Thallerist Primaries won by Ulrich Franz

After the embarrassing defeat of Malgus von Thaller during the last presidential elections, he tried to win the candidacy on the thallerist ticket again. Even though party establishment endorsed the member of the von Thaller family, the political newcomer Ulrich Franz won the primaries of the thallerist alliance. Franz managed to gain the trust of all major factions which are part of the political conglomerate and come out on top in an competitive internal election. The banking-finance expert Ulrich Franz is running on a rather moderate conservative platform focusing on de-regulating the economy and revising the current court system. Controversely he suggested that the New Thallerist Way should approach other political parties, even if they reject the Thallers.
"It looked like a silly semi-cliquey thing between a few players to me. Following around a troll called Mbites like he was some sort of god... which wouldn't have mattered so much in the scale of things, except one of them was a Mod."

Crusade on Nuclear Weapons
International Treaty was released

In September 4783 Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by CVL/KVL Minister Daniel Kildee released an official diplomatic treaty calling for international nuclear disarmament. We have asked Minister Kildee a few questions.

Minister, what do you expect from this treaty?
Well, this is a long-lasting programme of our party, to get rid of the nuclear weapons. And we are able to campaign for it internationally and spread the message of disarmament, it is very important. I hope that other nations, that other parties and movements, are going to join us in this fight. It is tremendously important, it is crucial.

Your party has even proposed a nuclear plants shut down, would it be good for us and our energy independence?
We still stand behind our proposal, nuclear energy is as dangerous as nuclear weapons. And the plants are dangerous. For the safety of our citizens, we should shut down the plants and focus on the development of renewable energy, like solar energy, wind energy, water energy, that is vital, that is the future of energy and we should be the frontrunners in the area of renewable energy.

We will see if the CVL/KVL coalition will be joined in the crusade against nuclear weapons and nuclear energy.

Van Maasen is the Liberals next candidate
Only small victory against his opponents

In the leadership election of the VLV/FLV the liberal conservative Ferdinand Van Maasen was abled to win against his two opponents. He wa abled to secure around 41% of the votes the other two candidates got 37% and 22% respectively.

In his acceptance speech he declared that he did not seek to continue a coalition with the Left. The 53 year old would prefer a future coalition of the liberals with the .moderate conservatives based on economic rather than social issues. In such a coalition even some thallerist ministers could have a place he states. "But if that will be the case we will do everything to secure the social freedoms of our citizens and stand firm against oppression. "

Elections won by VLV/FVL
No loose no gain for CVL/KVL

We are bringing you an interview with CVL/KVL leader and incumbent Prime Minister Max Riekse.

What would you say about the elections overall?
It is what it is, we have lost 2 seats, but have not lost the lead in any of the regions. I think that it is very good for us, we are still the 2nd biggest party in the National Assembly and the trend is that we should not lose this position.

You have lost the presidential race, again.
We have not gained the presidential position that is right, but Kevin Van Ausdal put up a good fight and he was a tremendous candidate, he was tremendous, really.

And what is going to happen now?
We are calling for a stable centrist coalition with VLV/FVL, that's for sure. We will lose the Primi Minister position, obviously, but that's the outcome of the election. Vox populi, vox dei.

Breaking News

Alfred von Fritz at the age of 83 has passed away in his sleep. It came as a great shock to his family and supporters. He was seen as a great man and father to his children.

A charismatic man who successfully ended the Thallerist regime and brought stability to our nation. He served as the last monarch of Narikaton and Darnussia. Some believe him to be the father of the modern Narik-Darnus state. The fate of his coalition party will now be decided by his son Alexander von Fritz.

His funeral was held in his hometown of Doressa in Kozaria. Many came to the streets to mourn his passing.

Big win
Succesful take on nuclear weapons

The National Assembly just ratified the International Coalition for Abolishment of Nuclear Weapons treaty made by former Minister of Foreign Affairs Daniel Kildee. Here are his words: This is a great step forward. I'm very happy that this treaty passed. It is a great achievement for me and for the party. We may be not part of the government any more, but we still shape our national politics and that is something very awesome. I am really happy.

National News of Narikaton and Darnussia

Today on the 5th of December 4851,
The National Assembly has begun a vote to re-establish the Fritzite Monarchy. Since the old Monarch Alfred von Fritz has passed away, his eldest son Alexander von Fritz shall take the throne. If the vote passes then the new King will a though reign ahead of him. However he has promised that if he is made Monarch then he shall do his best to lead the people of Narikaton and Darnussia to a stable and prosperous future. In a statement released to the press this morning he outlined his goals as King.
If I become king then I shall do my upmost best to ensure the will of the people is upheld in this country. I also intend to bring Narikaton and Darnussia to the world stage as a strong and vibrant nation. However one of my main priorities shall be with dealing with the problem of Luthori. It is unacceptable what is happening over there. The National Movement should be ashamed of what they aim to achieve. Thank you Gentlemen.

National News of Narikaton and Darnussia

12th of April 4852,

Following what can only be described as a barbaric and savage attack in Cahtice in Deltaria on the 10th of April, President and Candidate for the Throne Alexander von Fritz released a statement condemning the attacks.
It was truly a barbaric and cowardly act by the DLO. While we understand the cause of the DLO, we do not believe and never will believe that the killing of innocent civilians to be the solution or even as a means bringing about negotiations. So in retaliation to this attack we are imposing sanctions on any member of the DLO and to any organisation that supports this band of terrorists. I offer my most sincere condolences to the people of Deltaria and ask that they remain strong in the face of such brutal acts.

The National Assembly has also agreed to raise a fund to support those affected stating
This was not an attack on one country but an attack on all nations who value peace, stability and safety for all around Terra. We therefore believe that Deltaria should no and shall not stand alone.

The Assembly has prepared to hand over any possible information that the Narik-Darnus Secret Services may have on this attack and on the DLO. Our thoughts go to the people of Deltaria.

National News of Narikaton and Darnussia

10th of June 4852,

This morning the National Assembly congratulated the new coalition in Luthori for the End Discrimination Act. It read,
It is great to see that the National Movements policies of discrimination are being removed. This Act will bring equality to Luthori. We support the new leftist coalition.

It is a huge step in the right direction and finally the minorities of Luthori will no longer face discrimination by the government. It was disheartening when 30 years ago after Narikaton and Darnussia had so recently ended discrimination based on race, that Luthori turn to such practices. However there had been hope that the opposition would end this and thirty years later it has happened. Now it remains to be seen what the National Movement will do.
