Polls for the coming elections
September 26, 4263

The current crisis in Rapula will have its effect on the elections next year. It seems that people are losing faith in the social-liberals. The parties that are currently in coalition would profit from this.
The quick reaction of both LNC and the renamed GCPoL gives the people confidence they have made the right choices three years ago. It is more than certain that these two parties will hold their seats and will even gain some. The change in political course of GCPoL might cause the voters to stand a bit reluctant against this party, but most people do not seem to make to big of a deal of the changes.
Question now is: how many voters will we see in September next year? If little people show up the elections might eventually cause some landslide.

Rapula crisis not over yet
December 2, 4263

Good news from the Province of Rapula. The water plant that was out of order because of the bombing in September has been repaired. Engineers are now testing the plant and if all goes well, the troops sent to Rapula to provide citizens with drinking water would leave the site at the end of the week.
Governor Vangenae was pleased with the speed the works have been done. He thanked all of the engineers, as well as the troops that helped both with the construction of the plant as with the emergency distribution of water.
On the other hand, not all is well in Rapula. The border regions still have a violence problem, but the bombings have more or less been halted. The Governor explained: "We now know that the agressors are residing in our nation, since the borders are completely closed. Not a fly could pass the border without being checked. We will need the military for a certain period, since the problems haven't been resolved yet. But we're on the good way. Curfew has been installed in September, and now has been changed from 10 PM till 6 AM. I hope we can delete the curfew soon, but in my opinion it just isn't safe enough."

If they want war, they'll get war
Vice-President furious about outcome Rapula investigation
April 5, 4264

The investigation about the violence in Rapula has reached some conclusions about the who and how, but not yet about the what. It was the Minister of Internal Affairs that adressed the people with the results up to now.
"The uprising of violence in Rapula last year was, as we suspected, caused by certain individuals who have their origins in other nations. These people have a couple of things in common: they envy our peaceful way of life, they are jealous, they wish to undermine our spirit and are trying to infiltrate our political system in order to force themselves into our nation and profit it. For a certain amount of time, the investigators looked at the Septembrists, who claim to be a peaceful cult themselves. Now, a couple of people have been arrested after intensive searches in several buildings in the border region. These individuals were planning a massive attack in the coastal region of Rapula. Luckily they were stopped, but we must assume that there are more of these individuals roaming around and hiding within our borders untill they are being ordered to come out and try to overthrow our peaceful society. They will fail."
Vice-President Ndour reacted on behalf of LNC: "For centuries our nation has tried to form a multicultural but cohesive group, were each individual was to be respected and were each individual tried to benefit the greater cause. It seems that our hospitality has caused a failure of this system. These pieces of filth should be hanged on the spot. I will not tolerate such behaviour within the borders of this glorious nation. LNC stands for stability, security and welfare. We will provide these our way. All people residing in our nation have gotten a fair chance to adapt, they have been offered a good life with plenty of freedom. And yet, they want more. We will try to get these individuals out of our nation through legislation, polite as we are. This is war!"

Environmental disaster sabotage?
December 8, 4264

Rapula was once again struk. This time it was a leak in a chemical factory that caused a devastating environmental drama. The police have now discovered that there might be sabotage involved. One employee, a chief engineer, has been arrested.
A massive amount of fluid chemicals were released in the soil and waterways around the factory, slowly killing all flora in the broad environment. The local government asks the citizens not to use groundwater for consumption and not to eat or use fruits and vegetables from their own yard. It is currently unknown how far the impact of these chemicals will stretch, but a specialist confirmed that we will feel the effects of this for a long time and in a large region.
The Minister of Defence has offered material and personnel to assist in the clearing of these chemicals.
Initial investigation has shown that the chemicals were released on purpose. One of the employees who didn't show up for work today was arrested while he tried to cross our national borders, trying to flee the nation. The man, a Hosian male aged 43, had worked in the factory for almost 20 years and knew the facility. He is currently being interrogated on accusation of voluntarily causing this disaster. Whether or not he did it on purpose will be the number one question in this investigation.
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Paternoster, commented on these events: "This man should be trialed as soon as possible to set an example for the rest of the nation. He has tried to poison our environment, and with it our citizens and our nation. I would even call this treason."

The end of all suffering
November 2, 4265

Port Golavia- It has been decided: the Presidium has unanimously accepted Lodamese Nationalism as the renowned state religion. From this moment on the head of the state religion will be the President of Lodamun. At the same time, the Presidium voted on which religions would be recognized inside the borders.
Minister of Education and Culture, Maxence Dubach, has called this moment historical: "For years we have suffered, dealing with ridiculous demands of certain groups that didn't align with the Nationalist way of life. The last year was tremendously hard, especially for the people of Rapula. This problem should be solving itself right now."
The Minister of Internal Affairs demands to stay civilized: "It is not because one's religion isn't welcome in Lodamun, that we should get rid of the individual itself. We shall try to convert those with unwanted religions, and otherwise we will make sure those people are safe nevertheless. Obviously, we would ask such individuals to leave the country, but we cannot force them to do so."

