Possible Restoration of The Beiteynuese Defense Force under discussion in the Knesset


This morning in Yishelem members of the Knesset linked to the left-liberal Kadima Beiteynu announce their intention to draft a bill designed to restore the existence of The Beiteynuese Defense Forces long after it's abolition under the Neumannstein presidency in a bid to privatize the armed forces and effectively hand control over to private security firms from abroad (in this case Istalia). last years attempt to reinstate the Beiteynuese Defense Forces was successfully defeated thanks to the opposition of the right-liberal Herut on the grounds that such institution would be a strain on the economy and thus a detriment to the rights and liberties of the individual. this time around however Herut has decided to vote in favour after an attempt was made to reinstate the status of BDF provided it be based on voluntary national service. it is not yet known if the bill will pass through unimpeded.

Defense Restoration Bill passes

This morning the restoration of the defense forces bill purposed by members of Kadima Beiteynu with the overwhelming support of Herut, Haaretz, and Yarok thus resulting in the establishment of The Beiteynu Defense Forces as a voluntary organization whose goal is to protect and defend the constitution and people of Beiteynu against all enemies foreign and domestic. All Enlisted men will be issued a uniform and a rifle with the latter being stored at home. Private contractors hired by The State prior to restoration are to remain in Beiteynu to shore up civil defense units and the police.

Wilhelm Meyer dead at 59


Wilhelm Meyer, former leader of Herut and President of Beiteynu from 4334 to 4346 died this morning at the age of 56 years old. he was survived by his wife Ayn Meyer along with his two sons Siegfried and Moses. Meyer was born on May 14th, 4290 in Haldor, Dorvik to Heinrich and Edith Meyer. his father was a former Lieutenant in the Imperial Dorvish Army turned bookstore owner whereas his mother was seamstress. the couple was able to provide their only son with a comfortable middle class childhood before immigrating to Beiteynu in 4317. Meyer enrolled himself in The Yeudish University of Yishelem being the third among his class to graduate with a degree in Yeudish history and Ethics. it was at The Yeudish University of Yishelem that he joined the right liberal political party of Herut. while at a rally he meet his future wife Ayn Maskowitz whom he later married before become President of Beiteynu in 4334. in 4346 he retired from politics and settled down in Himmelshtern where he died.

his funeral is scheduled for Thursday at The Himmelshtern Reformed Temple.

The National Military Organization begins conducting exercises in the desert and serveral abandoned cities

This morning throughout Beiteynu members of the Revisionist NMO gathered together in a show of force dressed in camouflage and brandishing assault rifles. The NMOs commander Yigal Kahn stated that the sole purpose behind the event was to "prepare for the future and if needbe resist governmental tyranny until Beiteynu ceases to worry about the leftists." NMOs political counterparts Herut have made it clear to the nation that no such exercises are actually filled with malice for all is well.

Salomon's bid to establish a central bank provokes the ire of Revisionists

This morning large crowds of Revisionists gathered in the capital Yishelem to protest the purposed establishment of a central bank in Beiteynu. Revisionist MPs have issued a declaration of support for those protesting the decision and shall vacate the Knesset in a gesture of defiance.

National Military Organization responds to Socialist uproar


This afternoon rioting began in Himmelshtern after Herut and Haaretz agreed to pass a bill regarding the deregulation of the economy which among other things included provisions that would cease the mandatory payment of minimum wage and with it payroll contributions. the rioters were members of Beiteynuese Metzist People's Front, a militant left wing organization and were armed with rocks and clubs. 20 storefronts were damaged in the rioting and 50 businessmen killed. after having received news of such rioting the local chapter of The National Military Organization deployed two companies of riflemen which upon arrival opened fire on the crowd of rioters killing 120. within a period of 4 hours the riots simmered down.

Minister of Justice purposes the establishment of tribunal for New Englian pogromists

This Morning the minister of justice purposed the establishment of a tribunal designed to prosecute individuals responsible for the persecution turned Extermination of Yeudish men, women, and children in New Englia from the time of the famine years right up to the Thallerist final solution of the Yeudish question.

This morning in streets of Yishelem thousands of Beiteynuese Yeudis gathered in their masses carrying pickets, flags, and banners with the intention of showing their support for the Herut sponsored boycott against New Englian merchandise in response to that nation's lack of regard for human life especially if those lives are of Yeudish or Onglian origin. dockworkers have stated their utmost refusal to unload New Englian merchandise on the grounds that such nation has blood on their hands. Johannes Rosenthal has issued a petition regarding an economic boycott of New Englia and has at the moment a total of 7,000 signatures. Rosenthal has called upon the leaders of Kadima Beiteynu and Haaretz to encourage their members to cease patronising businesses with ties to New Englia and to sign the petition. furthermore, Rosenthal has requested support from the foreign office to release a statement to the world assembly in order to place hardcore sanctions on New Englia.
