Providence, the capital of Lodamun is renown for it's beautiful city center, plazas, festivals and cultural activity
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------If you think to visit Lodamun, you should! Running out of ideas for travel? Lodamun offers unforgivable exotic and unexpected experience, from villages that live in the past, to forests without end, to Providences incredible center and to the pristine Andalayan beaches. Lodamese government has decided to heavily subsidy tourism as large potential for economic growth. Billions have already been invested, with more to come to ensure that tourist industry prospers and develops further, as Endralon business, Sarkozy hotels also expanded chain of hotels to supplement the sharp growth of Lodamese tourist industry which is reaching to several billion LODs in revenue per year! Recently documentaries on the wildlife of Kregon and Golavia, alongside more over different tourist attractions were released, as well publicity done for
Providence, Newport and Ellington. Newport got it's ads around musical festivals, welcoming bazaars and the renown cuisine that has large Egelian, Gaduri, Kalistani and Baltusian influences, alongside the castle near it and the beaches, despite the temperatures there make it harder for sunbathing. Here is few of our attractions and cultural aspects of Lodamun, be them religious or architectural:
Lodamun experiences new paganic wavesBeginning our journey into Lodamun, we will talk onto our religious backgrounds. With recent polls have shown that Lodamun is increasingly pagan, with some drops in atheism and agnosticism, but rather surprising of the collapse of all relevant Hosian denominations in Lodamun. So much that paganism has surpassed both regionally and nationwide the numbers of followers held by Hosian various denominations. Paganism as thus has become emblematic to Lodamese landscape nowadays, and paramount to our superior culture. However not all things are so simple to understand. While paganism can be seen as unitary form of religion, it is actually highly split in hundreds of denominations, with some being more relevant than others, which themselves can be categorized in many ways and under different names. The most common split is between Revivalist and Traditional(ist) Paganism. The main divide comes along the lines of history as definitory trait, while particular traits are related around beliefs and manifestation. Traditionalist waves claim, or at least are presumed to be the guiding paganic cults, born long ago, even before the existence of EAPP, making up the conservative and reactionary bulk of Lodamese politics, some cults being associated with anti urbanism, anti modernism, anti intellectualism as well a return to highly reactionary values and a feudal organic society. Meanwhile on the other side of the river, the Revivalists claim and denounce the validity of the traditional cults, through recent discoveries presuming that the new paganic waves are the real oldest paganic cults. While this fight for who is the established paganic wave seems irrational and useless, some specialists, historians and experts in religion offer clues that this may be strongly related to the fact that being the first established offers some kind of aura of respect and legitimacy to spread and influence politics, alongside with a weird belief in a unitary sort of paganic view, despite the countless paganic cults existing in the both classifications, many pointing out then to the futility of such distinctions, others at the explanations offered around time or seeing paganism as unitary despite the stark differences.
Revivalist currents are spreading like wildfire in the urban areas, aside the increasing atheist and agnostic outlook and the meltdown of the past religions, Quaderite or around Lodamese Nationalism. Revivalism is often equalized with egalitarianism, socialism, environmentalism and asceticism, with many of the Revivalist movements believing in anti-materialist and populist rhetoric. Since this wave was sparked across Lodamun, seeking to overthrow the old religion, many denominations popped out all across Lodamun, and while up until now, historical and academic papers talked only about Followers of Ezic Star, three new major denominations, alongside other like Followers of Nauru Star or Cup of Dios, have started to emerge to relevance: Golavian Ezicism (schism in the cult of Ezic Star, though still growing), Daizoni and Heart of Jal. First that we will talk about is Golavian Ezicism.
>Golavian Ezicism is often identified in Golavia, where the name comes from, however it is trying to spread elsewhere, since the name is more related to the place of birth, similar to Lodamese Idealism being named after the place where it took shape as distinctive form of Idealism than one found abroad. Golavian Ezicism, unlike the classical Cult of Ezic Star, are far different in their theology and practices. While classical Ezicism focuses on a rational force, the new genre focuses on distinctions between stationary/mobile when talking of spiritual forces. It is true that classical Ezicists also differentiate the mobile from stationary, the relative from universal, but Golavian Ezicists have put more emphasis over the mobile vs stationary, as in the belief of chaos vs stability, in which the Universe is normally in chaos, however the counter force, being Order, at metaphysical level being relativity vs universality fight. In this battle humans, just as other parts of our surroundings, the material world, are against the existence, and that our duty lies within pursuing a relentless fight against the Chaos and absurd that lies outside the boundaries of knowledge and material world. For the new Ezicists, the Rational Force is replaced by Order and Sense against it's opposite, and the only way to be happy and be one with the spiritual forces is to seek stability, to seek to stop the motion, the constant improper fragile balance between collapse and order, to seek the universal, the supreme order, thing achieved only through values, tradition, history, philosophy, nation, symbols that outlive their inventors, we can, even if illusory, survive the world of changing forms.
