Defence Department launches naval expansion programme
Government greenlights Defence Department naval expansion and modernisation programme.

18th August, 4429.

On the background of the developing conflict in Dovani and mounting tensions in the international domain, the Defence Department disclosed to the general public of its plans to expand the Kazulian Navy and to transform the branch of the Armed Forces into a service worthy of respect. The Kazulian Navy, whilst modern and extremely capable in its own right had been cited as "hindered" mainly due to various defence decisions especially as it pertained to equipment procurement. With the Kazulian Armed Forces mandated to take frontal roles in the Northern Council Treaty Organisation as its principle power and guarantor, the need for a modern, capable and equipped navy is necessary to ensure the defence of Kazulia's interest throughout the world. Defence Minister Jesper Berthelsen announced before the Stortinget, an expansion and modernisation programme for the Kazulian Navy, outlining the strategic goals/aims of the programme. Coined the "Surface Combatant Programme", it involves the procurement/construction of more than twenty (20) surface combatant vessels within the space of thirty (30) to thirty-five (35) years.

A number of concept images have appeared online exhibiting two proposed ideas for a dedicated guided-missile destroyer for the navy. To be known as the Ingebretsen-class guided missile destroyer (named after former Prime Minister Rasmus Ingebretsen), the destroyer's proposed armaments and capabilities make it an extremely powerful and capable destroyer in its own right, rivalling some of the destroyers fielded by the other navies of the great powers. According to the Defence Minister, the destroyer's frame comes directly from the design employed on the Torgersen-class frigate. He added that around eighteen (18) had been ordered with an additional eighteen (18) in hold until negotiations between the Defence Department and Pennington-Reid have concluded. Upon introduction to the navy's fleet of combatant vessels, the Ingebretsen-class will take a principle role in the navy, being deployed to various regions of the world with the intention of acting as the navy's rapid reaction forces for instances threatening Kazulia's interests throughout the world. Satellite imagery has confirmed major activity at the Gna-Engelsen Shipyard. This could mean that this shipyard could be the primary location for the construction of the vessels underneath the programme. This is reinforced with the recent expansion of the shipyard at the hands of the government's Free Port Expansion project.

While smaller warships do not enjoy the limelight of their larger peers, they can teach the observer a great deal about a nation’s maritime defence posture and priorities. While the shipbuilding industry has centred its attention recently on constructing larger vessels including aircraft carriers and amphibious assault ships, they have also produced the majority of Kazulia's frigate fleet. Current the Torgersen-class frigates are the work horses of Kazulian naval apparatus. The smaller warships traditionally perform a number of different roles in naval warfare. Firstly, they serve as air defence. They are nimble and fast, heavily armed for their diminutive size, and are outfitted to be flexible enough to perform a multitude of different missions. The Torgersen-class frigate is a well balance and powerful naval surface combatant for its size, and carries an ample arsenal of anti-aircraft, anti-ship, and anti-submarine weapons. It is an ideal escort vessel with a range of over 8,000 nautical miles. It is a traditional multi-purpose frigate, possessing the inherent ability to attack other surface ships, engage aircraft, and track and destroy submarines. The Torgersen-class Frigate is a flexible, yet powerful surface warfare asset that possesses significant range and the ability to engage in a multitude of operations. Usually deployed alongside NC combatant vessels, the Torgersen-class remains one of the most technological superior warships in the world. It has been rumoured that in its drive to continue its presence throughout the international domain, Kazulia has ordered an additional 20 to be constructed between the years 4432 and 4460.

Without a doubt one of the segments of Kazulian defense strategy most shrouded in mystery are the attack submarines of the Kazulian Navy and the Surface Combatant Programme intends on extending that mystery. Known as the Flindar-class attack submarine, it remains one of the most modern diesel electric submarines in existence. Amid changes in the defence strategy of the government in Skalm, upgrades to the submarine are becoming increasingly necessary to ensure the vessel maintains its world class capabilities. As outlined by the SCP, the Flindar-class lacks modern combat systems and is in dire need for upgraded munitions. The Defence Department has contracted Viserby Systems to develop a new torpedo for the Kazulian Navy will specifications such as being able to track and classify targets being insisted upon by the Government.

Skalm slams falsified accusations from former Vanukean Prefect
Prime Minister rejects accusations by former Vanukean Prefect on clandestine involvement in Jelbania
14th October, 4429.

