The new head of state, Carsten Schimdt, age 26 has taken hold of the Dondurf government as Head of State and Head of the Party he runs. Rebranding the Dondurf Conservative Party, he has introduced a series of new conservative laws to replace the current socialist laws. His current view on the laws is as states, "I am Disgusted by the very fact that these laws exist and dominate our countries culture. My goal is to be rid of them for once and for all."

Our beloved Prime Minister, Franz Wagner
81 year old Fritz Wagner, Prime Minister of Dundorf, at 3 am in the early morning of Thursday 24th, 5071 suffered from a minor stroke that doctors currently say, "Shows no signs of becoming worse or forcing him to resign because of health reasons. This comes a few weeks after the parties head of government brought forth multiple reforms and laws to further strike down communist influence in the nation.
Later during the month of September, the Prime Minister was heard saying, "I am fine, after the doctors put me under surveillance for several weeks, they determined that this was brought on due to a major stress attack and that no further strokes are expected during the next few years."

CARSTEN SCHMIDT NAMED DUNDORF'S MOST HANDSOME

Yesterday the crowds went into a cheerful uproar as Carsten Schmidt, head of the National Conservative Party was named Dundorf's Most Handsome. This came after he jokingly put in a application to go into the competition and was suprised to have won.

Reichsbund reforms, intends to compete in elections

Dunberg, Oderveld - Representatives from the Hosian Democratic Association, the Dundorfian Conservative Party and representatives from the big-tent National Monarchist Movement met at Bad Richtenrath, a resort town located in the mountains along the western portion of Oderveld to discuss formation of a new political movement. At the forefront was leader of the Hosian Democratic Association, Fabian Reeder, a noted political organizer and staunch supporter of democracy in Dundorf. The Dundorfian Conservative Party was represented by Thorsten Weisskopf, a celebrated economist who has spent a vast majority of his time in Vilnau, Dorvik following the develop the "DIE LINKE" political party which has attempt to repressed non-left wing individuals. The last component is Rayk von Auernheimer, a minor noble who was awarded his title by late Kaiser Wilhelm XX for his contributions to the National Monarchist Movement, where he was elected as President of the movement. The meeting which took place in May, 5077 and growing dire political situation pushed the triumvirate to re-form the Reichsbund, a former political league for its support of the Dundorfian Reich; notably a democratic version of the Dundorfian Reich. The Reichsbund has its roots in the Collapse of the Dundorfian Reich period where the Reichsbund was an association of right-wing and some far-right political parties that called for a democratic, constitutional monarchy with some supporting a republic. Over time the Reichsbund has been a coalition of parties supportive of a democratic republic with some light constitutional monarchist sprinkled in.

Reeder, who was elected President of the Reichsbund, noted that he wished to cooperate with like-minded political parties in Dundorf. The most notable being the National People's Party to compete against the left-wing in Dundorf which has crushed the nations hopes and aspirations for centuries. Several deputies of the National Congress have agree to transfer to the Reichsbund and immediately the Reichsbund went to work, proposing a bevy of legislation, notably to support the growth of Hosian values, the restoration of an independent central bank and proposing new labor and union laws. Reeder and Weisskopf met with Daniel Scheerbart, the leader of the All-Dundorfian Trade Union (Dundorfian: Gesamtdundorfische Gewerkschaft), one of the largest trade unions in the nation which opposes the current government due to their intolerant labor laws. "Collective bargaining is outlawed; unions cannot fight for their members for better quality of life. We're not quite sure what the "DIE LINKE" has done for the workers, but it appears they are simply an authoritarian political entity content with the jackboot on the neck of hard working Dundorfians!" Daniel Scheerbart, a member of the local Social Democratic Party of Dundorf, welcomed the Reichsbund and endorsed Reeder for the "Nation Vice Minister", a title that Reeder even questioned what it meant. "We'd settle for something generic, like President or something but this? We have no idea."

Disunity over Church leadership

The Confessional Ameliorate Church of Dundorf is made up of two primary sects, the Ameliorate (OOC: Calvinism) and Independent Confessional (OOC: Lutheran) branches, despite having different theological approaches to Hosianism. An Ecumenical Council was called in Neues Kirchenstadt, located in Oderveld following the news that High Reverend Bishop Lutz Wernicke following 27 years of leadership, will be stepping down due to poor health, at the head of the Confessional Ameliorate Church. While often contentious, the two ideological strains of the church have come to further blows over the election of a new leader. Bishop Dominic Weitz, a noted Independent Confessional and Clemens Rosin, the senior most Ameliorate Bishop will stand for election within the Ecumenical Council which will ultimately elect a leader.

