads on.

Many across Majatra and Terra as a whole now watch with doubt and fear on what may happen next as Vanuku has stated in their parliament that they want to "annihalate" deltaria through nuclear weapons. Now that deltaria has aquired its own bomb will Vanuku continue its rhetoric? Or will both nations be able to prevent a nuclear war?

Cahtice: "Under his rule Deltaria rose from the ashes" said Vêroslav during his coronation as Czar of Deltaria. For the last 2 years Deltaria had been under the de-facto rule of Vêroslav as his father, Czar Miroslav the First, had been suffering from deteriorating health for some time. But earlier this week, after many deltarians celebrated as the country had finally obtained WMD's, the 74 year old Czar died of complications to cancer. His son, Crown Prince Vêroslav, was informed first knowing that he would be the new Czar of Deltaria. Later in the day the news was made public and an entire nation began to mourn. Churches ringed their bells, thousands took to the streets in marches for the late Czar and all accross Deltaria people hung the deltarian flag out of their homes.

They saw Miroslav as the father of their beloved Deltaria. The man that brought deltaria from its weak years to a new period of unprecedented prestige and expansion. While under Miroslav many benefits where cut to pay for a larger and more well maintained military many deltarian citizens where not bothered as they saw this as their contribution to the "greatness of deltaria" as state media began to portrait over the years. As long as deltarian citizens were kept fed and relatively well off, with jobs for most and more, the deltarian citizens would be satisfied. With the military constantly upgrading and changing many citizens began working in the defense industry and with this many deltarian citizens had a job with a average wage, causing them to thank Miroslav himself for this development.

The death of "their" first Czar is a heavy blow to many. However the new Czar, Vêroslav, has many traits similar to his father. He is however more emotional in his decisionmaking and more radical in achieving his goals as can be seen with the recent nuclear test in the majatran sea. Many wonder if Vêroslav will be as beloved as his father was and if he will manage to further Deltaria's ambitions.

Deltaria: Upon the coronation of Vêroslav the 1st the situation within Deltaria began to worsen. Its economy began to feel the effects of the economic sanctions imposed on it by the international community, despite its attempts to limit the damage, and the food supply for its citizens began to dwindle, causing a shortage in some more luxurious items and for some even basic food necessities.

With the deltarian people becoming increasingly worried and Vêroslav already initially not being as beloved as his father once was the young Czar began to panic. Seeing his Empire destabilizing from within and isolated internationally he, according to his advisors, saw no other option then to "expand deltaria's borders and show the people that our beloved empire reigns supreme". After being given the order to draft invasion plans against the nation of Jakania the Imperial Strategic High Command of deltaria drew up extensive plans which lasted for a month before they were finished. Now, several hours ago, the Imperial Armed Forces launched their suprise attack against the Turjak Republic without declaring war. Imperial Airforce bombers and multirole fighters launched a big bombardment campaign against strategic military targets of the Turjak Armed Forces, destroying several airfields, communication bases and supply depots. During this bombing campaign the Grand Imperial Army, spearheaded by its new mechanized brigades, launched a lighting ground invasion of the Deltarian neighbour. Suprising Jakanian border units and killing several hundred soldiers while at the same time capturing large quantities of Jakanian territory.

The Deltarian navy send a large part of its carrier fleet, including one of its Nemec carriers and one of its Yegorovich carriers with their strike groups into the open ocean on their way to the Naval base in Dankuk and bases in Gaduridos likely in anticipation for a international response. As it currently stands it looks like the Deltarian Armed Forces are smashing through Jakanian defenses without any major problems as its air campaign is crippling the Jakanian airforce and supply capabilities and its lightning ground invasion is overwhelming Jakanian troops so quick that they are unable to reorganize. A international response has not yet been seen but many expect this to be the start of another majatran war. Sattelites have reported deltarian troop movement at the Jelbanian border as well, confirming fears that it may also invade its Jelbic neighbour.

