Investigation: These Nations Legally Resembling Rildanor

ARLOUX - Our investigation unit spent several months studying the legislation of the 58 countries making up Terra. The aim of this work is to be able to compare national laws to find out which nations are most similar to Rildanor. All the data were listed in May 4863. Thus, the results of this survey are only valid for this period, even if the laws are rarely changed overnight.

After several months of collecting information and processing data, we are able to reveal to you which country is closest from a legislative point of view. Out of 291 levers established by the 58 states, it appears that Beluzia shares the greatest number of points in common (55.33%) with Rildanor. This is reflected particularly in the areas of administration, health, education, culture, agriculture, religion and to a lesser extent in civil liberties and infrastructure. The two republics are clearly in agreement on a number of issues.

In the rest of this ranking, we finally find quite a few nations with which Rildanor has very close ties.

Conversely, the countries least close to Rildanor are Jelbe (25.77%), Kafuristan (29.21%) and Tukarali (30.93%). Endralon, whose dubious attitude in the Security Council had shocked, is positioned only in 48th position (36.77%). We can also cite Yingdala with whom Rildanor shares important treaties; this country only reaches 38th place in this ranking (42.27%).

Regarding the members of the Canrille Empire, some surprises are emerging. If Alduria (31st, 43.99%) and Kanjor (28th, 44.67%) do not seem so close in terms of Rildanor, Lourenne (11th, 49.14%) on the contrary is not that far from our country. Results which would tend to bring arguments to the High Chancellor Juliette Valence.

Republicans under pressure opt for conservatism

TIRALLE - Following a Congress organized once again in Tiralle (Tiralouse), the members of the RRR elected Anne Blanc, a 70-year-old conservative to represent them in the next presidential election.

The atmosphere was heavy in Tiralle when the RRR Congress opened. On the eve of the next general elections which will be almost historic since they will put three major political parties to the table - this had not happened for 32 years (in June 4832, the Front de la Gauche Unie, the New Popular Party and the Union of Conservatives were in contention in this legislative election) - Republicans appear pessimistic. In this context, the disappearances of Zacharie Pichon in October 4862, president of the RRR (June 4849 - March 4858) and spokesperson for the party (April 4858 - October 4862), and of Adrien Delannoy in October 4863, candidate of the RRR during from the last presidential election, the morale of activists is not at its highest. As a result, the progressives of the party were not jostling for the candidacy. Only the vice-president of the party launched into the race. However, the age of Aurélie Guyon (84) seemed a major obstacle to her victory. She only got 13.36% of the vote. A stinging defeat that benefited the two conservatives who also presented themselves. First, the unknown Jean-Pierre Grossolet who confused activists with his offensive speech against the Canrille Empire. The Rildanor Republican Rally, through its president Denis Marchal, said it was open to diplomatic exchanges with respect for individual sovereignty. From then on, Grossolet's speech appeared in contradiction with the general will. However, he won 33.84% of the vote.

The big winner of this primary is Anne Blanc, already an unsuccessful candidate in April 4856. The 70-year-old conservative, supported by the liberals, gathers a narrow majority (52.80%) and will therefore be the RRR candidate next January to probably face President Juneau Valferra and the RPF candidate.

The time of alternation

ARLOUX - It was a real thunderclap in Rildanorian political life: while the New Popular Party had been in power since February 4841 (for 24 years), while the NPP had always won the presidential election since the restoration of the Republic, while the executives of the RRR management were particularly pessimistic about the outcome of these elections, Anne Blanc, the conservative candidate of the RRR largely won the presidential election against outgoing president Juneau Valferra.

Juneau Valferra, the first woman to be elected president of the Trudeauist Republic of Rildanor, will also be the first not to be re-elected. Between her election in January 4861 and this year, she lost an estimated 18.5 million voters (she won 14.3 million votes for 42.78% of the vote, the worst NPP result since 4845). His successor at the Palais des Martyrs is also a woman, Anne Blanc, from the conservative ranks of the Rassemblement Républicain de Rildanor. She obtained the best score of the RRR in this election (19.1 million for 57.22%). It has doubled the RRR score compared to the last election.

On the legislative side, the Republican wave is confirmed. All the local states fall into the Republican camp. Even states where the RRR only garnered tens of thousands of votes, such as Boudigaux and Montpellier, offer it a clear victory. Sirdour is even the state where the RRR obtained the most votes (4.4 million), when it peaked at 750,000 in the previous poll.

This huge electoral surprise was probably due primarily to the low turnout: less than one in two voters turned out (45.60% or 11 points less than in 4861). But that is not enough to explain the doubling of the Republican votes. The erosion of power, the sudden appearance of the Rildanorian Patriotic Front, its alleged links with the NPP and its equally sudden disappearance and the difficulty for the NPP to renew its political program are all reasons which pushed voters to s' open to the conservative voice of the RRR. An important moment in the history of the Trudeauist Republic. But the hardest part begins for the new leaders: reforming the country and gaining popular support.

