Neues Dundorf:VKPD relocates party headquarters to Karlsborn, appoints Tobias Geissler as Chief of the Sicherheitskräfte

December 21, 4323
Zerlin, 6:15 PM

Despite being the only party in Dundorf with its own security personnel, and well over 20,000 men strong, Eike Schäfer made the decision to relocate to a temporary headquarters in Karlsborn, in the northwestern state of Gayern. The Steindorf family had already relocated not long after Ernst's injury, and it was likely that the rest of the party would do the same at some point. However, in an emergency meeting of the Zentralkomitee, upon a heated discussion, an agreement was made that would see their headquarters be kept under strict watch by a staff of over 100 security workers. Schäfer stated that the de-facto chief of the Sicherheitskräfte would be Tobias Geissler, the former Bundesstaatpräsident of Grozvic Muzelbergen. Schäfer saw it fitting, as it was learned that Geissler had worked for a security firm several years ago, prior to his membership in the VKPD. Geissler was then given a uniform to fit his new title, but with insignia similar to that of a general. Reporters first saw of this when he gave a speech outlining the security measures for the building, which Neues Dundorf was able to attend.

Image
Chief Geissler, adorned with several medals and awards he has earned for his meritorious service to the party, conducts a speech on the security measures the party headquarters will undergo, with Schäfer observing.

"Genossen, I am happy that you appointed me as Chief of the Sicherheitskräfte. I will do my best to make sure this building is safe from intrusion by terrorist threats. First and foremost, the building, after all members of the Zentralkomitee have been relocated, and all party members are in safe locations, will go into a lockdown state. All 3 floors of the building will be staffed by 20 men each. The outside perimeter will also be staffed by 20 men. Patrols will be conducted hourly, with shift changes after 3 patrols. The men outside will be equipped with tasers and batons, as well as mace. The men inside will be equipped with just tasers and batons. If an intruder has been made it past the outdoor personnel and into the building, the intruder will be contained by the personnel on the floor they are on. No other personnel may funnel down or up to where the incident has been reported. We need any and all available men assigned to each floor, with absolutely no gaps in security personnel. Such a fluke could be disastrous for the building. If a bomb has been detected, we will consult with local police departments on the issue and work to contain it, and disarm it as quickly as possible. Those are the security measures. Let us work swiftly to usher our party to a safer location, and work even harder to protect our building."

After his speech, reporters were told to leave the building, as the transfer of control from the party to its security forces was in effect. Neues Dundorf will be sure to keep the public as up-to-date as possible on the status of the building.

The Goverment demands the pathetic party to withdraw and shut down his Communist private military!!Image Gustav speaking sternly and Angrily to the Communist private Army as he storms in with AfD party bodyguards.

They are not allowed by any means to create their pathetic little army of 20,000 men. I would like to ask the VKPD to get rid of a Private army as we don’t need one. We will not be threatened by the likes of you. If you want to live your entire life in prison I would suggest to you Mr Communist that we will take action if this ‘private army’ of yours is going to do anything to us.

Neues Dundorf: Ahmadi Mosque Bombing in Nordenhaus

Nordenhaus; 19th April, 4324

Amid increasing rallies in Nordenhaus, Neues Dundorf has received word that an Ahmadi mosque has been bombed by far-right extremists. There have been 7 confirmed deaths so far, but regardless of magnitude the attack reflects the rising anti-Ahmadism in Dundorf that the AfD is pushing with its proposals and its words. It is unclear as of now whether there is any connection to the attacks in Zerlin.

Neues Dundorf: NAP-VF Accepts Security From VKPD

Barberg; 22 June, 4324

The recently established VKPD security, which has currently enlisted around 20,000 men, will now be expanded to cover the NAP-VF, according to a statement from the party's Kanzlerin. Around 150 men are expected to be deployed to the NAP-VF's temporary headquarters in Barberg. This move is likely to stir accusations from the far-right AfD, as they continue to make a fuss over the Zerlin Riots.

Neues Dundorf:VKPD conducts press conference to clarify the controversy surrounding their security forces

June 26, 4324
Karlsborn, Gayern
11:30 AM

In a press conference after the declaration of 150 men of the VKPD's security forces being assigned to the NAP-VF, which stirred up significant controversy, Thorben Schwenke, Deputy General Secretary of the VKPD once again held a press conference to clarify any concerns journalists, or the public may have. Neues Dundorf was keen to listen to the details of Schwenke's conference, and any concerns this newspaper may have had were quickly resolved. Our field journalist, Claus Bernhardt, was able to ask 3 brief questions, which the public, as well as journalists, had the most concerns over.

Your party has gotten into quite a bit of trouble over the formation of these forces. Have you obtained the right to form them legally?

