Support package to Thallerist Kalopia agreed
During the seating of the cabinet the government decided on a hundred-billion BEI support package per year for the government of Kalopia. The money shall come out of the current budget surplus and will be given without any condition. Menawhile the number of soliders has been increased to 11,000 and the total number of tanks to 70.

Refuge training conducted
The police of Beiteynu together with the border troops conducted a 1 week training exercise against possible illegal mass imigration during e.g. a civil war in a neigbouring country. First self-shooting devices and mines at the border installed

In accordance with the report deriving from the latest refuge training, constructions have begun along the border to Pontesi and Barmenia to fortifie the current existing border fence with self-shooting devices and mines to prevent any possible movement of foreigners and/or refuges into Beiteynu. Furthermore the first border fence, the electric fence, will increased from five to seven meters in height and the voltage used will be increased from 30 to 40 AC voltage. Beiteynu voices concern about situations about Yeudish people in Barmenia

In the wake of the recent press statements and laws which were passed by the Barmenian government the ministry for internal affairs toegther with the army has confirmed that the refugee early warning system has been reactivated. Sources close to the King confirm that Barmenia is under surveillance and that the government of Beiteynu receives some reports about a small numberof atrocities to Yeudish people in Baremenia.The intensity and gravity of these assaults seem to be much lower then the persecution of the Hosians and for most people of Yeudish believe life seems to continue as always.

The government of Beiteynu always supported the Thallerist movement and also sent troops to the Kalopian war to support them.
It is expected that the government will use its connections to the other Thallerist family members to build up pressure on Barmenia to continue to allow Yeudis the free exercise of their believe or at least to turn a blind eye on them.

During the 270-year celebration since the first participation of the DYP in elections the current King and Rav Aluf as Prime Minister and party leader of the DYP remarked upon the current state of Majatra

Istalia remains still the cancer of terra undoubtedly with its interventionist and imperialistic stance, however i have hope that the more moderate forces in Istalia will soon take hold over the ultra-liberal minority. Given the recent development in Kalopia the govenment has reduced its military and financial committment signifanctly leaving room for a troops for the securing of the Beiteynu-Barmenian border. Over the last few weeks the number of deployed troops increased from 2,000 border troops to around 7,000 soldiers to prevent any illegal border crossing. To this day only 3 successful illegal border corssings were reported. The estimated number of killed refugees on the Beiteynu-Barmenian border is estimated at 15.
Unconfirmed reports seem to underline that the government of Beiteynu has taken a hardline approach to the increasing number of attempted border crossing by persecuted Barmenian yeudis and hosians, killing any person trying to reach the electric two layers border fence. Several refugees also stepped over mines or were killed by the self-shooting devices or electric shocks. A number of arrest have been made and the suspects were sent back to Barmenia

Beiteynu to forster closer relaions with Pontesi and Barmenia

In a statement by the government the government announced it seeks closer relations with Barmenia despite its controversial yeudi politics. As a precondition however the government demanded the end of persecution of yeudish people in Barmenia.
In the recently passed treaty with Pontesi the two countries pledged to build up a joint eletricity grid as well as more infrastructure projectes such as cross border motorways, ending the Istalian influence in Norther Majatra.
On another matter the King warned the Istalians:

Game, set and match!
Yesterday, the government of Beiteynu announced its intnetion in the wake of current Istalian agression to increase the number of active soldiers by immidiate deployment to 2.0 million and to give military operations a priority in Beiteynu by declaring a state of emergency.
Furthermore, during the night ten long range bombers which were destined for Badara changed their course and flew instead to Kafuristan, with whom the government of Beiteynu recently agreed on a mutual usage of their military bases by a treaty passed by the two parliaments.

The long range bombers are much closer to Istalia now then with our Badaran base. This will give us the opportunity to reach nearly ever point in Istalia. We hope that we can also deploy some rocket-based equipment in the future.

In a further press conference the defence minister presented evidence for the Malivian-Istalian nuclear weapons programm.

Beiteynu air force units transfered to Eastern Pontesi

With permission of the government of Pontesi the Beiteynuse air forces ordered 20 striker air units to a military air base in Bazileum. The units are within operational range of all Selucian islands. Futrhermore two transport aircrafts were also transfered there. The Knesset is expected to debate a full mobilization of the military during the next few days to allow the more efficent supply of the striker fighters.
Unconfirmed reports also point to the fact that several rockets were transfered to Eastern Pontesi. The recent actions by the Beiteynuse government are widly seen as a reaction to the genocidal law currently debated in the Selucian parliament.

We do not seek conflict, but should the Selucian government press ahead on the persecution of minorities we will be forced to act decisivly.

First military exercise concluded: Mobilisation continues

To underline the profound opposition to the recent passed act by the Selucian parliament 12 of the 20 striker aicrafts stationed in Arcem Phoenicis (Bazileum region, Pontesi) started on their first military excerise. They seemed to have violated Selucian airspace several times in the process. Meanwhile the general mobilisation in Beiteynu continues reaching now a total of 525,000 deployed soldiers (125,000 called in reservists+400,000 regular soldiers).The goals is to increase the total number of deployed soldiers to 800,000 by March 4317.
The two air craft carrier groups are to be modernaized starting immidiately. They are scheduled to be finished and ready for service by the end of 4317 while the defence ministry announced that two completly new air craft carrier groups are to be finished by 4325, allowing for the production of two completly new groups. The two old groups are to be scheduled for selling by then.

Meanwhile the government of Beitynu has odered the movement of the embassay to Insularia (Selucia) and has asked all yeudis to move to on of the provinces controlled by the In Marea.

Production of nuclear weapons restarts
As far back as 4232 the government of Beiteynu decided upon the long and hard journey to obtain an own nuclear deterrent and nuclear and chemical weapons. Especially the nuclear weapons programm was hindered by shortages of meterial but it seems as if the shortage has somewhat ended since the defence university of Beiteynu has restarted the enrichment of the uranium ore. The production of 200 kg of nearly pure uranium 235 is expected to be finished by 4325 with the centrifuges in service by around 4319.
According to experts the programm needs at least 100 kg of pure uranium 235 per bomb.

The first tests of the biological and chemical weapons are scheduled to take place around 4320 with the first bombs to be operational at around 4330.
