ASTIER OUSTS VASSEUR ADMINISTRATION (backtracked)
In public speech new self-proclaimed Chef Provisoire de l'État Rildanorien (Luth.: Provisional Chief of the Rildanorian State) Maxmillien Astier has declared that former Président de l'Union (Luth.: Union President) Theóphile Vasseur has committed treason and attempted to sell out the country to Yeudi agents. He also has declared that the Une Nation (Luth.: One Nation) will be reorganised into Organisation Nationale pour l'Unité de Rildanor et Seleya (Luth.: National Organisation for Unity of Rildanor and Seleya) and shall be sole legal political party.
Meanwhile Assemblée de l'Union (Luth.: Union Assembly) has begun process of approval of four Consitutional Acts proposed by Astier to replace the Union Consitution. The first of the acts titled First Constitutional Act on the Existence of the Rildanorian State outlines basic administrative structure of the new Rildanorian State. According to the act Assemblée de l'Union (Luth.: Union Assembly) will be replaced by Conseil de l'État Rildanorien (Luth.: Council of the Rildanorian State), and the position of Président de l'Union (Luth.: Union President) will be abolished in favour of position of Chef de l'État Rildanorien (Luth.: Head of the Rildanorian State).
The second Consitutional Act, called Second Consitutional Act on the Preservation of Unity, Stability, and Security of the Rildanorian State, meanwhile bans all independent media and free elections. By Third Consitutional Act on Economic Policy of the Rildanorian State, Astier intends to enforce monopolies in all sectors of the economy, using newly created State Corporations. To further this goal all trade unions will be merged into State Syndicates, with one State Syndicate per one State Corporation.
Reportedly the catalyst of the coup itself was attempt by Vasseur to dismiss Astier from post of Commissaire à la Sécurité (Luth.: Commissar for Security), Astier who was informed of this then proceeded to march with his followers within the army and the government into the government palace and arrest Vasseur for treason.
The information about the coup are scarce and future of Rildanor is uncertain, however Front Populaire de la Gauche Unie (Luth.: Popular Front of the United Left) has already declared they will seek exile in Alduria.
