Elections end in failure for LCP, is Lodamun economy facing issues?

Workers' Textiles journal

Workers' Textiles had started major projects of building alongside new 20 factories, as well shops and help centers for the poor people in the regions where it activates. The new 20 factories will cost 10 million LODs and will use the latest technologies in term of production lines, with best equipment and working conditions. The boutiques as well the cloth shops will be opened and provided with locally produced clothes from Workers' Textiles but not only. These, alongside the help centers will help offer everyone proper clothes, as these often will sell clothes with cheap prices or even hand out free clothing to the poorer classes.

This had come with large appreciation from the people where the company activates, boosting it's popularity. Furthermore, in Malivia, for example, the company began opening subsidized locally owned private schools that are aimed at offering free education to people, regardless of statuses. This education is aimed at helping the individuals learn jobs, especially in the textile sector, as well offer them the knowledge normally they would not be able to get. The schools are non-profit, free of charges and is non-politicized, as these school's aims are not to brainwash, but to educate. The local Malivian Workers' Textiles branch also decided to offer free clothing and subsidies into the local communities they work in to further the goal of helping the people, and pushing further the socialist model of doing business in which the people are the priority, and not the profits. Other branches of the company are expected to follow the suit, with new factories being built all across Terran and Lodamun.

Meanwhile, the local branch of Malivia had also issues with the government, as this had been trying as of lately to stifle the company's activities. The last actions of trying to inspect the company's revenue for suspected tax evasion and more ended without much results, furthering the transparency and lawfulness of the company, set to respect the regulations and be ethical in the business it is conducting. Many from Malivian government still fear of socialist subversive propaganda being spread by these factories, despite no evidence had emerged and will never do, since there is no propaganda allowed in these factories in the first place. The officials of the Workers' Textiles Malivian Branch said:

"It is truly depressing that we have to face so much discrimination and conspiracy theories thrown left and right about us without clear evidence to back them up, its like these people care about stopping us through all the means possible, motivated by various political and economic reasons. We will succumb to all regulations possible, although we do question most of it as being made up against our company, which had not broke any laws so far and always offered best living and working conditions for it's workers, renowned for transparency and the democratic egalitarian atmosphere it presented."

Lodamese economy to be shaken?

Following the recent recession in Deltaria, one important economic investor and ally of Lodamun, as well general global economic downfall, the Lodamese economy is expected to suffer some hits, although not so strong as in other nations, thanks to the socialist policies ("The politics of being sovereign"). These policies ensured most of the economic growth to be Lodamese and not foreign, thus 70% of the economic output it is Lodamese, while the 30% represent foreign investments, especially from Endralon, Deltaria and Kalistan. Despite the lack of great performance from the Lodamese economy, despite it's low growth rate, the economic policies of the socialists prevented a major economic disaster, as most of the capital is Lodamese. Though some drops in the GDP as well a possible economic recession is expected if the global situation is not getting itself back on track, as Deltarian internal turmoil caused the influx of capital from there to stop, thus leaving Lodamun with less capital.

The issue might grow as the Nationalist government did not moved a single finger, and despite their inactivity, they won the elections again, meaning more possible inactivity and thus allowing for economic collapse. However the Lodamese socialists will lobby for change, be it on the streets or as advisory bills in the Presidium, to ensure that the economy is helped in these dire times. While the government had been inactive, most of socialist projects had concluded with great success. The reforms as well economic and pro-development projects ended with helping the infrastructure, educational and healthcare systems develop, as well provide funds for the local governments and companies grow and help prop up the decaying Lodamese economy. If the next elections end with LCP winning, it will ensure new major economic and social reforms to be done, as the previous reforms which had liberalized the Lodamese society greatly, such as setting the adulthood age to 16, reform rejoiced by many teens.

Socialist militia to further training

Socialist Brigade, formed in Providence few years back, had reached 30 000 active members, with heavy equipment and weaponry bought through the black markets or from the Communes, as well with ease thanks to the liberal laws in term of owning guns and having to form a militia, which are free from regulations, thus allowing for movements to grow in strength. The Socialist Brigade had seen this rise in members, and in military capabilities, owning own base and training quarters, where they had been training intensely as of lately. The organization is set to train the new recruited members and provide valuable knowledge in terms of tactics: guerrilla warfare being the tenet of this militia, as well ambush, defending buildings, hiding, long range targets as well sprinting and safely repositioning (mobility).