Prime Minister Markus Hanevold has rejected accusations of Kazulia's involvement in assisting the Deltarian government during the Jelbanian conflict. In a supreme court hearing, former Prefect of Vanuku, Brno Zhtál accused the Kazulian government of aiding the Deltarian government amidst the Jelbanian conflict, citing that the nation's capacity to withstand the Vanukean offensives could not have been possible without alleged Kazulian support. Standing trial for crimes against Humanity, the former Prefect spoke before the Vanukean supreme court where he made the bold accusations stating that due to alleged Kazulian assistance to Deltaria, he was forced to launch the nuclear strike which still poison the soils and waters of Jelbania to this day. "The accusations made by the former Prefect can only be viewed as the irrational sentiment of a demented individual." said a spokesman from the Kazulian Embassy in Cobura. "His accusations are bold and unfolded." Prime Minister Markus Hanevold slammed the accusations, labelled the accusations as an attempt by the "war criminal" known as Brno Zhtál to redirect attention away from his crimes against humanity and to spread misinformation in an attempt to search for someone to blame for his irrational actions.
Kazulian Embassy in Cobura wrote:It is regrettable that the aforementioned war criminal tries to link his irrational actions with Kazulia without having produced any credible results of the investigation aside from "intelligence presented to him". It is clear that the individual is attempting to muddy the waters and to blame others for his own irrational actions.

On the sentiment of the intelligence received by the Vanukean Government, presumably from the State Security Agency, Prime Minister Hanevold labelled said intelligence as falsified, unfounded and baseless, stating: "It is as fake and unfounded as Brno Zhtál's innocence as it pertains to the nuclear strike." Prime Minister Hanevold stated that he had spoken with the intelligence community who unanimously denied clandestine involvement in the Jelbanian conflict. Hanevold hit back at Zhtál's attempt to link Kazulia's former base in Deltaria to the latter's gains in the conflict. "When tensions sparked, all diplomatic and military personnel were withdrawn from the nation and thus our formal relationship with Deltaria came to an immediate end. Our government openly condemned the actions of both governments and worked towards forming a peace process." Prime Minister Hanevold concluded by saying: "The Kazulian Government will not stoop to the falsified commentary of an individual who is (1) clearly demented and (2) a known war criminal. We do not intend on engaging in a tit-for-tat with said individual and advises the Vanukean Government to continue with the individual's trial." The Prime Minister urged the Vanukean Government to let common sense and rational thinking take precedent over the demented comments of Zhtál.

Hutori and Kazulia to cooperate on manned moon mission
Long-term space project sees leading space agencies combine forces for manned moon mission.
Image
Director-General Gunnar Aleksandersen (right) and SERA Director Roger Durling (left)
11th March, 4432

The Kazulian Space Exploration and Exploitation Directorate (SEED) and the Hutorian Space Exploration and Research Agency (SERA) have signed an agreement that would see the Northern Hemisphere space exploration powerhouses cooperate on a range of human spaceflight activities. The agreement had been signed in Skalm by SEED Director-General Gunnar Aleksandersen and SERA Director Roger Durling. According to statements from SEED, scientific cooperation between the two organisations will focus on the pooling of resources for a joint manned mission to the moon by the two nations and will focus on the development of technological needs for future, and more daring missions to be planned by the two organisations. Other activities include joint work relating to scientific payloads, data sharing, mutual use of technical facilities and the exchange of personnel. The respective expertise, experience and capabilities of Kazulia and Hutori suggest that this new cooperation has potential to produce important contributions. Both nations have been involved in intense development projects towards manned missions as both nations strive to reach beyond the constraints of the earth. With various advances coming out of the work of the two agencies, it was only natural for cooperation on manned missions (which both nations are working towards) would be fostered.

The sentiment being championed by both Directors Aleksandersen and Durling is that space provided a limited canvas for development in all aspects of life, education to leisure. The agreement is important and looks even beyond manned missions with the intention of preparing the world for far larger feats of scientific exploration in the solar system and potentially beyond. Both nations have been keen to promote cooperation in space. Cooperation with other partners has and can greatly benefit Kazulian-Hutorian capabilities and expertise, and also reduce costs for participants.

Viserby Systems unveils new weapons under government contract
Viserby Systems unveil new anti-ship missile and anti-aircraft system under Armed Forces contract.