>Heart of Jal is a rising new pagan cult in Lodamun, renown for the belief in the superiority of Death over Life, espousing suspiciously nihilistic views in which gods, deities are seen as obstacles, as forces trying to torture and haunt people, who are brought by the superior forces with intent to test them. People are in a sort of fatidic fate in which they have to put against obstacles and if they succeed to overcome it, by standing against chaos and hazards thrown at them, their soul proves to be a strong soul which will be able to achieve true happiness after death, in which the soul liberates itself from the shackles of his body and disintegrates.. so despite the cult of death, Jal believers do not think suicide is good, but rather defeating. The only way to be liberated is to prove your will matches the Deities, the forces, the nature so one can become one with them. If no, people will be forced to dwell in the material as ghosts. This comes close to Hosian theory, seen very Quaderite, Heart of Jal believers defend it by comparing the fact that in Hosian and Quaderite religions, people are eternally punished after death and people in general live after death, unlike in Jal where people after death are liberated, if not, people do not truly die, as material death is not considered Death in the whole sense, and Death is considered equal to Happiness. Though indeed, if people cannot achieve the strength as soul necessary they will not Die truly, but be captive on Earth till next chance. Heart of Jal has other interesting egalitarian views, outside their fatalistic view on humans doomed to a life of struggle by forces superior to him as well in possibility of humans to overcome this through Will. Some of these are on homosexuality, especially male homosexuality as seen as truly egalitarian form of love, as the same sex love features equality among partners. Despite the suspiciously sexist tendencies to categorize female-male relations as unequal, the Jal followers believe in elevated platonic homosexual love between men. There are few drawings surviving to this day found in South Andalay representing this love. Heart of Jal is a cult as well with interesting practices, such as staring at an object such as a rock or tree, as a form of pray, visual rather than auditive, as people believe that the world of images is the best way to communicate with the Other. Of course auditive items are also from the same source, but images for Jal do not lie, as they see that the auditive as interpretative, but images are iconic.
>Daizoni is a recent reenacted and growing religious cult among farmers of Lodamun although urbanite have also congregations of Daizonists. Daizoni is axed around belief in a superior force molding our Universe, really not in a rational being. For Daizonists, the Universe is made to be nonsensical, and all rational thought is not aimed at discovering a rational thought behind the Universe, but to realize the irrationality of the Universe and the forces in it, and over that contemplation to come up with best solutions. It is seen that Daizoni is more axed on behavioral morality more than anything, believing that morality exists only when individuals interact with each other, even indirectly. That encompasses even glutton-like behavior, since using too much resources around us, restrains the capabilities of others. For Daizonists, sexual behaviors, beliefs, preferences and whatever people are doing in a small way are irrelevant as long as they behave nice
>Cup of Dios is a smaller denomination, revolving around praising mystic cups and nature as the divinity lives outside us, in this world, rather above us, so how we treat with the world, we treat with our creators, thus the results. Followers of Nauru star, or Naurists take name from believing in Nauru star as gate with the overworld. Naurists are more mysterious and egalitarian than their peers.

Providence, the capital of cultural life and architecture[Republican Plaza, District 1,
Providence]
Providence, Lodamun, is a known city around the world thanks to being the administrative and cultural capital of Lodamun. However
Providence is also seductive for the architecture that the old center employs. Spanning on large amount of districts, the Old Center with Republican Plaza as the epicenter of all. Here, beautiful astonishing buildings take your eyes. From restaurants and hotels, to shops, to theaters and museums. Universities, as this is the cultural and educational center, like University of Lodamun or University of
Providence. circuses, themed amusement parks as well bazaars are also present here and there, alongside churches and temples that call this city their home. Some sky scrappers do exist outside the Old Center, but the city is generally aesthetically pleasing to look at, as the old exotic style, with Gaduri and Egelian inspirations have caught the eyes of many.
Providence attracts annually over 35 million tourists. The five million sized city of Lodamun is a magnet for tourists. Old stylish cars, an international cuisine, bazaars, the numerous shops and the many but safe roads, as police is rarely employed in these parts, and prisons are mostly a tourist attraction, like Zoka.
Providence is also having the most hospitable and nicest persons, as to add on top, with many helping tourists or even letting them sleep as guests at their flats. Tourists, while Lodamun is renown for asceticism, can opt out of such life in several districts made special for nightlife, clubs, sex workers and parades.