Mubarak, the leader of this organization had stated that "The movement is increasingly growing, with new recruiters every week willing to join in and defend the socialist ideals.". The Brigade announced as well plans to help the local communities via community service, donations and defense. The militia did not showed itself yet as a threat, although many speculate that it will play a major role in the future, when is stronger. The increasingly violent, militant and extremist nature of Lodamese Left led to massive mob groups responsible for violent clashes and protests, to counter protests ending in bloodshed as well militias ready to steamroll the Presidium. This is, for some, not a good sign of stability in Lodamun, although the last decade brought some peace and stability to the nation.

Iron production set to increase

Iron production had been generally low, with Lodamese industry having to rely on exports from various nations that exported minerals. But not anymore. The socialist reforms and relief funds for the small companies as well an emphasize on economic growth and self sufficiency brought new capital into the long gone Lodamese mining sector: the iron mining companies. Given the fact that Lodamun is a heavily socialist nation in nature, the new company was owned by the workers and safeguarded by the state. The Lodamese Iron company opened its gate few months ago with several mines in the Kregonese mountains, down south. These mines offered locals new profitable jobs as well development for local communities. These mines offered valuable minerals, but especially the iron, which is to be found in great quantities. These veins of iron ores were left, abandoned, as years, centuries, the local communities showed reticent to modernity and to companies, thus hindering the chance of exploiting the minerals the Kregonese mountains have to offer. These minerals are now though accessible and with a possible governmental project to pass, the siderurgical and metallurgical sectors might grow exponentially, alongside the production of cast iron, steel and other metal related components. This growth might launch the steel industry and offer best steel, be it even stainless.

Despite all of these benefits, the reopening of iron mines might signal an ecological disaster. Lodamun's environmental laws are one of the harshest and stringent, allowing for great fauna and flora, as well natural beauties, the Kregonese mountains being renowned for its wild, raw beauty. Though the recent iron mines might change that some specialists say. The Lodamese Socialists, despite their environmental stances, stated that "this is a needed reform for the economy which will serve the people. This will be coupled with stringent regulations, future investments into ecological projects, and designation of natural reservations as well reforestation of the lost wood.". It is yet to be seen what will be the ecological impact of these mines and their operations, but one thing is for sure: it will bring growth.

Communes and Lodamun mutual projects, Communal situation

The Cooperation Bill opened the gates for stronger economic and diplomatic relationships with the Communes. Despite the recent statements of the PNG-led government about the Communes (here last comment), the Communes and Lodamun had came more together, under the bill, allowing for project to benefit both sovereign states. One of this is being the housing projects that allowed for proper housing for Lodamese and anarchist alike to enjoy having own home, regardless of economic status. The nationalization of housing and estate in Lodamun brought with it plenty of space to be redistributed fairly among people, allowing for families to enjoy having a living space and a roof above the head without needing to pay exorbitant prices. This eliminated as well the housing market which is responsible for the commodification of housing and for the exorbitant prices pushed by the landlords. Now, with the reforms put in place, the government had finished already 100 000 new homes for Lodamese people, whether they live in the GDR or in the United Communes.

Other economic projects were planned, though the socialists losing power all these projects were suspended and waiting further approval from the government.

Lodamese band "Eclipse" to participate to international music contest
(OOC inspiration: above and beyond band)

Following the appearance of the idea of an international singing contest started in Deltaria, and with the cultural development of Lodamun, it ended with Lodamun sending in a band to the FOMAT. The competition, who originally started in Deltaria, brings all nations into a contest for best band, each nation endorsing a delegate of musicians from their own nations to the host nation, which is the winner of the last session. The competition is set to attract more people and revenue, Lodamun is happy to be able to send a band this time around, as the last time it was unable to send a band to the competition. Meanwhile, the cultural life of the Communes as well Lodamun developed under the previous governments, leading to new bands to rise up to prominence in the Lodamese regions and even nationally. These bands brought with them unique genres, playstyles, songs and ideas. It was a hard choice for Lodamun to send a band to FOMAT, as a lot of bands signed in for being approved, giving the best on the scene. Many had been eliminated, leaving up to the new fledgling Trance (combined with other sub genres and genres) band, called "Eclipse", responsible for albums such us "Under the Stream" or "Beyond Everything Known". These musicians brought an interesting style to the competition, the Trance genre, now in an electronic way.

