Ellington- At the LR headquarters, chairman Klaus announced that he will be replaced by Ulrika Gronse by the end of the month. An election for chairman was held on January 1st. There were two candidates for the position of chairman. Heinrich Klaus didn't participate.
Klaus thanked a lot of people, mostly for the support he received over the years. He took a moment to remind people how LR got off on the political scene. While none of the major objectives were established, LR did in fact make a political statement that still is being heared.
He also wished Ulrika Gronse the best of luck: "Ulrika, you were there at the very beginning. You were there to celebrate our first successes, which we partially owe to you. You were there to witness our first major setback, against all odds, and you stood up with the heart of a lion. I am proud to call you my successor as party chairman. You will do great. You will make Lodamun great again, as it used to be in the past."
Gronse already showed her will to work and to change: "As we want to return to the good old republic our forefathers knew, we decided to set up a new headquarters in Port Golavia, which used to be the capital of a blooming nation. Our culture and our past is what we should cherish. Lodamese Republicans are on the move, and we will succeed."