"As we have said before, we purchased a non-profit, well respected security agency that hired unarmed personnel quite often. Over the concerns that our forces are a paramilitary organization, they are absolutely not. They receive no military training whatsoever. Our Chief of the Sicherheitskräfte, Tobias Geissler, ensures the proposals laid down in our Party Security Bill are met with full force in the organization. Geissler has zero tolerance for disrespect to citizens made by our personnel, and quickly acts to remove it, if reported within the organization."

The massive amount of men at your disposal is reason for concern by the public. How have you been able to accrue so many people to defend your party?

"Yes, 20,000 men strong is cause for concern. We absolutely understand. We merely gave young people in our party the ability to register for our security forces. We were extremely surprised at the surge of youth joining our party after the protests late last year, and were even more surprised at the accelerated rate of registration by young people. Most of these people resonate with our cause, which is the quelling of extremist attacks by far-right 'activists'. Right now, the sole principle of these men, of whom only 250 have been dispatched to secure our headquarters, as well as the NAP-VF's, with an astounding 19,750 left in reserve, is to simply safeguard from attacks and break up protests that begin to turn violent."

Reporters have taken plenty of photographs of the guards at the NAP-VF's temporary headquarters, who appear to be holding rifles. What do you have to say on this matter?

"The rifles are a form of deterrence. If you can see in the photograph, the stock is plastic. They merely hold BBs. The real weapons they use are the tasers secured in their holsters. As far as I know, there have been no events to where they have had to use the BB guns, or the tasers. But, however, if an extreme situation merits it, the two men in the picture will do what they have been trained to do to resolve any situation that occurs."

Other news journalists asked essentially the same questions, and when said concerns began to overlap one another, Herr Schwenke decided that the press conference had met the concerns of journalists present and declared it concluded.

Pop!:Left-wing singer Claus Portner launches "Peace and Unity" tour across Dundorf

Image
Portner performing his new song, One Day in Zerlin, at the Zerlin Volkshalle in April this year.

"I just felt that it was needed, y'know? After all that horrible stuff that's been going on for the past few months, something to bring people together, through peace and love."

Claus Portner, former member of the infamous band Die Käfer, that was wildly popular in the 4310s, but disbanded in 4320 over various disagreements, has decided to launch his "Peace and Unity" tour across Dundorf, traveling state by state across the country, encouraging unity and peace among men in lieu of the recent terrorist attacks and violent protests. His first concert was held in April at the Zerliner Volkshalle, to a packed stadium. Portner says that proceeds of his concerts will go to the family of Najwa al-Emami, as well as persons affected by the terrorist attacks on a Ahmadi Mosque, and various victims of protests and other attacks. Pop! was able to sit down with Portner for an exclusive interview, and he hopes his tour will bring lasting peace among citizens in Dundorf.

Your career has retreated into the shadows after those three years ago. Your album "Fields of Gayern" didn't do so well, and you've become rather reclusive. What made you spurn this tour?

"I heard news of all that terrible shit happening to those people, and I thought, well, what's a man to do? The politicians weren't doing that much at the time, so I figured I'd go out and do a tour. Give some hope for a broken people, who weren't very trusting of a political party who was hateful in their rhetoric, and had a lot of people in the Bundestag. I'd tried to reach out to some of the other guys from Die Käfer, but they've gone their separate ways. Seems it was meant for me."

By "hateful political party", are you referring to the AfD?

"Well, of course. Most of the people out there on the streets making a ruckus, hurting people, and all that mess, were largely inspired by their rhetoric. They've inspired terrorism and it's absolutely unacceptable. Brings a tear to my eye to think that people would do such horrible acts, but the world's a messed up place. So yeah, fuck those guys."

Have any political parties sponsored your tour?

"A couple have, yeah. The NAP-VF reached out to me. VKPD did as well. I accepted their sponsorships, but half the money will go to charities supporting families who've been shook up by the recent events. A good socialist shares his wealth, eh?"

Thanks for sitting down with us, Claus. We wish you good luck on your tour! Hope you make Dundorf a peaceful place once again!

"Hey, don't thank me. I'm just a musician. The real power lies in the leftist political parties of our country. They've got the biggest coalition behind them. Not just me, but the people. And somewhere in the distant future, a change is comin'. A change for good."