Talking to the band, their are optimistic to impress well the Hutorian judges with this unique genre of music. The leader of the band, Carlo Viola had stated that the music their doing will definitely win the hearts of the Hutorian crowds and of the judges. The members of the band presented themselves very happy to be the ones appointed by the Lodamese authorities and will do in their best to present the vibrant Lodamese culture to the rest of the world, and maybe possibly win. The band had also revealed what song will be put forward: more exactly "Telling me that birds don't fly", from the album "Beyond Everything Known", telling the story of a breakup, in a poetical, trance inducing manner, with the electronic instruments having the role of making up the perfect ambiance. The song had been posted upon the band's website.

Workers' Textiles Journal

Workers' Textiles wins against Malivian government over baseless claims of pursuing illicit activities such as tax evasion, company local representative states that he's happy to hear that justice was made and that the truth is out. In his opinion, Malivian government is "pursuing own interests at the expense of it's own people and other organizations, resulted from the many past cases with similar circumstances, be it the fake terrorists sent back to Lodamun, be the internal preferences for certain people above others, be it discriminating hosians, be it our company which had played fair all the time but was in the middle of made up conspiracies by the RNP."

Meanwhile the company is set to grow it's production, with five new factories and numerous shops. It expects more nations to open it's gates to and fund more the local communities. The Workers' Textiles symbolic representative, Karl Vick had said that his organization will continue its fashion of doing business in a decentralized and worker based take, continuing the successful socialist model and helping the people who are lucky to work for the said company. The company has a clean history and a tradition in respecting it's own customers and workers.

Indralan-Lodamese trade deal

Indralan diplomatic corp led by Long Huo had garnered as of lately the support of LCP and PNG respectively in signing an economic trade deal with Indrala. Lately, Indrala had showed increasingly interests in Seleya, with numerous programs, treaties and projects with other governments situated in Seleya, such as Kanjor, Kalistan, and now Lodamun. Following discussions between the delegates sent by each Lodamese party, and Long Huo, it came to a conclusion that Lodamese ties with Indral will be improved. This came as of Indrala defending the national sovereignty of Lodamun and allowing for diplomatic solutions to end the civil war, as well Indrala recognizing the United Communes of Orean and Martin, which implied closer ties with Providence.

This was formalized through private talks with the Socialists, who agreed to a future trade agreement treaty on socialist grounds. The treaty would allow easing the travel of people between the two nations, cultural exchanges, increased diplomatic missions, possible economic projects, partnerships, as well lowering tariffs on products coming from Indrala to Lodamun and vice versa. This treaty will bring benefits to Lodamun as well as plenty of investors willing to help the economy grow. The Lodamese economy is expected thus to develop considerably, with new investors coming in, with national thriving sectors and companies and with close allies such as Deltaria regaining it's strengths will lead to a more stable and more innovative Lodamese economy.

Lodamese Iron expands activities, ores to be exploited

Lodamese Iron company had announced 3 new mines and a project worth 1 billion LODs in rejuvenating the mining industry of Lodamun, for possible even reopening the metallurgical and siderurgical industries which would boost the Lodamese economy indefinitely. Following successes made by opening few mines in the Kregonian mountains, the company expanded it's base of operation, while increasing the output and the profits. The workers' rights are respected by default, with workers having substantial wages and right to decision making alongside the representative of the company. The mining sector in Lodamun will offer plenty of ores and minerals to be brought to daylight and be exploited for the benefit of the citizens and for exports to the nations in need.

Mines reopening, be it copper, coal or bauxite have created new economic opportunities for Lodamese economy, but also created a bunch of trouble as environmentalists started protesting the new companies exploiting the minerals and ores, and fiercely opposing any drilling and fracking attempt, with large campaigns and local protests in the mountains, forcing the government to rethink their policies and bring the issue to the Presidium to be discussed and solutioned. Meanwhile, the company Lodamese Iron stated that they plan to expand mining operations in the area and continue their work, and even collaborate with a possible new company that would process the raw materials of Lodamun, as well aid local industries in working with heavy metals like iron.