Providence also has most lax laws on vices and weed from Lodamun. Lastly, people are invited to Central
Providence Park, a massive park for people to explore, from the usual trees and beautiful soft grass, to the squirrels and other various animals. Zoos and aquariums are also your get to go for their varied fauna and flora.
Map of the
Providence districts.
Providence has most districts from all of Lodamese cities, with 55 and a special district 0, the smallest, reserved for hosting the Presidium and the Government (Grand Azure). While the city has many districts, it only has 5 million citizens, as well encompassing low rate of poverty and homelessness. Stray dogs are as well rare in
Providence. The big city is split into the Old Center, formed of darker grey districts found on the map, renown for the older architectural styles and beautiful landmarks, while the lighter grey stands for residential areas, industries and other centers and city extensions. They too look pretty, however lack the historical and cultural importance of the Old Center, where best universities of Lodamun, museums and academia, as well the administrative buildings reside. The first four districts, alongside Special District 0 represent the heart of Lodamun and of the city, although other districts are also nice on their own. District 0 is located in District 1, which is also named Revolutionary Square, in memory of the last Lodamese Civil War, where Republican Plaza can also be found for the outlandish buildings and cars.
Providence Hall, one of the biggest boulevards in Northern Seleya, found alongside the
Providence river, district 1 and 2.
Providence Hall features Hall of Fame building for best achievements done by Lodamun and depositing cultural artifacts, home of National Museum of Arts and Modern Art Institute, alongside Grand Hotel Lodamun and especially the old Parliament of the UFSR, the Whitebird. This boulevard is also famous for the iconic stylish cars and for the Gaduri influences. The Whitebird for example, built during the UFSR offers tourists a point of reference in Lodamese history, as the symbol of socialist and popular triumph in Lodamun over the feudal elements lingering around. The building took 5 years to build, with over 1 billion LODs funneled into projects. Recently it has been rehabilitated since the facade started to degrade. Other interesting things to be found are the small Mayoral Plaza, close by the
Providence Hall.
University of Lodamun is one of the most important universities from Lodamun, focusing on theology, psychology and philosophy. Located in District 3, this university has came second in national rankings, with lower success than it's sister University of
Providence. While it is weaker by a bit, this university also offers great courses and seminaries, as well provides the school of Lodamese Existentialism as a counterweight to the Ethicist philosophies found in the nearby university. This university is renown for the great number of foreign students, around 40% of the campus is made of foreign students, from Dolgavia, Endralon, Indrala or Deltaria, thanks to many programs and strong investment from the Lodamese authorities.
Mayoral Plaza is a smaller Plaza, found nearby the
Providence Hall, this Plaza, while smaller and less significant than it's peer Republican Plaza, it has it's beauties, looking like a small paradise detached from the rest, being in front of the Central
Providence Park, seen in the background of this photo. It has the Governor House of
Providence, where the current mayor resides, alongside local bars and cultural buildings. Some people also live here, being very lucky to have the flats and the small shops and bazaars. Small gardens and decorations installed by the government can also be gazed over, with beautiful exotic flowers uncommon in the rest of Lodamun. Fountains and statues also are a good look, with street dancers and magicians ready to offer you unique experience! Lastly, you would wanna check out Museum of Games, where part of the Red Gamer headquarters are, as part of offering the public more knowledge on Red Gamer, rather having all studios or important tools there. Parades are also fun to join, as the capital is warm or in great conditions all year round, with some snow once in a while.
Central
Providence Park is a major park in
Providence, renown for the green lush and it's size, where people can recreate and enjoy time with family and their pets. From beautiful trees, to squirrels and small sized animals, as well fountains and hills to hike, the well cared and funded park offers tourists and locals the best place to smoke or talk while walking, jog or admire the surroundings, as part of nature brought to the middle of
Providence. It has around 600 acres, and gets the view of over 10 million visitors annually. The huge park offers people the view they would only dream to be found in a city.
Old Alley is a long series of small roads without access for cars where residents live. It is renown for the small but beautiful paved roads and the hanging balconies colored in different nuances and with a style similar again to Istalia and Cildania. While tourists will have to walk, they will come across beautiful people and food to be tested, as well the small but cozy coffee shops. While it may get clumsy, the government imposes certain visit quotas per day to ensure that the locals get days of quietness and the streets do not get overwhlemed and packed with people that may lead to congestions. These living quarters found on Old Alley are found south in the Old Center, closer to the metropolitan areas. The good weather in Andalay makes this location perfect four tourists alike to come and visit.

