Vanukean Shipyard delivers Amphibious Assault Ship to Navy.
The Multi-role Amphibious Assault Ship, KNOS-Queen Ingrid, docked in the Hent Port.

Earlier this morning several military officials were present at the ceremony to commission the recently delivered KNOS-Queen Ingrid Multi-role Amphibious Assault Ship. The ceremony took place in Hafleikr, Hent and in attendance were government officials and royal officials. The vessel was constructed under the premise of improving the Kongeforsvar's operational effectiveness abroad and within the respective regional zones. The vessel was the first amphibious assault ship constructed for and by the kazulian military and is expected to be armed to the teeth with some of the most complex Vanukean and Kazulian military technology. During its sea-trials in the Sea of Majatra, the vessel visited several Vanukean coastal cities and the public were allowed to board the vessel and view the multi-purpose high tech vessel which took more than 1.1 Million production hours and about $900 Million LOD.
The vessel has been designed as a practical and versatile machine. When combining her technology the vessel is very efficient in the areas of energy consumption and defence. An analysis of the vessel's capabilities was conducted by the Center for Strategic Analysis. The vessel contains two massive hangers which were designed to carry combat vehicles such as tanks, armoured personnel carriers, amphibious landing crafts and containers. An aircraft hanger which can transport twenty (20) multi-role fighters plus five (5) flight deck parking spots in pure combat situations, eleven (11) multi-role fighters and ten (10) helicopters plus five (5) flight deck parking spots in mixed combat situations and twenty (20) helicopters plus five (5) flight deck parking spots in pure transport situations. The vessel is capable of carrying up to some 1500 crew members and passengers.
Due to the vessels multi-role capabilities the vessel can act as a basic amphibious assault ship capable of transporting vehicles and troops to support land operations. Also due to its multi-role capabilities the vessel an act as an aircraft carrier due to its VTOL and STOL capabilities attributes of its Ski jump ramp. Thus the vessel is capable of offering close-air-support to ground force or air superiority over a given battlefield. Apart from its combatant capabilities the vessel also acts as humanitarian vessel offering medical aid, as it has the capabilities of being a practical hospital ship.
The vessel is expected to rotate throughout the various naval squadrons or task forces, but the vessel is mainly bound to the 2nd Squadron "International Response Task Force, but after the second vessel is delivered both vessel are expected to be rotating throughout squadrons within period of three (3) months.