Lodamun making preparations for Seat C candidature to the Security Council

Lodamun's officials announced a plan of setting Lodamun on the race for Seat C in the Security Council. Lodamun had showed in the last years more and more active on the international stage and in the World Congress. This, combined with a growing economy and army, led to Lodamun to prepare for a possible run for the Seat C, expected to pass and set Lodamun for new heights and visibility. The delegation sent to the World Congress under Nathaniel Levitt stated that "this is an unique opportunity to show to the world what Lodamun can offer". The Lodamese agenda is not yet decided, but is expected to run on a leftist base, around protecting the sovereignty of the nations and lobbying for increased protection for disadvantaged groups or exposed members of the society. While these are still just plans, the officials are taking this seriously and working hard to ensure that everything runs smoothly and the nation is ready for the new challenges and opportunities it will have once entering the SC, the pristine and highest body, responsible for resolutions and decisive actions.

Leftism in Lodamun, a prominent feature? How to save a nation in case of global economy meltdown

Image
Lodamese economy under socialism, how it will prevent economic collapse

Following recent events is not impossible to not have seen the question "Will Lodamun stand strong against the global crash that might be provoked with the collapse of several important economic powers?", which was answered luckily for Lodamun. Several university teachers and leading leftist economists showed that the Lodamese economy will continue to develop slowly and steadily, and despite some sectors being affected, the economy will continue it's stable path. The reasons offered by specialists include the fact that Lodamun does not depend on speculations and the proliferation of the stock markets, they do not depend on a globalist fragile economy and tend to have an economy ready to change focuses, especially during crises. What that means? The experts talked how the socialist economy of Lodamun, not profit driven, will continue to employ people in their factories, and will continue to have farmers tilling the arable plots. The economy thus will continue to move forward and ensure people basic needs such as food, water, clothing, homes and a stable work, which will not disappear because some nation 1000 km away has internal economic issues such as Lourenne. Even if Lodamun has significant sections of economy dependent on foreign aid, investments and transnationals, the economy is mostly made up of Lodamese own capital, as well the lawmakers from Providence can easily soften out the negative effects of the global crash through redistribution, focusing on basic needs of the people, closing in non essential companies, finding new stable investors etc, since they control the economy alongside the local workers' councils who ensure together for a proper economic policy to get Lodamun safely through the issues thrown at them by the neoliberal (and failed) globalist system.

Workers' Textiles Journal

Workers' Textile has reported today significant drop in production and income. Reason? The recent events around the globe had affected Workers' Textile company, who is operating in a lot of Terran nations. Despite the company does not look for profits or doesn't involve itself with proliferation of stock exchanges, the recent turmoil had affected most of capitalist nations where the company operated, thus affecting the transnational worker owned corporation. The economic crashes, the instability and other internal issues of the nations in question led to the demand for textiles to drop for various reasons, provoking losses for the Workers' Textiles who had overproduced in all this time. The many products unable to be sold were given for free though to the people in free shops. Despite this good act of kindness, the company cannot overlook the fact that it's output drastically dropped in many nations and affected its operational index and capacity, stating that:
"The situation is becoming dire, as many nations we used to trade with are now in difficult times and often find themselves unable to maintain the contract with the coops we operate in their respective countries, leading to all kind of internal issues in Workers' Textiles local branches. We hope the best for the respective nations, while we prepare for the worst. If needed, Workers Textiles will ask for subsidies to continue it's operations, if not, it will get to offer clothing for free to those in need"

Workers' Textiles had seen drops in income of billion of LODs for the past months, as well with 5 factories across Terran temporarily stopping it's activities as their products no longer are being sold. The company hopes from the local CEOs to address promptly the situation before it gets out of hand. Many question if the Workers' Textiles will survive without subsidies this global recession, but many are fairly positive. Some dislike the idea for this coop in receiving money from the state fearing it will just ruin the project of demonstrating that independent, private, worker owned companies can succeed on the market, many being attached to the current independent status company. There is a huge possibility nevertheless that Workers' Textiles will seek local subventions or even subsidies straight from Lodamun. The Lodamese branch already benefits from various subventions under the socialist act of reviving local industries.
Image
Housing program planned by Lodamun

