BREAKING: Thaller loses motion of confidence
In an earth-shattering vote, incumbent President Peter Thaller has been ousted out of office by parliament led by his former colleagues which split off from the TKP and have rebranded as the "Orderfaction" which ensured that a smooth transition of power from thallerism to conventional paternalism will succeed. This coup has been started by Ulrich auf Pappen, current foreign minister of the dual republic. He stated that "with the scandal that we tried to surpress proving to be true, we had no choice but to revoke our confidence in the president and call for early elections. I hereby announce my bid." This statement also revealed the motive for the move, the allegations regarding Peter Thaller's conduct at a royal party in Lourenne has been viewed critically inside the party, due to its strict message control it has been kept on the quiet side though. Additionally the TKP implosion has led to a resurgence of more liberal-democratic forces such as the VVP remnants and the newly founded Hosian Democratic Union. These two parties are set to gain a lot of seats in parliament according to the latest polls. The most likely candidate against auf Pappen is the HDU, formerly VVP, politician Olaf Heidenreichstein. Orderfaction wins election: auf Pappen aims to continue stability
While it was a close call between Olaf Heidenreichstein (HDU) and auf Pappen (OF), the latter managed to secure the presidency with 55% of the popular vote. The designated president announced that he would invite both the HDU and the ASZ to cabinet negotiations as the parliamentary elections have not been as decisive for the Orderfaction in general. The HDU and VVP managed to make major gains during the election, which means that a government coalition would probably need two partners. Leadership of both parties have positively signaled towards participation in an auf Pappen cabinet, experts suspect that there will be a government soon. Especially Order politicians have called for a unity government to regain the people's trust in the system after the Thaller-affair. In regards to policy, auf Pappen has been foreign minister under the old VVP governments as well and is expected to hold the wheel steady with his main focus lying on keeping the growth numbers steady, what this means for specific plans the Thaller cabinet had is unknown.

BREAKING: Kundrati joins Bannerpakt in surprise move

How much surprise can the government fit in one handshake? Apparently, when it comes to artanian affairs, a lot. While the relations between the Dual Republic and the Kundrati Union have never officially deteriorated, the Kirlawan crisis and the actions of both nations have certainly strained it at least informally and showed a very different approach towards geopolitics. Narikaton & Darnussia can be counted towards the "realist" camp in regards to foreign affairs with nations like Beiteynu and Yingdala also likely situated among them, Kundrati has recently been one of the "idealists" as shown in their most recent path of action against the kirlawan junta. Foreign Minister Blutthron did not want to comment on the specifics on Kundrati-DR relations, but seemed happy enough with the results. Political pundits can only speculate on the intentions of the artanian regional power, maybe it is a sign of reconciliation? A stark shift in alignment or just a "keep your enemies closer" attitude, time will tell.

The disgraced former president of the Dual-republic Peter Thaller has been found dead. His lifeless body got spotted swimming in one of the cities river channels by passing cyclists in the early morning hours of the 13th of June. Police suspect suicide as the most likely cause of death, the official police department press speakers did not yet have anything to comment. While few are going to lose a tear for him, he still was a president of our dual-republic and an important character in solidifying the geopolitical position Narikaton & Darnussia finds itself in. The 56 year old lived a wild life, leading the ThallerCola company to new heights and then championing neo-thallerism, even though his last project did not end as intended, he has reached the top positions in all his chosen career paths. Due to respect for the dead we're not going to re-report on the scandal that led to his political demise. He leaves his only son, the 20 year old publicity-shy Karl Thaller as the successor to his corporate empire and his powerbase inside the dynastic power struggles of the family (and their broader ThallerIndustries Conglomerate). Minister of the Interior Sebastian Siebenstein (ASZ) only stated that there would be a thorough investigation of the matter and sent his condolences to the family.

One of the two major tech companies of the Dual Republic, "Narikvidia" has been developing an artificial intelligence language model for commercial and private usage, in the past two decades they have granted development and "beta-testing" licenses to a select few partners, mostly domestic, few foreign but testers nontheless. Now, after years of development, bug-fixing and experimenting on "feeding" the artifical intelligence various subjects the fruits paid off. Official specs proclaim that its usable for many cases such as education, security and many writing tasks. The company is now actively searching for partners all across the world to sell licenses to, with various "roll-out" prices, for artanian neighbours, they offer special solutions with a considerable discount. Domestically, most of the major industry titans such as Passschiffe and other more service oriented corporations have already entered talks with the up-and-coming tech giant.

Nihaton-Solar; Green-Energy Specialists announce foundation
Many minor energy providers and electronic manufacturers united into a big conglomerate specializing in the production of solar panels, batteries and the technological development of the aforementioned products. Most of this has been made possible by the lourennese green-financing deal brokered a few years ago, the conlogmerate got granted big loans and is set to start production with their first models very soon. Surprisingly the webpage of Nihaton-Solar features a waiting-list for private individuals which has already been filled, it seems that the Dual-republic's personal sector experiences a green-craze.