Kregon declared Nationalist
August 9, 4269

The Province of Kregon has been declared Nationalist. Governor Joseph Demaeght this morning declared that there is only one religion to be found in his Province: Lodamese Nationalism. All signs of any other religion has vanished.
"Today is a great day for the Province and for the Republic. I have been informed that the last family, unwilling to convert to our national religion, has left the nation. I have ordered the reformation or destruction of any symbol that could go against our national law. My Province at last has been liberated from these parasites. Kregon will live by law as it has done for many years."
It wasn't easy for Governor Demaeght to clear his Province, and he is the only one that can show us figures on the people that live in his Province: "Because we already had a database with everyone's religion, it wasn't too hard to find the rotten appels in the basket. Honestly, Kregon has been rather Nationalist for many years, unlike some of the other Provinces. We had a lot of people trun their backs on their former religion and convert to the one true religion, others have been persuaded to leave the nation. The last family, a Hosian couple with 3 children, have been put on a plane yesterday. I know that the other Provinces will have a bit more problems to kick out the rats, but I'm sure we are heading towards a rat-free nation."
Minister of Education and Culture Maxence Dubach said to be proud of Demaeght ad that he is willing to give up his seat in favour of the Governor to thank him for his astonishing work.

The end of chairman Ndour?
May 5, 4276

Zouzou Ndour, chairman of LNC, didn’t succeed in putting back his party in charge of the nation, though given a fair amount of time. Some party officials openly questioned the ability of and most of all their trust in the chairman.
“For 28 years I have led the party. 28 years during which we achieved some of our important goals. Being a democracy, all parties in Lodamun have to compromise every now and then, which we did most of the time. I would like to thank all of you fort he support I’ve been given during my chairmanship. I believe, and others with me, that now would be a good time to resign as party number one.”
Zouzou has promised chairmanship elections soon.

Will Brogni change political course?
August 2, 4276

With an astonishing 99,8% members of LNC have accepted Carolus Brogni and his team to represent the party. Brogni has promised to change the political landscape, starting with the party’s executive.

No one dared to compete with Brogni in the race to chairmanship. The promises Brogni has made are daring and yet very ambitious, and he was presented by former chairman Ndour himself. Eventhough Zouzou Ndour was challenged a few months earlier, he still is one of the most respected men within the party. Almost 100% of the voters accepted Brogni and his strategic vision fort he political future of the party.
After the announcement of the election results, he already fulfilled his first promise: within the borders of the party, each individual is equal but can have its own specialties and talents. Representatives will be chosen on their specific talents. The chairman will from now on be known as Party Representative.
Some other promises give us an idea of the course Brogni is planning to sail.
“Lodamun has to be a nation that lives and exists by politica land Nationalist doctrine. The only religion allowed in Lodamun would be Lodamese Nationalism. All those who refuse to support this ideology are refusing to participate in the good working of the state and are therefore enemies of the state. Enemies are not welcome here. We will get rid of them, if necessary using lethal force. To outline this ideology and to make the plan work, I have chosen Mr. Lex Gorky as Representative of Nationalist Education. He will be my right hand in whatever decision necessary fort he welbeing of the state and its citizens.”
Brogni also said that foreign ambassadors and representatives should be treated as any citizen of Lodamun. Realizing it would be quite impossible to have them converted to the national religion, he said it would be best to constrain them at their embassies and not giving them the right to set foot on Lodamese soil without consent of the President. If they do so, they would be subject to prosecution.
International ties should be brought back to the necessary minimum. Lodamun shouldn’t interfere anywhere outside our borders and we will not accept interference from abroad.
For these matters he has chosen Mr. Ian Krackeel as Representative of International Matters.
Representative of National Matters is Mrs. Anja Demuzere. She will be charged with the construction of a new federal model fort he state. Brogni wants the Governors and Mayors to be representatives that oversee the strict obedience of the law.
Minister of Defence Vergoote has been thanked for many years of service and has been asked to resign as Minister immediately. Colonel Manu Karacz will bet he new party Representative for Defence. His task will be to construct a new military model and implement this in the existing branches in the Defence Department.
Brogni concluded: “My first task as Representative will be a proposal to reform the Cabinet. Our coalition will have the choice to accept us or to continue without us. Our demands are fair and we will achieve our goals in the next few years to come.”