Lodamun had experienced over the past decades a great transition to a proper socialist and democratic frame, despite all the struggles, the national lawmakers with the support of the vibrant leftist movements achieved great changes in the policies held by Lodamun. From a feudalist undemocratic, with fascist twists regime, which was highly isolated, hostile to modernity and technologies, foreign to the idea of intellectualism, foreign to the idea of democratic principles, to workers' rights, to women's rights, to LGBT Q rights etc etc. The new Lodamun though, through hard work achieved a more democratic aura, with the democratic process, rule of law and various freedoms fully respected, with a modern legislature and improved state education, with strong healthcare and labor legislation put in place, with workplace democracy and LGBT Q rights respected alongside other rights. The income inequality and the poverty had sharply dropped these decades to below 10%, with illiteracy to below 5%.

Though not all was solved. The crisis in the real estate sector needed for too long changes. Despite socialist compromises and subventions toward this sector to help the people, there were still plenty of Lodamese families living on the streets, unable to afford a house. These things cant go on unchecked or ignored, the Lodamese lawmakers should not forget of the needy. Thus the LCP proposed a project in the Presidium offering a grand project, the Housing act, which will funnel in, up to 15 billion LODs to be used for strengthening the welfare sector of Lodamun. With that much money, in five years the nation will benefit of 200.000 ~ new homes with all the modernity attached to it, from working electricity, sewerage, gas, internet, heat and kitchen, that will be opened for free or on advantageous and affordable rents for the poorest people. This will not stop poverty fully nor ensure everyone has homes, but it will be a great start in which most Lodamese people will live under a roof above their heads. Other billion of LOds will be funneled in social programs like Welfare, where new shelters, help centers and asylums, as well improved rehabilitative facilities for detained people will be constructed across Lodamun, in ensuring that the poorest of them all receive basic education and a second chance to integrate in the society, with programs oriented for example for finding a job by learning and acquiring new experiences and skills. The project is expected to pass, alongside laws to fully socialize this economic sector and abolish the need for landlords.
Image
Mining sector to flourish alongside metallurgical and siderurgical heavy industries

Despite some economic setbacks caused by the recent recessions in other nations, the Lodamese economy is seeing a slow growth, of 0.5% of GDP. This growth is continuing without interruptions its course. The various economic sectors, such as the agriculture or mining industry are continuing to see growth, alongside the shipping and transport. The new growing economic sectors are showing positive or neutral reaction to the impeding global market meltdowns caused with the collapse of Lourenne into chaos. In terms of economy, the government had passed the bill proposed by LCP regarding subventions for the mining sector. Thus, the "Lodamese Iron" alongside various other mining companies and associations received green light for mining and a big boost in form of handouts and help from the officials, upon passing various laws and bills such as this one, who will finally fund the mining sector. This will not come without tight regulations and strictly designated areas of mining, as well incoming future environmental projects for Lodamun. The ministry of Trade and Industry, Carolina Onassis, had officially signed the bill and will be now up to run. The government will plan to inject 1 billion LODs into the mining sector to incentives the companies, including the fledgling "Lodamese Iron" to expand activities. The new money will be used for buying better and more modern equipment, raising the salaries of the workers, improving the working conditions in the mines, opening several more mines, increasing output and easing out the transport and export of iron, through tax reliefs and subventions to cover the cost of transportation, in partnership with Martin's Ships company from the Communes. The projects will entail greater output and large scale modernization of the mining industry. The Lodamese mountains offer a variety of other ores and minerals, such as deposits and veins of gold, copper, bauxite, sulfur, coal and nickel, among other things there are some deposits of topaz and emeralds, although very small. These are expected to be exploited as well, with the new programs to boost the local businesses owned by workers. The reopening of mines will bring back the economic prosperity of Lodamun and increase the export of iron and other minerals on the global market.