Viserby Systems showcased a series of ground breaking technology at the recent National Defence Expo in Skalm. The most notable was the Skjǫldr-3 Air Defence System and the Dovani-3 multi-role missile. According to reports from Viserby Systems, the Skjǫldr-3 Air Defence System is the newest addition to the Skjǫldr family of Air Defence Systems. The philosophy being the new system is to have a number of fully coordinated firing units that together create the system’s ground coverage of more than 1,500 km, the unique altitude coverage of 15,000 m and a range out to 20 km. The all-target, all-weather Skjǫldr-3 system is designed to counter modern threats, which besides bombers and fighter-bombers, also includes stand-off weapons, UAVs and other small targets that will constitute ever greater threats in the future. The Skjǫldr-3 system combines modern advanced technology and Viserby Systems experience in air-defence systems, missiles and radars, into a powerful and cost-effective air-defence system. It has been widely seen as a massive upgrade to the existing Skjǫldr-1 and Skjǫldr-2 Air Defence Systems. According to the company's Chief Researcher the system comes with an upgraded version of the existing GIRAFFE radar system. The missile carried by the system, coined the "Pil" boasts a range of 20 km and an altitude coverage of 15,000 m. The system carries six missiles according to the number of tubes mounted onto the platform itself. Large amounts of development has been put into the system by Viserby System to enable the system to detect stealth aircraft. According to the Chief Researcher, it is able to detect, target and kill low radar signature aircraft. This means that the system can potentially bring down stealth aircraft including the acclaimed Z-35 and the X-43 strategic bomber.

The Dovani-3 anti-ship missile had been in development for more than 200 years. The new system continues the tradition upheld by the Dovani-1 and Dovani-2 missiles of robust and autonomous all-weather capability of the missile family but utilising a design that unlocks a new level of future growth potential. According to statements it possess the option to engage targets from the air, as well as from land and sea giving the system the ability to perform coordinated attacks, with multiple missiles, against a wide range of naval and land-based targets thereby increasing mission flexibility and success. The Dovani-3 is offered in both air-launched and surface-launched configurations that offer greatly improved capabilities, compared to other missile systems on the market. With an improved range to more than 300 km and highly advanced target seeker, it gives the capability to engage any target, in all conditions. It can be launched from aircraft, ships and ground-based systems. With its ability to engage targets on land, the Dovani-3 has been dubbed as the first multi-role missile, minus the fact that Viserby Systems has no interest in expanding the missile's capabilities to surface-to-air or air-to-air, but added that prior sentiments of introducing a "fire and forget" system has been integrated into the missile. Defence Minister Oliver Therkelsen stated that the Armed Forces had ordered 150 units of both systems to be deployed to Kazulian military installations across Kazulia and the wider world.

Kazulia moves to repair broken relations with Deltaria.
Closer ties could mean significant boost in Deltarian tourism and economic prospects.
Image
ⓀⓃ:Prime Minister Markus Hanevold speaking before the Mercy Institute on Rapprochement in a time of uncertainty.

Prime Minister Markus Hanevold announced a series of landmark moves aimed at normalising and hopefully repairing years of tumultuous relations with the two majatran powers. Strengthen relations — amidst a deal between the Deltarian Government — could lead to a boost in economic activity among the two nations, with serious energy prospects and trade prospects for Deltaria. Against the backdrop of international situations likely to generate insecurity, Hanevold pressed that rapprochement between Kazulia and its "enemies" was extremely important to the international community. Kazulia in recent has come under fire for unconfirmed claims of the nation's clandestine involvement in the Jelbania crisis and the nation's supposed intention of mounting influence in Majatra through its multiple military installations in the region. In the first of three groundbreaking proclamations, Prime Minister Markus Hanevold stated that various normalisation agreements are hoped to be made with the Deltarian Government in an effort to normalise relations. Relations between Deltaria and Kazulia turned sour after the latter's actions during the Jelbanian Crisis. Relations between the two nations have been marred with sentiments of "Kazulian imperialism and meddling".
Prime Minister Markus Hanevold wrote:Our actions can only be described as wrong and the a similar manner the actions of others must wear that badge in a similar manner. Although the actions of some possess indefensible and unforgivable constraints, it is our firm belief that relations must be repaired where it deserves to be repaired. A relationship between Deltaria and Kazulia built on the foundations of trust and respect is relationship which both nations need.

