Senterpartiet Reforms After not contesting in several general elections it reforms under a new leaderThe new leader, Aksel Harald in his office preparing for a difficult campaign in the upcoming elections.Thorgerd, Kazulia - Today in a nation wide broadcasted news conference, the leader of the then-regional Senterpartiet announced that it will be contesting in the general elections to the Parliament of Kazulia which will be held this August. Harald announced that his party will be submitting lists of candidates to the Parliament from all constituencies and that he will be fighting for votes hoping to see a Senterpartiet majority in the unicameral parliament. The Senterpartiet has not been present in the national parliament for at least 4 terms, however being present in regional parliaments and governments being problematic for the government which failed to gain majority of seats in the regional parliaments. However, they refused to participate in national elections for unknown reasons, possibly internal party disputes or the inability or lack of a strong leadership to lead the party through such serious elections. Despite this set back, the King has always been supportive of the party which founded his Kingdom decades ago in the middle of the 32nd century. King Erik I announced that he will be actively supporting the Senterpartiet in their election campaign, deeming that they are "The righteous ruling party of the Kingdom of Kazulia, representing all political views from left to right in a united and supportive manner."
The beginning of the campaign has still not begun, however preparations are much ahead. Thousands of posters, flyers and television commercials promoting the Senterpartiet in these elections. Whispers speak of the party leader traveling to every single constituency these elections and the Senterpartiet has already declared that these elections they will be going "door to door" to "listen, hear and attempt to improve on the ideas of citizens for a better Kazulia and a better life for them and listen and hear their complaints and expectations in the near future after elections". We are yet to see, how the Senterpartiet will preform. However, we wish them and other parties all the best.