President Anne Blanc in the re-election campaign

PORT TENAY - Unsurprisingly invested by the RRR, President Anne Blanc is campaigning for her re-election. She was yesterday visiting the private clinic in Port-Tenay (Boudigaux) to promote her action during her first term.

One of the flagship reforms of President Anne Blanc's mandate will undoubtedly have been the greater opening up of the health system to private clinics, which are no longer under the yoke of binding restrictions. Accompanied by her Minister of Health and Social Services, Hubert Doisneau, and by her Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yves Klein. The first was present because of his role in the implementation of the reform, the second had come to praise the progress of the care of foreign nationals by the Rildanorian care system thanks to the improvement of reception capacities that private clinics allow.

With these words, Yves Klein refused to answer more questions, particularly those related to the devastating remarks of a minority representative of his party who wanted "to withdraw from treaties with the nations which still claim to have an alleged sovereignty over the Rildanorians". Embarrassing questions to which President Anne Blanc did not answer more. The duel republicans - popular promises to be tense.

Death of former president Anne Blanc

ARLOUX - While the RRR Investiture Congress was to be held in his presence, Anne Blanc, President of the National Convention and former President of the Republic, passed away yesterday, April 11, 4880, at the age of 86. It leaves behind an important political legacy. President Gladys Vergneau has declared three days of national mourning to honor the memory of this exceptional woman.

Anne Blanc’s journey is fraught with difficulties and setbacks. Yet she is one of the major political figures of the Trudeauist Republic of Rildanor. She was born on August 6, 4793 in Pré-des-Mers in the state of Sirdour. She showed an interest in power at a young age and became responsible for a university newspaper and campaigned for the restoration of historic buildings in Sirdour.

In 4818, she was hired by a water treatment company in Tiralle (Tiralouse). Its role is to organize communication between the company, partners, communities and local and national government administration. Ten years later, in November 4828, she joined an advertising agency. This experience was unsuccessful, she was made redundant in May 4831. Anne Blanc then returned to her hometown and became involved locally in associations and founded a personal service company ("Services AB concept"). The expansion of its activity brings it to employ 70 people. She will sell her business for 3.2 million RCR in March 4858.

She met Lukas Matic in September 4838. He then worked on the foundation of an anti-monarchist party which would bring together different schools of thought. Conservative at heart, she does not share Matic's progressive ideas, but is reflected in his republican ideas. From the founding of the RRR, she became an active member of the movement, but her too right-wing ideas prevented her from acceding to functions in the bodies of the RRR. Simultaneously, his daughter Ludivine Blanc born September 12, 4840. She too became a politician and joined the RRR.

Following the terrible electoral failures of 4845, 4849 and 4853, she presented her candidacy for the inaugural Congress of April 4856 which was held in Tiralle. Aged 62 at the time, she is the oldest candidate, which she will be subtly criticized for. She only won 7.01% of the vote, but it was a conservative like her, Yann Ferrier, who won the nomination. She will keep the certainty that she can be chosen by her own.

Deeming her candidacy in April 4860 at the Investiture Congress inopportune, she prefers to support Adrien Delannoy, a conservative older than herself. He wins very easily, but he is defeated in the presidential election like Yann Ferrier had been. But she is convinced, she is actively preparing her second nomination for nomination and secures the rallying of most of the RRR conservatives. Anne Blanc obtains 52.80% of the votes during the Congress of April 4864 and is therefore invested for the presidential election of January 4865. During the presidential campaign, she promises the prohibition of the use of drugs and prostitution, social debates which still make the Rildanorian news. Opposed to outgoing president Juneau Valferra, she won with 19.1 million votes (57.22%).

Criticized for her lack of action at the international level, she was however reinvested without surprise by her party in April 4868. However, like her predecessor, she was narrowly beaten (48.04%) during her re-election attempt in January 4869 by Julien Genest Chancellor. Wounded by this new setback, she initially gives up wanting to retire (she is then 75 years old). Tireless worker and finding retirement too tiring, she was elected national conventionist in January 4873. The new president Gladys Vergneau asked her to stand for election for the presidency of the National Convention. What she does and she is supported by the RRR executives. She then became the first former president of the Trudeauist Republic of Rildanor to chair the National Convention. Reelected in January 4877, Anne Blanc was then the first president of the National Convention to retain her post. But she will not have been able to complete her second term. It is the 1st Vice President, Sophie Verrant, who now holds the position until the end of the legislature.

Anne Blanc will be buried in her hometown on April 14 in the presence of President Gladys Vergneau, several members of the government and most of the Rildanorian political figures.

First cohabitation situation in the Trudeauist Republic of Rildanor

ARLOUX - While Gladys Vergneau left power, she was probably thinking of welcoming a Republican to the Palais des Martyrs during the handover. But it was the NPP candidate, Artur Pujol, who became Rildanor's 7th President of the Trudeauist Republic. He is above all the first president of the same Republic to have to come to terms with a National Convention which is not a priori favorable to him since it has a Republican majority.