Kazulia plans to assist Deltaria in transforming itself towards being a nation capable of reaching beyond the established norms. Kazulia's Critical Investment and Stabilisation Fund is actively preparing to invest into Deltarian innovation and education. The two countries had previously been key economic and security partners before the Jelbanian Crisis, with Prime Minister Hanevold hinting the possibility of Kazulian economic activity in the nation in the form of various multinational-Kazulian based companies. Prior to the conflict, Deltaria enjoyed high levels of tourism flowing between the two countries. The tourism sector in the nation has been devastated amidst the conflict, and the loss of Kazulian visitors among others has left said sector reeling. The rapprochement with Deltaria comes at a transition whereby Kazulia is moving away from the sentiments of its past and is seeking to forge a new image. The Prime Minister stated that he was willing to actively work with the Deltarian Government on developing internationally acclaimed human rights standards, pushing beyond the standards maintained by some of its neighbours.

Kazulia seeks stronger economic ties with Indrala
Kazulia, Indrala to hold on increased trade opportunities for both nations.

ⓀⓃ:Minister of Foreign Affairs Nils Forslund speaking to members of the media.

Kazulia and Indrala are carded to hold talks to identify opportunities in sectors such as information technology, infrastructure, manufacturing, heavy industry and defence as the government in Skalm seeks stronger economic ties with the economic powerhouse. Representatives from the nations' respective governments and associated industries will hold talks in Tian'an. Apart from focusing on granting increased market access to Indralan companies, the talks will be centred on financial services, alternative energy opportunities from a potential technology partnership. Discussions according to Foreign Minister Nils Forslund, whom is expected to lead the Kazulian delegation, could potentially touch base on Kazulia's expanding manufacturing base. Amidst a major ease on restrictions on heavy industrial activity, Kazulia's manufacturing base has sky rocketed with the nation developing the most capable manufacturing base in the Northern Hemisphere. Prospects of Indralan cooperation on manufacturing could also be discussed during the aforementioned talks. Amidst the conflict in Dovani, the government is introducing robust financial/economic programmes aimed at supporting Kazulian economic interests through the conflict. The Department of Trade and Industry recently encouraged the Kazulian Development Bank to centre its attention on small business enterprise, recognising the fact that small businesses remain extremely important entities in a nation's economy. The Critical Investment and Stabilisation Fund (CISF) has introduced an investment scheme which would allow for small businesses registered underneath the "Laget i Kazulmark (Made in Kazulia)" Programme which encourages small businesses to "insource" product manufacturing, essentially encouraging small businesses to take advantage of the local manufacturing industry instead of outsourcing.

Indralan-Kazulian trade has come mainly in the form of services, namely financial and technological services. According to statistics from the Central Statistical Bureau, trade in services has increased to around $30 Billion from $25 Billion in previous years. Minister of Trade and Industry, Andreas Hanevold stated that he had great intentions of seeing said figures increase from $30 Billion to $200-300 Billion in the next decade. According to Minister Hanevold, the National Programme for Non-Immigrant Employment, would be expanded and reformed to ensure that more of the most-skilled beneficiaries would be allowed into the programme to do work in Kazulia underneath temporary work documents. The main concern for Indralan companies as it pertains to the Kazulian markets is access. Due to extreme government restrictions on manufacturing, business and employment practices Indralan companies have struggled to establish firm roots in Kazulia. Minister Hanevold stated that Foreign Minister Forslund intends on speaking with Minister of Finance Jesper Berthelsen on easing restrictions which have hindered Indralan business opportunities in Kazulia. It has been rumoured that a Indralan-Kazulian Common Business Committee (IKCBC) has been rumoured to encourage infrastructural and business cooperation between companies and entities from both Indrala and Kazulia. Both nations maintain some of the highest standards for infrastructural development in the world, to this end, the sentiment of "smart cities" is not unfamiliar to both governments. Cities such as Tian'an and Skalm are being transformed through technology. In Skalm, the city's administrative body is set to transform the city in the world's first major city to be entirely powered by autonomous solar and tidal energy. It is hoped that talks between Skalm and Tian'an prove beneficial to the economic growth of both nations.