Neues Dundorf:VKPD celebrates 1 year anniversary of the foundation of its security forces, inducts 5,000 new employees

November 13, 4324
Karlsborn, Gayern
1:15 PM

Since the formation of the VKPD's security personnel last year, in the wake of the terrorist attacks and protests in Dundorf, the party's Sicherheitskräfte, as they are professionally known, has dispatched 250 of its astounding 20,000 registered employees. A celebration was held at their temporary headquarters in Karlsborn. Eike Schäfer congratulated the efforts of members present in ensuring safety of the party, as well as safeguarding leftist political parties who lacked security staff to guard them. So far, the only political party to accept the VKPD's security was the NAP-VF. Tobias Geissler was present, handing out awards and commemorations to staff whose actions deemed meritorious in service to the party. Then, Geissler issued a special announcement, creating two new offices, an administrative position, named the Chairman of the Sicherheitskräfte, of which Geissler appointed himself to, and a lower office below his service rank of Chief, named the Deputy Chief of the Sicherheitskräfte, and appointed Karl Loritz to the office. "The growing size of our security forces is reason for a pair of extra hands." Geissler commented, with a chuckle. Herr Geissler also commented that once Dundorf is deemed peaceful again, a resolution will be made between him and Schäfer that will shorten personnel to 10,000 employees. It was at the celebration that Schäfer himself unveiled the logo and flag for the organization, as well as it's motto: "Stärke, Ordnung, und Frieden", or "Strength, Order, and Peace". The party has seemingly worked towards limiting controversy, and it seems the resolution to shorten staff size will hopefully quell the concerns by many in Dundorf. While the employees present are in the typical uniform of security personnel dispatched to safeguard party buildings, Geissler stated that they have been hired for more administrative purposes.

Neues Dundorf:Eike Schäfer retires as General Secretary of the VKPD, Thorben Schwenke appointed Acting General Secretary

July 8, 4325
Karlsborn, Gayern
3:00 PM

After the elections of 4325, the VKPD gained two seats in the Bundestag, but long before, Eike Schäfer, the Generalsekretär of the VKPD, having held the position since the party's formation in 4310, had stated that the 4325 elections would be his last, before retiring. Immediately after the results reached the VKPD, Schäfer began transferring power to Thorben Schwenke, before finalizing the changes publicly at a Party Conference today. Many members of the Zentralkomitee and party were expecting this, seeing as though the aging communist is 81 years old, at the time of this publication, and soon to be 82, in September. Giving a somber but hopeful speech for the party's successes in the past, obstacles and turmoil that they've faced, and the progress of the future. He then nominated Schwenke to his office, and in a symbolic gesture, gave a left-fisted salute, and left the building, with his wife and two children. Herr Schwenke then addressed the VKPD, stating that formal elections for the office of Generalsekretär were to be officially conducted sometime in the coming months. Seeing as though his previous office of Deputy General Secretary was now vacant, he publicly nominated Jürgen Kirschner, previously having served as an official for the party, to the post. The retirement of Schäfer sees a new optimism for the party, and the hope for young blood to replace a rapidly aging leadership. Many have spoken about the potential for Ernst Steindorf, Otto Steindorf's only son, to helm the role of Generalsekretär. Many present spoke out about the long leadership terms of the offices, seeking for a much shorter term limit. Schwenke agreed, and made it an official rule that the office of Generalsekretär be a maximum of 8 years. The lower office, in an attempt to increase the chances of younger members achieving it, was limited to 4 years. In recent years, this is certainly a revolutionary change, for an already revolutionary party. Whatever the future holds for them, the youth of the party may finally have the chance to lead.

Neues Dundorf:VKPD leadership elections concluded, Ernst Steindorf wins the office of Generalsekretär

Karlsborn, Gayern
November 10, 4325
10:30 AM

Much to the joy of the younger generation of the VKPD, Ernst Steindorf, the youngest son of the Steindorf family, former Bundesstaatpräsident of Gayern and key member of the Zentralkomitee since his father's resignation, has won the office of Generalsekretär of the VKPD. Aged 37 when he became a member of the Zentralkomitee, now 47, he has broken the record for being the youngest party member to hold the office. Walking up to the podium, charismatic and smiling, he conducted his victory speech. Commending the younger generation for making their voices heard, he promised to still commit to key party policies, but to usher in a new wave of communism among the youth of the party, as well as Dundorf. He also spoke about hoping to form two new party organizations, them being a youth and student organization, which has yet to be met with approval by the Zentralkomitee. Steindorf then called Jürgen Kirschner to the podium, and swore him in as official Stellvertretender Generalsekretär of the VKPD. The delegation was met with rousing applause. It quickly seems as though the VKPD is becoming a popular party amongst the youth of Dundorf.

DPD relocate to Gayern

In an attempt to move closer to their transitioning support base, Bundespräsident Jakob Weisel today announced the permanent relocation of DPD party headquarters from its traditional home of Sudschloss-am-der-Czimnetz in Grozvic Muzelbergen to Albrunn in Gayern. The president framed the move as historic as he stood outside the new state-of-the-art HQ. The DPD are believed to have poured a significant sum into the self-sufficient new construction which boasts the latest in security.
