- Hawu Mumenhes President Hermelinda Shelby said that the Hawu government is keeping close watch on developments in the Coburan province of Tokundi as domestic tensions surrounding the Tokundi indepedence referendum continue to rise. The president said peace and stability in the region is essential for Majatra and the international community. Asked if the Hawu government would intervene in the developing conflict, President Shelby said Hawu Mumenhes wants legitimate government sustained in Cobura and its provinces and would be supporting responsible actors who pursue that goal. The Queen's Majesty also granted statements to the press, saying that the Hawu stand with the Coburan people for an orderly and united Cobura. Her Majesty further noted the royal family's concern for the well-being of the Queen's brother-in-law Lord Anwar. Cobura is called 'the foundation' in the Hawu language and is considered by many to be the homeland of the Hawu people. (Summer 4055)