PM to strengthen trade and defence ties with Kalopia
Amid pressure in Majatra, PM reassures Kalopian Government of unwithering support
Image
Prime Minister Markus Hanevold on the prospects of Kalopian-Kazulian relations.
Image

Prime Minister Markus Hanevold will arrive in Helios, alongside Defence Minister Oliver Therkelsen and executives from several of Kazulia's largest companies in a move set to strengthen defence and economic relations between the Governments in Skalm and Helios. Prime Minister Hanevold has labelled the move as the "reinforcing of a relationship as old as time." Despite positive relations existing between Skalm and Helios, political tensions is mounting for Helios as it faces the Majatran Union of Nations (MUN) and its attempt to consolidate political, economic and security power in the region. It has been stated that the Ellinor Ketelsen Air Base stands in the way of such plans. On the backdrop of the base's existence, Helios has been making positive moves towards balancing its relationship with the Northern Council, specifically Kazulia whilst benefiting from the supposed economic unity of the MUN. In heated discussions on the base's existence Vanukean, Istalian and Cildanian politicians have been persistent with the sentiment of the removal of the base as its sees its very existence as a "threat to Majatran security." Prime Minister Hanevold hit back as such statement saying that the base's existence is a threat to those who make it a threat. Prime Minister Hanevold labelled Cildanian and Vanukean sentiments as being convenient seeing that the base has existed for more than one hundred years but has only been controversial amidst the rise of the Majatran Union of Nations and the shifting of the global balance in favour of the Northern Council.

Hanevold intends on framing his trip to Kalopia as apart of Kazulia's promise to forge stronger partnerships with existing allies and to expand the horizon for both Kazulia and its respective partners. Accompanied by executives from companies such as Asvald Gruppen, Gasstrien, Alternex Verdalros, Warton Danver and Sorthamnmetall whom will push the sentiment of increased economic activity in Kalopia especially in the fields of engineering and heavy industry. Kazulia is seeking to expand the horizon for its recently reinvigorated heavy industry sector. Companies such as Alternex Verdalros, Warton Danver and Sorthamnmetall are seeking contracts to extract mineral deposits such as iron ore, bentonite, gypsum, lime and pumice in exchange for manufactured materials such steel, silicate mineral products and refined bentonite clay from the extracted materials. Gasstrien, whom has long been operating in Kalopia will reportedly seek an extension to operating rights in Kalopia for crude oil extraction. The company has long invested in Kalopian engineering practices and has been as the forefront of sponsoring trade schools in Kalopia with a specific focus on engineering. It has been rumoured that it will also push the product of compressed natural gas as an alternative to the gasoline, diesel and propane powered machines in Kalopia. Companies sch as Asvald Gruppen, Pennington-Reid and Viserby Systems have long been wanting to expand into Kalopian markets as they offer extremely competitive business which is beneficial to both the companies and Kalopia's national economy.

Hanevold intends on meeting with President Filia Rigas and Prime Minister Alexei Anastas on expanding trade ties with an official free trade agreement. According to Hanevold the prospects of the agreement will be similar to agreements establish with Lourenne, Hawu Mumenhes and other nations whereby it will be mainly focused on developing strong transnational trade partnerships especially in the fields of agriculture, manufacturing and heavy industry practices. Currently, the Memorandum of Understanding is to be expanded to a mutual defence and security agreement. A transnational agreement could not be sealed without the inclusion of the Critical Investment and Stabilisation Fund, Kazulia's sovereign wealth fund and the largest of its kind in the world. Prior to the now, the fund had mainly centred its attention on investing into agricultural development in the nation however, President of the Fund, Marcus Nilsson stated that the fund would be investing into industrial equities such as telecommunication, technology and consumer goods. Prime Minister Hanevold stated that regardless of mounting pressure on Helios from specific nations, the government in Skalm stands prepared to support Helios wherever it decides to move.

Deltarian Bailout: Kazulia loans 10b KKR
Finance Minister confirms Kazulian contribution to Deltarian bailout.
Image
Minister of Finance, Jesper Berthelsen speaking on the Deltarian bailout.
Image

Minister of Finance Jesper Betherlsen confirmed rumours that Kazulia would provide a 10b KKR (30b DDO) loan to support Deltaria as apart of the nation's attempt to step out of the economic downturn caused by the black friday crash. With the economies of the major nations in Majatra seemingly bouncing back, the Deltarian economy is lagging behind mainly due to a fact of economic stimulus policies aimed at reviving the damaged economy. The Deltarian Government dropped its resistance to a bailout, calling for an economic rescue. Amidst moving to rekindle relations with the government in Čachtice, talks are currently underway to iron out the details of the package — which could be worth some 150b DDO — with the Critical Investment and Stabilisation Fund and the International Development and Stability Bank. Finance Minister Betherlsen stated that corporation tax in Deltaria should remain at its current standing and that Deltaria should not follow the economic decisions made by other nations. He said that the Deltarian Government should work to find a balance between regulation and liberalisation in its economy.

