IeUkN Inks $1 Million Tax Advisory Deal with Luthori Government

Investment banking multinational IeUkN today announced the start of a new consulting engagement with the government of the Holy Luthori Empire. The Arnak-based Hawu Mumenhes company will offer broad macro-economic advisory, especially in the areas of tax, government spending, and public debt. The engagement will be led by the bank's Vice Chairman for Government Finance, Mr. DeQuavius Akhenaten. Asked why IeUkN executives had agreed to take on the contract, Mr. Akhenaten said it was out of a sense of duty. 'Our responsibilities in terms of good corporate citizenship and good neighborliness require us to do our part to contribute to economic health in Luthori,' Mr. Akhenaten said. 'As fellow Artanians, the fate of Luthori consumers will have implications for both Hawu businesses and for business throughout the continent. So for both selfish and selfless reasons, it behooved us to answer the call of the Hosian Democratic Alliance when they asked us to take part in tax restructuring debates in their country,' said Mr. Akhenaten. The advisory engagement is set to begin with a presentation on the HDP's Emergency Tax Proposal of May 4411. (May 4411)

BREAKING: Hawu Mumenhes Vice President Makes Impromptu Visit to Cildania for Secret Talks

The office of Hawu Mumenhes Vice President Julia Warren-Mhaule has informed reporters that the Vice President and a small number of senior adivsors have touched down in the CIldanian capitol for high level talks with the Triosi government. The visit was previously unannounced and Administration spokespersons refused to be drawn out on the reason for the meeting. Some political analysts have speculated that the move is part of a Battersby Administration initiative to shore up Hawu and Imperial beachheads in the region in response to still-simmering tensions in Southern Majatra. Other observers have suggested the trip is merely a courtesy call to thank the Cildanian King for delegating his younger brother Prince Alessandro to represent the Cildanian Royal Family at His Majesty King Nkosinathi's inaugural Nošep Throne speech, and to smooth over any lingering disappointment regarding the former Morrison Administration's refusal to meet Alessandro during the Throne Speech visit due to his family's non-official status at the time.
