The National Restoration is almost complete, and soon Basileus Karolos II will sit the country's great throne once more. And upon taking his throne, he promises that he will do whatever is necessary to restore his distant cousin Emperor-in-exile Marcus III in Lourenne. Lord of the High Council Cyrano Mikos expanded upon the new government's commitment to the Demitreist cause in Lourenne:

"The Maratoni are a cadet branch of the House of Demitreus. Every Kalopian Royalist knows that while our home is here in Kalopia, Lourenne is ground sacred above all others. Their cause is our cause. Our fighting men will not rest until His Majesty Emperor Marcus sits his rightful throne."

"Red Berets" Recalled from Lourenne

The Presidium has voted to recall the Red Berets currently fighting in Lournenne, stating that they would become criminals if they did not immediately return home, report to the proper authorities and cease all paramilitary activity - which is illegal under current law. This move was opposed by the Nationalists and others, but the combined force of the Brotherhood and the independence party forced the act through while the Presidents party abstained.
