This revival of the dominant industry in Deltaria has made its mark as factories, shipyards and companies are expanded or made from the ground up in recent years. This sudden revival is not only needed for the domestic arms industry of Deltaria. Instead the Deltarian Government has been actively pursuing utilizing the vast military industrial complex of deltaria to produce weaponry for willing customers accross terra. This strategy would not only strengthen the deltarian economy and military industry, but would also ensure closer relations between Deltaria and the nations they sell the equipment to. A first and immediately major step in this strategy is the recent announcement that Deltaria and Malivia as well as Deltaria and Kalistan have signed comprehensive arms deals, selling billions in military hardware to the two nations.
The first deal was made between Deltaria and Kalistan. Kalistan, after its recent loss against Lourennais forces, is looking to create a self defense force capable of protecting its connection between Ananto and the continental Kalistani regions. To achieve this, the Kalistani airforce needs the capability and equipment to perform long range and short range missions mostly within the Ananto strait. To that end the Deltarian Minister of War, Oto Brotz, met with his Kalistani counterpart to discuss the possibility of producing certain jets and other airplanes for Kalistan. This resulted in the so called "Aerial Protection Deal". This deal consists of a total of 3.2 billion LOD in aircraft sales to Kalistan with the deal consisting out of
Tu-142 maritime reconnaissance aircraft, The latest model of the
Su-25 Frogfoot close air support jet and the
MiG-31 Interceptor. The Tu-142 is a propellor driven aircraft refitted with advanced radar systems and other equipment meant for patrolling and reconnaissance missions over longer and medium ranged distances. 10 of these Tu-142's are to be constructed by SATURN with them likely being used by Kalistan to patrol and keep an eye on the Ananto Strait. The Su-25 Frogfoot close air support jet is a jet specifically designed to provide close air support to ground forces of the new Kalistani military and its newer version, previously developed by the Deltarians, is the likely version Kalistan shall receive. The deal states that 75 Su-25's have been ordered. Furthermore the MiG-31 Interceptor has been ordered by Kalistan. This jet, though old, is still considered to be a reasonably capable aircraft for the task it was developed to do: shooting down bombers and peforming other high altitude takedowns. The MiG-35 is also considered to be one of the fastest jets in Terra. Kalistan has ordered a total of 60 MiG-35's in the APD deal.
This marks a total of 3.2 billion LOD in aircraft sales to Kalistan. According to the Ministry of War the private deltarian aerospace company SATURN is currently processing the order and is likely to start construction with the help of the DDS, using several of their factories to produce the aircraft. While some lawmakers have issued concerns over the possibility of Deltarian equipment falling in the wrong hands the Ministry of War has issued a statement explaining that "the equipment being sold is using already existing technology that, if made public, would not harm deltaria in any way". On the question whether or not Deltaria will produce these aircraft for their own aerial fleet the Ministry did not want to comment. Likely meaning a no. The deal will last a total of 7 years, with the aircraft being delivered in batches until the end of the contract. Geopolitical analysts call the move a strategic play by Deltaria besides the obvious financial benefit, with the deltarian government likely to strengthen relations with the seleyan nation.

This time in Malivia. The country of Malivia has been struck by poverty and a relative low standard of living. Its government, which values defense spending, has announced that it intends of expanding its armed forces to accomodate for its future ambitions in the region and economically, hopefully being able to protect their economic interests. Deltaria has jumped into this gap, using its strong military industry and large arsenal of modern weaponry to pursuade the Malivians into signing a arms deal of their own. Deltaria has recently begun with pulling their fleet of
T-72B2 tanks out of active service and replacing them with the T-84-Zeca, produced by the DDS. While at first it was believed Deltaria would dismply decomission the now obsolete tanks Malivia showed interest in buying them instead, hopefully making sure they have a at least partially capable tank in their arsenal. Taking into account the Malivian request the Ministry of War pulled the decommission order given to the Military Equipment Recovery Unit (MERU) on 200 of the 400 T-72B2 tanks that will be out of service at the end of modernizations and instead hired Car and Military private manufacturer PRIME to refit and repair them. 200 of the 400 T-72B2 tanks will now be refitted and repaired to be sold to Malivia in batches, amounting to a total of 400 million LOD in the end. To expand upon this deal even further Malivia decided to also order Deltarian military ships to bolster its fleet and ensure it can protect its coast but also possibly challenge its former claims near Selucia further down the line.
In a rather unexpected move Deltaria agreed to the production and sale of 3
Gorshkov-class frigates, the most modern frigate Deltaria can produce. In addition two older
Slava-class missile guided cruisers have also been ordered, making the total bill for Malivia a large 1.2 billion LOD (Tanks included). While even more lawmakers and even military officials were critical of selling the Gorshkov to Malivia the First Minister intervened saying "We have made the necessary preparations to ensure that none of the sensitive and confidential data on hardware of software of the gorshkov will get in the wrong hands" likely meaning that Malivia and Deltaria have struck a deal concerning the possible resell of the vessel or sharing information on it. The ordered ships are to be produced by the Ushalande Engineering Group in their shipyards of Dissuwa and Ushalande. As currently the Imperial Navy still has orders on ships that need to be completed it is expected that construction on the Malivian vessels will start within 2 years and last a total of 5. Making the eventual delivery date of the ships likely to be in 7 years.
This deal also further strengthens relations between Malivia and Deltaria and is, just like the Kalistani deal, a way of furthering Deltaria's goals outside of Majatra and once again becoming the dominant weapon manufacturer on terra.