Since 4873, the Republicans controlled the executive power and the legislative power. But during these two legislative elections, the NPP and the RRR were neck and neck. Thus, the RRR benefited during two legislatures only from the weakest majorities (only one conventionist in addition). In this legislative election in January 4881, the NPP lost some ground by ceding three seats to the National Convention and obtaining 750,000 fewer votes. However, his presidential candidate, Artur Pujol, convinced voters to trust him. He obtained about 730,000 more votes than Raymond Domenech, NPP candidate in the January 4877 election. For his part, the young unknown Marc Dupuy, Republican candidate, obtained an honorable 49.09% (18.4 million votes).

It is therefore a cohabitation between an NPP government and a Republican National Convention. President Pujol’s mission promises to be difficult. The president of the National Convention, Nicolas Coulange, could be one of the big players in this term.

As for the governors, for the fifth consecutive time, the Republicans won Boudigaux. For his second mandate, the son of Zacharie Pichon, Benoit Pichon again obtains more than 60% of the votes.

In Morbanaque, the NPP easily retains the state even if Didier Trudeau's party retreats slightly.

Since 4853, Tiralouse is a republican land. The gap between the RRR and the NPP is less obvious there, but for the eighth time in a row, Tiralouse is republican. Jean-Pierre Grossolet was re-elected governor of this state there.

As usual, the voters of Sirdour mobilized. And it is undoubtedly thanks to them that the RRR obtained its legislative victory. With 1.4 million more votes than the NPP, the RRR significantly increases its hold over this local state. This is the 5th consecutive Republican term for the RRR on these lands.

On the island of Montpellier, the NPP remains in power. This is his fourth consecutive victory. The NPP obtains in Montpellier its largest number of votes since January 4861 (4.1 million votes and 58.84%).

On leaving power, former President Vergneau stressed that she was proud of the work accomplished by her government: joining the SIC, obtaining the Empire of Canrille to no longer claim sovereignty over the Rildanorians and the diplomatic rapprochement that this concession generates or the prohibition of prostitution and drugs. She once again paid tribute to Anne Blanc and wished President Pujol the best possible success for the good of the Rildanorians.

Rildanor, world champion!

ARLOUX - A whole people raised their arms to the sky when the referee of the final of the football world cup which was taking place this year in Lodumun blew the final whistle. A wave of enthusiasm, songs and joy swept over the country.



"A historic moment for Rildanorian sport". It is with these few words that the Minister of Health and Social Services, Henri Proudon, commented on the victory of the national football team during the premier event at the international level. At the end of the meeting, hundreds of thousands of people invaded the streets of cities across the country. Whether in the capital, Arloux, Tiralle, Port Tenay, Saint-Antoine or Pré-des-mers, everywhere the same spectacle: streets crowded with Rildanorians celebrating and screaming their joy.

However, few of them had predicted such an outcome as their team seemed too fragile compared to the favors of the competition. Specialized observers were just hoping for a place in the quarterfinals. But this group of players making up this team were determined to prove their worth.

Their first matches against Kundrati in particular blew a wind of optimism among the supporters. The quality of the game offered already exceeded their expectations. Match after match, achievement after achievement, the magical scenario was taking shape. "A waking dream" for many of the Rildanorians who would have been content with this place in the final. For the occasion, President Vivien Tournon made the trip to Lodamun to attend the final match of this World Cup. Final during which Rildanor found Kundrait, already met in a group match.

Confidence was therefore rather on the Rildanorian side. And a new feat allowed a whole country to be able to be proud of their team, of their country.

The players and the technical support of the team were invited by Vivien Tournon to the presidential palace when they returned to national soil. A banquet and a ceremony will be held there in their honor. For several days, sales of the national jersey have been soaring. Sports stores have run out of stock and are urgently ordering large quantities of items.

Better, the Minister of Finance, Séverine Gauvin, foresees an impact on the whole Rildanorian economy which could climb by 0.5 point thanks to this victory. Beyond sales of derivative items, it is above all household morale that is boosted by this triumph and could promote consumption.

The Vice-President, Alexandre Brun, congratulated the organizers of the competition and the host country, Lodamun; "Their welcome, their work and the smooth running of this competition are additional satisfactions that we must underline. We warmly thank them". The hardest part now will be to try to keep this title for the next edition. A challenge that will undoubtedly be even more complicated to meet.

Controversial biographical book may trigger an investigation.

ARLOUX – Trudeau: The man who challenged the Lafayette Royal Family is the biography of Didier Trudeau, an important social democratic politician and one of the important figures for the establishment of a republic. Although the book was registered to the International Bibliographical Index in 4914 and was a best seller during that year, recently the book is making the rounds in political circles, specifically within the Nouveau Parti Populaire, who consider that the book opens the doors to open an investigation into the Lafayette Royal Family, who ruled the country for 110 years.