Jakania: After the suprise invasion of Deltarian forces against the Turjak Republic of Jakania the world responded with outrage and many nations from Majatra and beyond pledged to support the Turjaks in their struggle against the deltarian onlaught. However, this pledge of help has come to late, as news of the official defeat of the Republic has reached global media. The initial invasion around a month ago basically crippled the Turjak forces as its entire military infrastructure was bombed to pieces within the first 3 days of the invasion, its airforce decimated and its aerial defence capabilities caught of guard and destroyed, all within just 3 days of the invasion. This pathed the way for deltarian ground units to freely operate without having to worry about Jakanian aircraft. The Imperial Airforce was also free to roam the skies, having achieved total air dominance and being able to provide targetted air support for the ground troops.

On the ground the advance was therefor achieved with immense speed. Armoured columns of the deltarian imperial army, mostly consisting of Mechanized brigades and armoured units, stormed through hastily erected defences and managed to keep Turjak forces on the run constantly, inflicting heavy casualties as Turjak troops were not able to properly defend themselves. Within just one week more then half of Jakania had been conquered by Deltarian forces and the Jakanian army was at the brink of collapse as only its most trained forces near the capital where able to properly mount a defense. But, after 3 weeks of intense fighting the Turjak government was finally confirmed to have left the country, likely heading towards Vanuku to rule in exile. Upon hearing the news the Turjak commander of the Armed Forces who was already prepared to surrender due to heavy loss in men and territory, did so, officially surrendering the Turjak Republic to the Grand Empire of Deltaria. Almost half of the remaining army however refused to surrender and instead flet into the mountainous areas around the country likely preparing to continue their struggle there, taking with them thousands of rifles and some anti vehicle weaponry.

Once major fighting in the country had stopped the Imperial Military Strategic Command, with permission of Czar Vêroslav, proceeded in setting up a new administrative entity encompassing the entirety of Jakania named the "Viceroyalty of Jakania" which will be actively led by current Deltarian Imperial Viceroy Rezek. The new Viceroyalty will maintain autonomy over internal matters but will be fully dependent upon Deltaria for both its economy, foreign affairs and military as it is not allowed to host its own military and will have to rely on its to be established police force and the deltarian military for its protection. It will be led by Vojtěch Rezek, current Imperial Viceroy for the emperor who will be the absolute ruler of the new viceroyalty, answerable only to the Czar of Deltaria.
Deltarian forces in Jakania have already begun to create defensive positions in strategic locations accross the country and have constructed several military bases near important areas. By directive of the Chairman of Imperial Command the new Viceroy has also installed martial law so that the military may be allowed to actively search and arrest Turjak citizens if needed. Due to the martial law the military has also setup checkpoints in several Turjak cities to monitor traffic and suspicious activity.

DELTARIAN ARMY COMMITS ATROCITIES
NSFW

During the invasion some have spread rumours about deltarian forces committing atrocities accross Jakania. With some accounts stating that Imperial Forces massacred and then burned an entire village consisting of 100 Turjaks as they believed the village was actively helping the Turjak army in the search for Deltarian spies. In another instance a young teen of 17 was publicly clubbed to death in a town square by members of the Czarist Gendarmerie as he was suspected of killing a Deltarian soldier. The young teen was then hanged from a balcony and one day later his head was cut off as his mother was forced to hold it to "show what happens to enemies of Deltaria" Human rights organizations have condemned the atrocities calling on the international community to act now.

Total Casualties:

Turjak Army: 21.328

Deltarian Armed Forces: 1.264

Turjak Citizens: 4.946

Istalia: With the world turning up against Deltaria as it conquers Jakania many expected the Czarist empire to do whatever it could to salvage itself, suing for peace once it had conquered Jakania and hoping to keep its gains. These expectation where however shattered early this morning.

