They're not only going to maintain and control the narik-darnussian seas but also share the responsibilites of the ground and air forces. The Vereinigte Königreich Narikaton und Darnussien was declared in the old Parlament Building.
The new King Alfred von Fritz stood before the new National Assembly and read out The Declaration.

Men and Women of Narikaton and Darnussia. In the name of God and of the dead generations from which they receives their old tradition of nationhood, Narikaton and Darnussia, through us, summon their children to their flag and strike for Strength and Peace.

We declare the right of the people of Narikaton and Darnussia to the ownership of their country and to the unfettered control of Narik and Darnussian destinies, to be sovereign and indefeasible. The long usurpation of that right by a government has not extinguished the right, nor can it ever be extinguished except by the destruction of the our people. In every generation the Narik and Darnussian people have asserted their right to national freedom and sovereignty. Standing on that fundamental right and again asserting it in the face of the world, we hereby proclaim the Vereinigte Königreich Narikaton und Darnussia as a Sovereign Independent State, and we pledge our lives and the lives of our comrades in arms to the cause of its freedom, of its welfare, and of its exaltation among the nations.

Today on the 1st of January 4828,
The city of Merenburg was the set for great celebrations as Alfred von Fritz was officially crowned as Alfred the 1st King of Narikaton and King of Darnussia. At 10:00 am Alfred von Fritz along with his family left their residence and headed for the Cathedral of St Thomas near the center of the city. Crowds cheered as they drove past and a huge crowd was gathered outside the Cathedral. The family entered the Cathedral headed by the Bishop Tom Schmitt and followed by major politician s from both within Narikaton and Darnussia and from abroad. General and Chairman of the National Renewal Council Khuenmumenhes Pasebakhaennutmessu from Hawu attended in person as a show of goodwill to the new regime. Once inside Alfred along with his wife Isabelle headed to the front of the Cathedral and knelt before the alter.

Bishop Schmitt proceeded to place the Crown of Narikaton on Alfred's head proclaiming him King of Narikaton and then repeated his actions and proclaimed Alfred King of Darnussia. Followng this Bishop Schitt placed his hand on the King's head and ask do you Alfred von Fritz accept this role and all the responsibilities that come with it. Alfred answer,

I come before you, the people of Narikaton and Darnussia not as your ruler but as your servant and I promise to you as your servant that I will do my upmost best to ensure that the Thallerist regime can never again gain control over our nation. No more will segregation and torture will be legal. No longer will terror be sanctioned by the state. I promise that our country will once again become a great nation. However this will not be easy, our economy is terrible and poverty on the rise. But do not worry, I Alfred von Fritz promise to fix our country and to steer it onto the path to recovery. Thank you.

Meetings with International Representatives
Following his address to the nation Alfred met with General and Chairman of the National Renewal Council Khuenmumenhes Pasebakhaennutmessu to discuss the crisis with the Holy Luthori Empire. King Alfred to show his gratitude to Khuenmumenhes Pasebakhaennutmessu has offered his support should Hawu require any assistance in regards to a possible refugee crisis.

Following this short meeting Chancellor Nessim el-Yamani of Badara came up to King Alfred and Jonas Dinter. He congratulated them both for successfully ending the Thallerist Regime. Jonas thanked him and stated he looked for to work with Badara in the future. Alfred agreed and expressed his wish to one day visit Badara. After a further short conversation Alfred announced his leave as he still had much to do to fix his new Kingdom.

Today on the 1st of March 4828,
The new National Assembly has commenced voting on a new Constitution for Vereinigte Königreich Narikaton und Darnussia. Now whether this Constitution will pass or not is unknown as it requires a 2/3 majority to pass. Not only that but even if the Assembly votes yes, it will then be up to the people to vote in referendum to decide if they accept the new Constitution.

Today on the 4th of March 4828,
The Assembly also started a vote that will end segregation in this country and allow interracial marriages to be recognised by the government. This a huge step to end discrimination in this country and also follows up on his promise that he made 3 months ago.

Breaking News

Today on the 15th of March,
In the late afternoon in the town of Narik in Narikaton Provinz shots were heard. People were heard screaming. Panic and chaos ruled the streets. The attack seemed to be on the local City Hall, but the attackers remained unkown.

Following a brief pause two hooded men walked out of City Hall, one of them bearing the flag of a Thallerist Paramilitary. The other announced that if Alfred von Fritz didn't step down and return power to the von Thaller family then everyone in side City Hall would be killed. Hearing this local authorities moved in armed police and some soldiers to form a perimeter around City Hall.

National News of Narikaton and Darnussia

Today on the 16th of March,
Following a standoff during all night, a small group of soldiers from the 3rd squad of the 2nd Special Forces Division stormed City Hall and made quick work of the Thallerist Soldiers inside. Casualties are reported at 3 dead and 5 wounded Thallerists and 2 wounded on the assault squad. They captured Thallerists were led out and arrested by local police.

The soldiers were hailed as heroes by the people and the Mayor of Narik publicly praised them for their courage and bravery.

Following this incident Minister Internal Affairs Daan van de Berg ordered the police to arrest members of the old Thallerist paramiliatry. He claimed that they posed a security threat since they just attacked citizens of our nation. Many saw this move as a power grab by the NCC/NKK. However Jonas Dinter promised that if innocent then they would be released. He also opened up an investigation to find if any other former Thallerist groups were involved.
