The Kazulian News Broadcasting Service is happy to announce that our offices have been relocated from Thorgerd to the Kazulian capital, Skalm. This relocation should allow the KNBS to better serve the people of Kazulia; bringing the best in Kazulian and Dovanian news and a distinctly Kazulian analysis of world events to the citizens of the Nordiske Republikken av Kazulia.

We look forward to this new era of the KNBS and are hopeful that this relocation will mark the beginning of a golden age of Kazulian journalism.

H+ Paradigm Celebrates Its Impending 100th Anniversary
Announces Month-Long Celebration Beginning June 1st, 2773

Today, during a televised address, Vice-Archon Katerina Algudsen announced plans for a month-long celebration of the 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Paradigm; beginning June 1st, the Paradigm shall sponsor a series of concerts, street festivals, contests and other festive events across the Nordiske Republikken av Kazulia. These events shall be free to attend and will be open to all Kazulian citizens.

Venstre Hopeful for Next Elections



Thorgerd, Flindar -- The newly formed party, Venstre, has expressed high hopes for the next elections in Kazulia that are set for March 2781. The party was founded as an alternative to the radical control over the government and to the largely politically inactive existing alternatives (the Liberal Coalition, Middle Party, and Democratic Pacifists). Despite not holding any seats in the Stortinget, Venstre has managed to propose various bills that would reduce the government control of the economy and loosen some of the authoritarian policies created by H+ Paradigm. The most well known of the Venstre legislation, the only bill not to go to vote, is the National Kazulian Reform Act. This act would remove the Archon and Vice-Archon, replacing them with the traditional Statssjef and Statsminister. The NKRA would also replace the current flag with a flag that has been referred to as "transitional" and features design that represents the Kazulian culture, other than the current flag which Chairman J. Stoltenberg referred to as having "a Satanic color scheme". The Paradigm attacked Venstre also for its proposal to move the capital back to its historic location at Thorgerd, also stating that the city is "largely flattened", disregarding the fact that it has been many decades since the Thorgerd Crisis; an event fueled by party's similar to the authoritarian H+ Paradigm.

The party was put in an uproar earlier this week the H+ Paradigm's proposal to outlaw religion once again in Kazulia. J. Stoltenberg issued a statement attacking the proposal and to say, "If such a thing actually does passes, I encourage all our party members, all our supporters, and all Kazulians to continue to practice religion and defy the laws of the Paradigm. The freedoms that Kazulia once had are largely gone as it is and we cannot allow the Paradigm to continue their strangle on freedom and democracy!"

This November the voting process will end on the dozens of bills currently on the floor of the Stortinget and there are rumors that Venstre may then call for an early election in hopes of gathering up support from unhappy supports of the DPP, MP, and LCK, and also citizens who haven't been voting due to the poor choices. The party will be running on a platform of returning and ensuring freedoms, promoting a strong economy, restoring the education system, and promoting relations with Dovani neighbors in Greater Hulstria, Sekowo, and other nations.

Venstre Celebrates Huge Victory



Skalm, Dreton - The hopes of Venstre came true yesterday with a huge victory in the much anticipated elections of 2781. Chairman Johann Stoltenberg lost the First Round of the Archon elections by quite an amount, but in the Second Round he came back winning many of the votes from the Liberal Coalition, Mitten Partiet, and Democratic Pacifists. Stoltenberg beat out Vice Archon Katerina Algudsen by almost fifty million votes; 61% to 38%. Upon the news of this victory Venstre supporters celebrated their victory and their gain into parliament.

"We may not be the largest party yet, but this election was an absolute success, even going further than we even expected!" proclaimed Venstre member and cousin to Johann, Marius Stoltenberg. "The people of Kazulia have clearly expressed their feeling that they want democracy back and not this hybrid democratic dictatorship that still has remnants in our country. Venstre will fight to bring back democracy and end everything that ever came from the socialist rule of the H+ Paradigm."

Archon J. Stoltenberg first plans to create a new government coalition, though it is not yet known what parties it will contain. He and his party also plan to use their new seventy-five seats, with the help of other liberal parties, to push through legislation to "privatize and democratize" the country. The Archon has even expressed interest in possibly proposing the National Kazulian Reform Act, which would abolish the Office of the Archon, create the Statssjef, shorten election terms, and many other democratic reforms that haven't been seen for nearly a hundred years.

Vice-Archon Katerina Algudsen Resigns as Party Leader.
Successor Named.

Skalm, Dreton During a noon-press conference, Vice-Archon Katerina Algudsen announced her resignation as the leader of the Paradigm. Vice-Archon Algudsen declined to discuss the specific reasons behind her decision to resign, but it is widely believed her consistent lack of success in the Archonal elections and rising dissatisfaction amongst party powerbrokers, especially within the top-ranks of the party paramilitary organization, the Paradis Speciell Aktivitet Division (PSAD) led to today's announcement.

Vice-Archon Algudsen had served as the leader of the Paradigm since the death of her grandmother, Sigrid Algudsen, in 2762. She will continue to serve as Vice-Archon until a new cabinet is passed by the Stortinget.

It was also announced that Jannike Marklund, granddaughter of Viktoria Marklund, founding member and former Kazulian Defence Minister, would succeed Vice-Archon Algudsen as party leader.