Early in the morning at approximately 4:30 the day seemed to begin calmly for the Istalian fleet stationed in Alaria. This fleet is the Istalian Home Fleet, comprised of 2 carriers and dozens of other istalian warships. These ships had, for the last month, been preparing themselves for a possible war with Deltaria, with more ships being assembled near the naval base and its crews checking the ships for any possible problems to prepare them for when the fleet would eventually sail out.

However, instead of the fleet crews waking up to do their regular check ups and morning routines, the crews of the different ships in the Istalian fleet woke up to something else entirely. At 4:42 a cruise missile suddenly hit a Istalian cruiser docked near port. Ripping its hull and causing a massive explosion of its munition storage creating a ball of fire causing the ship to continue to burn. Just moments later a second cruise missile hit a istalian destroyer ripping it to pieces causing it to sink almost instantly on impact. Several other cruise missiles would hit Istalian ships in the next 5 minutes, causing massive damage amongst several cruisers and frigates while sinking 2 destroyers. Now the crews of every ship in port were wide awake, struggling to make sense of what was happening and scrambling their gear to go to their fighting positions. Just when they all thought things couldnt get worse the next attack followed just minutes after the first had ended.

Several R-37 stealth multirole fighter jets launched precision aerial strikes against the Istalian fleet. With several missiles hitting the already damaged Istalian cruisers and Frigates. One missile hit the fuel storage of a istalian frigate, causing a major explosion and the sinking of the ship moments after. Another missile hitting two istalian cruisers still docked in port, ripping one of them through half while capsizing the other with a precision hit on the most vulnerable part of its hull. Another pair of 2 R-37 jet multirole fighters managed to score hits on one of the Aircraft Carriers in port, destroying its command center and severaly damaging its deck, causing it to be unable to launch the aircraft still on board. One of the Deltarian R-37 stealth fighters was hit by a istalian anti air ground installation, causing it to spiral out of control and later crash into the ocean. This second attack costed Istalia 2 cruisers, a frigate and 4 destroyers with one of its two aircraft carriers badly damaged against the cost of just one R-37 stealth multirole aircraft for the Deltarians.

Just when things couldnt get worst for the Istalians a third and last attack took place. Deltarian Yasen class submarines launched their torpedoes against the Istalian fleet after managing to enter their vicinity due to the chaos. Hitting the Istalian carrier once more causing it, together with the crew and aircraft on board, to capsize. Torpedos hit another istalian frigate, two istalian corvette's and another cruiser. Sinking the frigate and severely damaging the corvette's and cruiser. A torpedo also hit the second istalian carrier docked in port, this torpedo however did not cause the ship to capsize and instead ripped its hull open, causing lower decks to be filled with water until engineering teams managed to stop the water from coming up before the ship would capsize.

This devastating attack which has already been described as the "Disaster of Alaria" has completely crippled the Istalian Home Fleet. With the loss of a aircraft carrier, 7 destroyers, 3 cruisers and 2 frigates and severely damaging many more ships within the home fleet. The aerial attacks failed however to effectively destroy military infrastructure located at Alaria such as weapon depots and fuel storages with only the fuel storage closest to the coast to be hit by a cruise missile, destroying it.

After this attack, which came without a declaration of war and before Istalia officially entered the war, the Istalian Home Fleet is, at least for a while, rendered incapacitated, its ability to mount any kind of expedition into the open sea or transport it troops to the frontline without the Deltarian Imperial Navy intercepting them has been reduced to 0 for the time being, effectively accomplishing the goal of Deltaria. The Imperial Ministry of War confirmed the attack several hours after it had taken place, stating that the Deltarian Nemec Carrier strike group and one Attack Fleet had participated in the attack. The Imperial Deltarian Navy only lost 3 R-37 stealthplanes and suffered light damage on one of its submarines, making this a total and descisive action by the Deltarian Armed Forces.

With this attack Deltaria has managed to give itself more time to prepare for a eventual invasion of its lands and liberation of Jakania and, in addition, cripple over 2/3rds of the current active surface fleet of Istalia, rendering them unable to peform naval actions anytime soon.