Red Gamer to cooperate with Endralonese gaming company

The growing company of videogames from the United Communes had showed increased interest in a partnership with the Endralonese gaming company ENDead. The association with this company is resulted from the keen interest in a new game horror game called Survive(OOC source: Outlast). The game is not yet released or fully designated, but many ship it will be one of the best horror game of this decade, with improved mechanics, graphics and with a complex and deep background story. The game will not present an open world, but rather a scripted story with new places opened to the player as the story progresses. The player will face out different monsters and spooky enemies as he tries to stay in one piece. Further details are not yet out, and a trailer is to be released on Endralonese company page soon with a release date.

The videogame company from Lodamun justified the partnership as an interesting journey in creating a jewel in terms of horror genre. The Red Gamer is opened to fresh experiences and in developing new games with less heavy leftist influence attached to them. With this partnership announcement, had came as well a future game to be developed by Red Gamer, the Communist adventure (OOC source: adventure communist) game. The game is expected to be primarily on mobile and feature an idle genre game.

Libertarian Communist Party disappointed with the elections' results

The elections brought disappointing results: a third consecutive loss for the LCP that crippled the party support, despite their unwavering support for socialism and reformation. Some experts tried to understand why, and many came to the conclusion that the issue why LCP is not winning its the radical platform on which the party runs. Unlike the PNG, the opposing nationalist party, the LCP runs on radical socialist and progressive values, thus hindering the possibility of LCP to gain power. The PNG, despite agreeing with some of the LCP proposed laws, they mostly win because they present themselves moderate, and especially after the unpopular religious and social reforms proposed by LCP, the party lost most of the support from the more conservative branches. The LCP beaten PNG only when the PNG proposed extreme reforms, which led to unpopularity and faith in LCP as the "more moderate party" to stop the persecution of Hosians and more. Though in return they were offered radical progressive agendas such as legalization of all obscene acts in public, including sex, as well, especially the prohibition of religious freedoms, with stringent separation between the state and religious organizations, resulting in oppressive measures in which religions had hard time to work under. This caused massive drop in support and to this day, this may be the reason of the lost elections. Despite the PNG not changing the laws, there is great hope in PNG to reform and fix the disasters made by LCP in terms of legislation. That day had not come yet.

The LCP may propose internal party reforms if the disastrous results keep on coming without a drop of change. The party hopes for the next elections to bring a socialist victory, with new programs under way that will further improve the people's lives. Tho is yet to be seen what will happen. Members of LCP also congratulated the international swift action against terrorist group from Malivia. The party officials are happy everything ended well and the Lodamese hostages returned safely to Lodamun, criticizing the radical organization for promoting cow rights, judged by many in Lodamun as crazy and fundamentalists. Some of the more vegan/vegetarian wing of LCP and the hardliner environmentalist faction see the Cow protection army as a positive thing, outside the religiousity as it fights for animal rights and for environment.

New governmental projects, United Communes develops further, celebrates independence

Image
Mining sector blows, metallurgical and siderurgical strengthening, metal products on the market

Following governmental bills passed in the past decades, as well with adoption of projects to help boost the mining sector, with Lodamese Iron company having large revenue and expanding activity. The locals getting used to their activity in the region as well with environmental plans underway as well with the wealth they bring for the nation and the locals, the mining industry blossomed. Now that Kregonian mountains are opened for exploitation, all kind of minerals and ores had been coming out of them. These resources were sold with success on global market or used for the local, Lodamese developing industry. Resources like gold and copper for example are good use for technological pieces and electrical wires or components like transistors.

Lodamese Iron alongside minor other mining companies owned by workers reported productive years with governmental finances to help them to develop and open even more mines, with iron production raising with more than 200% in the last months. Other companies reported significant growth as well, around 45%. Gold, topaz and rubies quantities doubled in the last month. This growing curve will be flatten sooner or later, but as for now its like a gold rush that rose up from the ground the old mining Lodamese industry. These industries were not the only ones to react positively.