Venstre Warns of Possible Violence


Venstre MP, Mark Rehman, Warns Reporters of Paramilitary Violence

Thorgerd, Hent -- Heated debate continues this month in the Stortinget over the Venstre resolution to put a complete ban on the operation of paramilitaries with no exceptions given by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The H+ Paradigm quickly deemed the resolution as a "more dictatorial move than anything" they've "ever attempted". Today Mark Rehman, a Venstre MP, spoke with reporters at the Venstre Headquarters in Thorgerd. The main issue was the current tension in the Stortinget, especially with the Paradigm. The first thing mentioned by Rehman was the Paradigm's dictatorial statement, "The Paradigm has called our call for a paramilitary ban something more dictatorial than anything they have ever done. Clearly they are oblivious to their continually dictatorial bills that propose illegalizing religion, removing all property rights, among other bills as well. We are not the only democracy to outlaw paramilitaries; Greater Hulstria has done so, and other nations throughout Terra as well."

Rehman then moved on to what has become a controversial matter within the current government coalition. The Paradigm has called for the resignation of Minister of Foreign Affairs Marius Stoltenberg accusing him of divided loyalties and a so-called commonsense idea that only citizens can hold those offices, despite the Constitution and no law, stating such a thing. Minister M. Stoltenberg arrived at the press conference for this part and stated, "The Paradigm seems to be seeking a double-standard yet again. Our party has a resolution, as you all know, right now calling for the ending of all paramilitaries, including Paradigm's. The Paradigm has shown open dislike of the bill and has shown that they may probably keep their paramilitary active, even after the resolution passes and fight against those who attempt to arrest them. Well, if they aren't going to follow the paramilitary resolution, then I am not going to resign as Minister of Foreign Affairs!"

The last statement by Rehman was a warning to all Kazulians, "It is clear that the H+ Paradigm has a complete disregard for personal freedom, national security, and the following of laws.They've made remarks that lead to the prediction that when the paramilitary resolution passes, their paramilitary will not be disbanded and we may see acts of violence committed by the Paradigm. I encourage all people to be alert and report suspicious activity, especially in the Kelvon Herramark, to the police. The Ministers of Defence and Justice are closely monitoring the current landscape and even more so come June 15."

Top Paradigm Officials Visit Cobura
Meets With Coburan Military Officials

Augustus, Cobura -- Earlier today, a Paradigm press release announced that a number of leading Paradigm officials, including party leader Janikke Marklund and former Kazulian Minister of Defence, Aina Algudsen, have traveled to Cobura to meet with representatives of the Revolutionary Party of Cobura and with a number of high-ranking members of the Coburan Armed Forces.

The purpose of the trip and the issues which will be discussed with the Coburans were not disclosed. However, it seems likely that the recently proposed, Complete Illegalization of Paramilitaries resolution may have influenced the timing of this trip.

His Excellency the former elected Archon of Nordiske Republikken av Kazulia and Kazulias colonial positions died yesterday by a heart attack in the Katarina Algudsen hospital in Skalm. Ramo served 4 terms as HOS and were a popular and caring Archon for the people of Kazulia both the ones that shared his political stances and the members of other Kazulian Parties.

Ramo were born in Skalm in 2694 his father were a banker and his mother a nurse died while giving birth, his father than remarried to the mayor of Skalm which were a official from KKP (Kazulias Kommunistiske Parti). 18 years old after the completion of high school Ramo entered the Kazulian Church of The Holy Savior and became a priest in their underground communities (recurring bans on religions were usual at that time.) During his time as a priest he and other members of the different religious society in Kazulia Started a broad coalition of grasroot movements, democracy committes and frustrated members of Mitten Partiet and Demokratisk Pasifist Partiet. Due to recurring bans on religious activity Ramo and his family fled to exile in Hulstria. Ramo did not return to Kazulia until 2749 when the fruits of his labor resulted in 13 out of 75 seats in the Stortinget. Ramo is today known as one of the architects behind the current Kazulian legislation and his hard work provided tough compromises with Demokratisk Pasifist Partiet, Mitten Partiet , Euphemism Assembly, most recently Venstre and sometimes even with H+ Paradigm.

It is excpected that the Committe leader on Transport and Infrastructure and current Party Chairman of The Liberal Coalition of Kazulia Per Sandstad will ask the Stortinget if Ramos funeral can be held on the expense of the Kazulian Taxpayers.

Paradis Speciell Aktivitet Division Forces Preparing for Departure.

Lamond, Hent The Kazulian News Broadcasting Service has received a report that 275,000 members of the Paradis Speciell Aktivitet Division (PSAD) have been dispatched to the Hent Herramark with orders to await the arrival of a fleet of ships which will transport them to an undisclosed location. The KNBS has been unable to ascertain the destination of the militiamen from any of our Paradigm sources.

New all-time low for The Liberal Coalition of Kazulia causes the Prime minister to resign

"Statsminister Mellem resigns after the heavy election losses by the TCLOK party leader Per Sandstad" said in a short comment to KNBS.
After achieving under 10% in the national elections LCoK got an all-time low result, and the media is now heavily discussing if the Coalition Government will be lead by TCLOK in the future or if any other Coalition member is willing to take the lead. "Sandstad is ready for action a TLCLoK official stated in a short comment. Mats Ramo jr. leader of TCLOKs youth organization and adoptive son of the recently deseased Mats Ramo is also expected to resign this week. "This is a sad day for Kazulia" were the only comment Ramo jr. were willing to give to the KNBS reporters.
"Everything seems to go downhill for TLCoK these days despite party leaders Per Sandstads and strong showings in the recent debates" KNBS expert reporter on elections Martin Andresen.