The Ecumenical Council is comprised of 23 Bishops who are eligible for elections; 20 are from Dundorf proper with 12 being Ameliorate and 8 being Independent Confessional. The remaining three come from foreign areas, 1 will come from Dorvik, 1 will come from Hulstria and Gao-Soto and the third will be an at-large representative, coming from Ostland currently. As it stands, the Confessional Ameliorate Church of Dundorf has 20 dioceses, they will send 4 laypeople (non-ordained) and 4 clergy (ordained priests or deacons) to represent them at the Ecumenical Council which brings the total to 160 from diocese around Dundorf.

The Ameliorate branch of the church, its largest, finds itself on the defensive as the rise of the new Hosian Democratic Association has thrown its support behind the Independent Confessional leadership, and its leader Fabian Reeder, is an Independent Confessional follower and has met with the "senior" most Bishop of the Independent Confessional branch, Bishop Dominic Weitz. Weitz, a contender to replace the late High Reverend Bishop. Independent Confessional churches have often found their leadership in the north, where the Independent Confessional Church of Dorvik and the Luthoran Church of Hulstria are the two largest Independent Confessional churches across the sea in Hulstria and Gao-Soto.

High Reverend Bishop Lutz Wernicke has not set a timeline for the Ecumenical Council but it is expected that it will be soon.

EMERGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE MINISTER OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF DUNDORF

The former Königsführer of Dundorf, Wilhelm Cischard Albrecht of the Reichssozialist Partei, was murdered last night at 5:21 PM in Dunburg, Dundorf. The assailant shot the Königsführer at close range three times, twice through the chest and once through the neck. The Königsführer was immediately rushed to the Imperial Hospital of in Dunburg. The Königsführer arrived there at 5:34 PM, as the hospital luckily only 2 blocks away. The doctors were unable to save the Königsführer and he died 36 minutes after being shot, at 5:57 PM. The assailant has not yet been caught, but authorities have some leads, and one of their prime suspects is a man named John Brüsinger, a member of the National Dundorfian Revolutionary Association, a resistance group devoted to restoring true democracy and freedom to Dundorf. Brüsinger is currently in a holding cell in the headquarters of the military police. Prosecutors are charging him with high treason, and if found guilty, he could be executed by firing squad. His trial to determine his guilt or innocence is scheduled for January 4, 2122. The new Königsführer will be William R. Coburn, of the Reichssozialist Partei.

The trial of John Brüsinger took place yesterday, contrary to the set date of the year "2122", which is wrong. The trial actually took place yesterday on February 3, 5123. The press has released the wrong date and apologizes for any confusion caused.

On another note, John Brüsinger was found guilty of high treason unanimously by the 7-person jury. He was sentenced by judge Gunther A. Greenlaven to execution by firing squad on July 5, 5124.

NEUES DÜNDORF


The recent SED-RSP political coalition is a center of controversy for many people. The main purpose of the new Socialist coalition is to outvote the Capitalist KVP on most bills. In the past, the SED and the RSP have had many differences in voting, despite the same general socialist values, particularly in the topic of religion in justice. The SED promotes extreme atheism and liberal judicial policies, while the opposite is true for the RSP.

Here is an excerpt from the speech:

I believe that the two socialist parties are meant to be together, and together, we can fight the capitalist invasion. Dundorf is meant to be a socialist state, and I believe that it will be for a long time if the resistance joins forces. My people, please give your full support to the true upholders of Dundorfian society, culture, and strength, the socialist coalition. I have full hope that in the upcoming election, the socialist parties will prevail and win the vote. But that is only possible if you,the people of Dundorf, vote to uphold the parties working to make things better for you.

Although Hilbacht gave strong support of the coalition in her speech, will it last? Or will the old differences of the two parties come back to the surface and destroy the coalition?

May 5192 Elections and future of Dundorf

In his recent speech Volksparteiführer Heinrich Adam announced that Dundorfian 5192 Elections have ended with our Nationale Kommunistische Volkspartei gaining historic 75%! Opposition Reichsozialist Partei has gained barely 25%. Participation was 38%, with NKV winning in Dunlake, Chontalen, Grozvic, Oderveld and barely loosing in Julstoch. In his speech Adam also announced goals of his goverment,

We must stand on guard against the evil enemies of our nation! Enviromentalism and religion are tools of our foreign enemies to weaken our nation. For this we must exterminate them and not allow their rot into our hearts.

mainly protection of our nation against foreign enemies and continued efforts to exterminate plagues environmentalism and religion. On the question of monarchy he said

Monarchy was constitunally and legally reestabilished, so NKV will not be trying to abolish it again. Our people need beacon of stability in these times.
