VVP dissolves in geopolitical turmoil

Thallerists sweep into power in December 5451 elections

December 5451, the streets of the Dual-republic:
Millions gather, in a new day and age for the dual republic, with the work of our forefathers rejuvenated, finally a future government worth reporting for. With the implosion of the comparatively moderate VVP, the Thallerist Conservative Party (TKP) immediately won a landslide victory achieving an absolute majority led by ThallerCola CEO and known eccentric Peter Thaller as well as his brother Heinz Gerald Thaller as designated president. They already announced the formation of a sole-TKP government and their plans for the future.

As it stands the agenda of the new thallerist era starts with the re-equipment of the dual-republic with weapons and ships to project all of the family's glory around the world. The artanian status quo is to be preserved at all cost, in the words of designated Staatskanzler Thaller "There can and will never be a hegemon in Artania again. Kundrati's rash spearhead into a quarantine of Kirlawa is worrying, it is a direct violation of their sovereignty. Dual-republican Arms sector begins soaring after gunrunning proves useful

With the dual-republican arms and shipping industries supplying the military state of Kirlawa in their righteous cause of national sovereignty and right of self-determination, the share-values of Narikan, Mauser and other narik or darnussian arms companies are beginning to soar in value. Dual-republican navy permanently sets fleet-station to Himmelshtern

Minister of Interior & Defense Siebenstein and Minister of Foreign Affairs auf Pappen have spoken on a press conference in which they announced the permanent stationing of three Kordusia class frigates in Himmelshtern (Beiteynu), this comes as absolutely no surprise to anybody as the two sea-republics seem to get closer by the day. With an interconnected security, intelligence and economy, the two are likely to face future challenges to their sphere of influence and trade together. Which are all to be made available to the Equifund product-catalogue in accordange with the goals set in the strategic meeting with equifund officials years ago. Thallerists take total control over State

The Dissolution of the only remaining opposition party, the progressive technocratic party, left the thallerists as the sole political factor in the country. While the opposition towards authoritarianism and thallerism specifically has been eliminated, the thallerists united by their hatred against their political enemy are now split into several groups populary referred to as the Loyalist Bloque Parties, in which the thallerist conservative party holds a predominant position. The first action of the new regime was to establish a new constitution in which all power is concentrated in the person of Peter Thaller, formerly only Chancellor and ThallerCola CEO, now President, Chancellor and CEO, some might call it national leader or anything of the sort. Even though political power and executive authority has been consolidated and military police have been authorized to use excessive force, life continues as usual in the dual-republic as the stocks rise and the mines go deep. There is no oppression for we are united.

Midway Channel: The Dual-republic in Dovani

After a long and ardous construction phase with minor incidents in which labourers hut and investors bled a little, the awaited mega-project of the Dual-republic is finally ready to open its gates. The Midway Channel which has been in disrepair and required a complete reconstruction is now a revitalized gateway for the inner-Dovani nations to the trade network of the world and especially the Dual-republic with its connection to the Yeudish Nesset. According to political pundits, this comes as an initial move to expand on the dual-republics Dovani affairs and seach for trade among the nations on the continent. We expect that it is in Narikaton & Darnussias best interest to approach nations such as New Verham, Ostland and any other willing partys. Some rumor that there even have been plans made to approach Lourenne to lead the dual-republics industry into the renewable energy market to some degree, while there is absolutely no chance that we leave fossil fuels behind, serving both sides of the market might be a perfect opportunity to improve economic relations with the Dovani super-power. While these speculations all seem likely, there have been no offical announcements of the foreign ministry in these regards, as always the Außenministerium is keeping its secrets and backchannels closely guarded. The beginning of the operative activity of the channel administration is surely stirring the growing and hungry industrial giants of Narikaton & Darnussia.

Procurement Plan Phase 1 revealed
Sebastian Siebenstein, Minister of Defence and Interior has finally released his plans for equipment procurement, after teasers over teasers and the allocation of several boat loads of money, the ministry has announced the first phase of procurement which targets the dual republican navy. 20 Spruance Destroyers and 15 Farragut Destroyers are going to form a defensive backbone, supported by 20 Kontrollschiff 1 Frigates and 10 anti-submarine Ferdinand Klasse Frigates. Our own submarine flotilla will for now consist of 10 USSB 54. Rounding the grand fleet of the republic up are the 3 aircraft carriers of the Ambitionsklasse supported by 3 Tragmeister-Klasse logistical support ships. These plans have been awarded to Passschiffe Bau AG and some subsidiaries as well as willing equifund suppliers. After finishing these plans, the navy of Narikaton & Darnussia will finally be recognized. Long live the Dual Republic!