Temples for you to visit!Since the open society promoted by Socialist authorities, Lodamun has offered tourists breathtaking natural sites, parks and ancestral buildings and villages, especially up the Lindar river, however "temple tourism" only recently boomed with the opening of lot of shrines and temples to the public eye. While this change in policy brought admirers, it also makes praying less calm and the views filled with people as locals demand proper regulations. Profits from "temple tourism" alone make up 20% of total net worth of the tourist industry. Most important shrine is Rabbit's Pass, and considered a very old temple made out of wood found on the east side of Kregon. Despite the regional tendencies toward repressing local foreign religious denominations to them, Rabbit's Pass or Oyuku has survived the test of time. It is highly visited by people with thousands doing journey to it and admiring the landscapes and the temple itself. Other temple seem to be built in Gao Shawon style or similar to forest temples of the Ezicists. Most spectacular temples can be found in Transkregonia, however that is hard to access due to local opposition.

Legendary heroes and artistic conventionsLodamun has rich history. Up until now it was highly unknown, but with research teams and with formation of
Historical Research Institute, Lodamun will rediscover its roots at last. Only if it was so easy, our research teams have offered only few results so far, with interesting discoveries of Seko artifacts like in Kregon, but as well Artanian style objects and writing style, more links with Luthorian language and similarities of it with Lodamese language. Furthermore, Lodamese experts have revealed to the public an ancient poem wrote by what it appears to be Starya. The poem is yet to be understood, wrote in old Selucian language, found near Golavian shores. How it got here its a mystery. Some suggests it may be a paper exchanged by Selucians with Lodamese merchants on the coasts, other think this guy traveled to Selucia. Other minor stuff are pots, coins and skeletons dug out where historical research sites were established.
Meanwhile, a very important legend has been revealed, alongside an image in a secluded city, Kregon, in what it appears to be a nobleman warrior defending his lands from other landlords invading his. While more details are about to come, the discovery came with ancient Luthorian text, dated around XIV century AD. It is presumed to be about Kregonians fighting among themselves. The story is told in a poem style. It has parts that hint toward the battles pursued, as well praising him and venerating his courage. It appears he had defeated a ten times larger army by attracting them on a rocky tight mountain road, from where the enemies would be ambushed with rolling stones that would end the campaign for the invaders. Other parts of the poem hint toward courage as a way of life, alongside with lowkey philosophical messages spread around. It has around 150 verses, however parts are missing.
Last part is about artistic conventions held by Lodamun in these times, with festivals not only around music, but as well arts, dance, sculpture as a way of promoting cultural activity in Lodamun. While Lodamese general populace IQ has increased from 79 to 98, cultural activity spiked a lot, thanks to heavy investments into universities and academia, as well national programs rolled by the state to promote such behavior. For this Years of Pride represents an important event where people gather and show their talents alongside plans on future of cultural life of Lodamun. Heck, even food is more diverse, with new meatballs cooked on grill making people go crazy as one of the best and simple dishes found around here. Smashed potatoes are another dish popular around here, especially in Andalay where whole cuisines dedicate effort and time to such dishes to be as perfect and varied.

Ellington, another jewel to visit! What do you know about Lodamun? Or about cities in there? Are there even such thing? Well, for our dear curious readers who venture in our papers, we do have cities, and oh boy what cities! Far from the typical lifeless common global urbanite, where grey buildings glitter your view or sky-scrappers blocking the sun and blinding you with the glass reflecting the lightwaves, it is whole new world once you step in Lodamun. Ellington is no stranger to this rule. The less big but quiet and charming city, found on the beautiful coasts of Rapula is renown for the somewhat Istalian inspired architecture, having a great amount of buildings that follow an interesting pattern, as well being spread around on an elevated hill, giving great exotic looks you don't wanna miss. The tickets are fairly cheap, and for a low rent and great people and services you get a memorable view to the sea and be able to admire the city in its entirety with free transport and top-class guides. All found in Ellington. Summer the city is in lights at night, with carnivals happening there, and during the day it is more calm, however the plaza with bazaars will push you into a world of smells and interesting souvenirs to buy. Locals are ready to help and the quota on tourists ensure you get to enjoy city without too many tourists ruining the surroundings. The city is also fairly clean. Once in a while the city holds parties and installs an amusement park for kids and adults, as well circus and grand theater operas with "Le Souer". Other details is that cars are banned, so you will be encouraged to use the bus or the bikes, however traveling by train, especially inland Rapula, will offer views of nature and experience traveling like around 1900s with a steam powered train. While it is not fast, it allows tourists succumb to the natural beauties.