Prime Minister Markus Hanevold and Foreign Minister Nils Forslund will visit Čachtice in the coming months where its is expected that a strong economic partnership could be fostered amidst the current situation. Minister Betherlsen stated that he had been in contact with Deltarian Finance Minister Elena Funar where he proposed a possible solution to the economic crisis using the loan attained from Kazulia to championed such a move.
The Deltarian Government would have to create fully capitalised banks, which would have to lend directly (not indirectly) to important industries. With new banks not having committed loans, the lending margin would be much larger than current banks which have prior committed loans. To this end, there needs to not be just one bank, but several as a means of maintaining competition. The main driving out of the current situation is investment. Deltaria does not necessarily foreign investment to pull itself out of the situation. It needs direct investment from new capitalised financial institutions. Similar to what has been done in Kazulia with our sovereign wealth fund, the Deltarian Government could issue 110 million shares of each of the banks, thus creating the scenario where every Deltarian citizen gets one (1) share of said banks. The Deltarian Government should not be focused on bailing out existing financial institutions, especially banks. Such institutions should be allowed to die and with that, the death of some of the existing banks would be beneficial to the Deltarian Economy. To get out of this situation, the Deltarian Government needs to focus on strategically positioning its finances instead of blindly infusing money into failing industries with the aim of reviving them.

Hanevold tours Canrillaise nations in diplomatic mission
PM tours Canrillaise Federation in move set to improve diplomatic and economic relations
Image
Prime Minister Markus Hanevold on the prospects of Kazulian-Canrillaise relations.
Image

Prime Minister Markus Hanevold has embarked on a two-week tour of the Canrillaise Federation to explore opportunities the region offers to bolster trade and investment ties. Although relations exist between canrillaise nations such as Lourenne and Kanjor, nations such as Rildanor and Alduria have little to no diplomatic contact as it pertains to relations with the government in Skalm. According to Hanevold the tour of the canrillaise nations is about strengthening ties, expanding Kazulian exports and reeling in imports (raw materials) and mounting investment from Kazulia into the canrillaise nations and vice-versa. Accompanying the Prime Minister are executives from some of Kazulia's leading technology firms, financial institutions and industrial companies. Prime Minister Hanevold is expected to visit Lourenne, marking the start of his tour, where he is expected to meet with Crown Representative Catherine LaSalle and Chancellor Vivienne Bouvier. Lourenne and Kazulia share a strong relationship mainly on the premise of security, however Prime Minister Hanevold stated that he believes that Lourenne is more than a strategic partner, it is a brother to Kazulia and should benefit from its presence. Currently, Lourenne and Kazulia share a Memorandum of Understanding on Defence and Security whereby the government in Skalm provides the government in Eroncourt with military aid. Hanevold stated that he intends on abandoning the agreement in favour of a mutual defence and security agreement along with an official free trade agreement.

Hanevold is attempting to strengthen Kazulia's manufacturing base to lessen reliance on financial services. According to Hanevold, the canrillaise nation and the larger Seleyan region allows for fast-growing business, a constraint which Hanevold has observed as being beneficial to the Kazulian economy. Currently, Hanevold is pushing the sentiment of Kazulian heavy industry, mainly mineral extraction and manufacturing. Deals are underway with the Deltaria and Kalopian government on extraction rights for minerals including pumice, iron ore and bentonite. During his tour of nations such as Rildanor, Kanjor, Lourenne and Alduria it is expected that he will champion the notion of mineral extraction. Companies such as Alternex Verdalros, Warton Danver and Sorthamnmetall are researching bauxite, lead, lithium, manganese, ilmenite and zinc extraction prospects as it is their intention to manufacture products such as alloy ingots, cement, rods etc. Executives from Sorthamnmetall, whom are accompanying Prime Minister Hanevold, have stated that the company has expressed great interest in open refineries in Lourenne and Kanjor. With Lourenne moving towards expanding its environmental portfolio, technology based firms such as Korsmo Electronics and Communications has stated that its subsidiary, Korsmo Telekom could offer a range of capabilities. Chairman of Korsmo Electronic and Communications, Ryan Morris stated that the company will be selling the "Smart City" concept throughout its endeavours and will push the notion during the visits to Alduria, Lourenne, Kanjor and Rildanor.