New growing company "Metalurgia", metallurgical and siderugical Lodamese cooperatives under state ownership and protection. The new springing company had been announced as a need for professional processing of these ores and their alloys, to be resulting in iron products. The newly found company with several factories around Lodamun worthy of 10 million LODs had announced it will work in partnership with Lodamese Iron to work on melting and modelling iron, cast iron, nickel and steel into usable components, such as bars, surfaces, pieces to be used for construction of skyscrappers, rails, machine tools, ship hulls, concrete reinforcing bars or for various objects. The production of it will follow the modern techniques such as alloy with carbon through carbonizing it.
Image
United Communes developing economy

Over the past years the Communes showed a strong developing economy. The anarchist committees had showed themselves to work, and decades after independence, the Communes had evolved, through reforms and sustained hard work, alongside help from Lodamun lately through projects and closer diplomatic and economic ties. The Communes gaining general recognition and increased trade benefited the local populace, happy to enjoy constant growing standards of living, with growing investments and new companies in various sectors such as automobile manufacturing or culinary. The shipping industry and the influx of commerce practiced in St Martin and Orean had also helped the local economy flourish, with various new products brought all around and with Martin's Ships company growing rapidly via purchases from Keymon for ships, new built in ships in Lodamun and the increasing demand for transport on water of products. The cargo fleet reached 25 ships, alongside with a brand new ship for transporting people. Some small ferryboats were also employed but had limited usage, alongside the coast more.

The cities can be seen still vibrant as decades ago, with street art such as graffiti covering walls, grass and trees, alongside with flags and revolutionary spirit of the people. Here important scientists and artists make good image for Lodamun, as well where most of LCP members come from. The intellectual clubs are popping out everywhere, while the industry had exploded in growth, doubling or even tripling the output, alongside the modern mechanized collectivized farms bringing enough food for everyone as well surplus to be sold on the market, money to be spent back in local programs. The internet companies from Communes still provide most of internet for the rest of Lodamun. Lodamese officials showed intention to help these companies develop nationally and offer quality internet connection to all Lodamese, no matter from what background.

Meanwhile the band leader, Carlos Viola had stated that:
"FOMAT II was a great show. We loved the atmosphere and the crowds. They loved our music as we loved to sing for them. The judges were amazing and great in their analysis. We are bit sad we did not won the contest but we are nevertheless contented for our results, as we did not expected such good results as a new band to the new competition. Our entry was well appreciated and I bet that other Lodamese bands are waiting for a chance to be heard internationally. For it we will drop out in the next edition of the music festival to let room for smaller bands deserving of audience. I bet that the post rock boys will do a nice impression on the crowds from Kalistan."

Lodamun's companies facing with success the global recession, cooperation ensues

Lodamun had showed that a proper socialist economy can resist the test of time, succeeding to get out well from the recession, with various companies such as Workers' Textiles succeeding to stabilize itself in good time, with profits returning alongside reopening of many of the factories once closed. Other companies had stood the test as well, with or without handouts, bringing in revenue for Lodamun. Companies had started to cooperate with each other in Lodamun, where often the Lodamese Iron or other smaller mining company is seen working with workers from cities or with Metalurgia to work in processing the ores such as iron or copper. Then, the products are often carried with help of Martin's ships. This is not the only cooperation known, but is one of the many examples on how Lodamese work together for the betterment of the nation. Major companies band together to work on great projects and help Lodamese economy and people.

Collectivization of the arable lands is still not over yet, with the law allowing small scale lands for people. Though 67% of the lands had been put under the service of the people, with agricultural communes forming everywhere, increasing the output and the quality of the products, as well modernization and mechanization of the equipment used, from the plow, to tractors and so on. The ministry of agriculture is happy to report that Lodamun has a surplus of food as a result to intensive well planned farming, food to be offered for free for the poor or be sold on the global markets. Production of wheat for example tripled in the last time, with over 250 tonnes of it.

Nationalism is still alive
November 4791

PNG politicians found in Kregon, party running in elections

Kregon - In the mountains of Kregon, a small commune has been discovered lately. This commune mainly consists of PNG politicians and formers MPs that fled after the socialist coup two years ago. During the 'radio silence', they have tried to reinvent the Nationalist party.
Secretary general Edvard Kronstedter officialy declared that his party will take part in the next national elections. Whether or not that will be a success is uncertain. Many citizens are afraid to express their support for the Nationalists, especially after the witch hunt of the last couple of years.
Manfred Golzbach will again be running for the office of Representative of the People. He was the only PNG official that stayed in office after the coup. He had to endorse the socialist supremacy in Presidium, which he saw changed in the Revolutionary Committee. Golzbach said that there have ever since been contacts with the revolutionaries, and even though there are many ideological differences, there was no hostility whatsoever.
