Declaration of Dundorf Democratic Provisional Goverment

Volkspräsident Hans Zimmerman has given speech on the need of change.
NKV Goverment is destroying Dundorf, they call themselves nationalists yet they are the worst enemies of Dundorf. They are isolating our nation, don't care that our economy is collapsing and they subverted democratic process in our nation with their "Night of Shattered Glass". For this reason I ordered arrest of all high ranking NKV officials including Volkspremierminister Heinrich Adam and Council of Ministers. Loyal units of Nationale Volksarmee will be taking control of Dunburg. Here and now I declare Dundorf Democratic Provisional Goverment, which is in opposition and rebellion to NKV Loyalist Goverment.
Later on in his speech Zimmerman said that Adam and Council will be put to trial for national treason and Constitutional Assembly will write the new constitution. There are also rumors that Zimmerman plans to declare himself President-For-Life.

Zimmerman dissolves DBP!

On his last speech Bundenspräsident Zimmerman has announced dissolution of Dundorfische Bundenspartei.
After much discussion and debate, me an my colleagues have come to conclusion, than DBP is roadblock on Dundorfian way to democracy. To give breathing space to new parties, from now on Dundorfische Bundenspartei is no more. Members of DBP will resign on their political posts, but may run under different party.

Der Unabhängingen (The Independent)

LEAVING EXTREMISM BEHIND US

From our own correspondent

The newly elect VBD Government issued a statement introducing their intentions for the coming years. Bundeskanzlerin Margot Fliedermann said that a new era of freedom and middle of the road policies will be ahead. During a debate in the Bundestag Fliedermann expressed the future as follows:

We are here to make a historical major reform prossible. To give the Dundofrian People a decent democracy and a republican constitution. To end an era of extreme right or extreme left. Times of dictorship ends here and the time of freedom starts now by you voting in favour of this reform act: Die Grundlage der BRD (the foundation of the Bundesrepuplik Dundorfs).

I have discussed this with the current Head of State, Oberster Kaiser von Dündorf Wilhelm Theopolis Bötehöven von Oderveld XV Rainer Müller-Ladnethe. The Kaiser accepts the new reality and stated that he wishes to go in exile abroad voluntarily. The Government will negotiate appropiate arrangements with the royal family.

After this reform bill passes your House, there will be fresh new elections and the proces of renaming this nation will start as well.

Asked about where the Royal familywill go to, the Bundeskanzlerin said that the Government will contact some nations but that she cannot comment any further.

The Social Democratic Party continues to push its agenda for the workers and for the people

Founded now two years ago, the DSDP continues to present its agenda before the people of this country and before the now defunct old Parliament, awaiting for the democratic elections set to take place in a year. The Party has so far presented the economic agenda, the civil rights agenda, the military reform, and some other various acts. The hope of our leader, Nicholas Bauer, is to rally a strong majority of the Dundorfian people behind this agenda and beat the right-wing party next year.

Nordhausener Allgemeine Zeitung

5238 GENERAL ELECTION: BOEHLER RE-ELECTED PRESIDENT, THE FULL RESULTS

NORDENHAUS, DUNLAKE - Big celebrations last night in the headquarters of the DSDP and the DSVP, as Bundespraesidentin Anselma Boehler (DSDP) won re-election with 2/3 of the popular vote and the Soziale Volkspartei became the second largest party, overtaking centre-right Zentrum even in their stronghold of Oderveld.
The Social Democrats remained at the same level of popular support as of three years ago, around 34%, making them the favourites to retain the Chancellorship once again - although a coalition without them could be formed.
Foreign Affairs Minister Carola Gruber, who serves also as the party's General Secretary did not hide her emotion as this was the first election where she led the party, she congratulated President Boehler on her re-election and said she hopes Nicholas Bauer could continue his work as Chancellor.
Widerstand, the PLM and the Staatpartei all got disappointing results as their vote share decreased by some points, but they remain big enough to be crucial in the formation of the next Government - it's unlikely though, that Widerstand will be part of any Government: the party leader has announced that the party will serve in the Bundestag as part of the opposition.
Finally, the NDP celebrated the result as their vote share and seat share doubled, but will they be influential in the next Bundestag?
Now, the members-elect of the Bundestag will be sworn in, and the work for the formation of the new government will start, we still don't have any clue on the negotiations between parties but soon we shall know if Chancellor Bauer will retain his office.

The full election results:
DSDP - 34,1% (206 seats) / -0.4 compared to last election
DSVP - 27,2% (168 seats) / +16.7
ZEN - 19,7% (117 seats) / -8.3
WID - 8,1% (46 seats) / -2.1
SPD - 4,2% (24 seats) / -1.3
PLM - 4,1% (23 seats) / -5.8
NDP - 2,6% (14 seats) / +1.3

Are we at risk of voting again?
NORDENHAUS, DUNLAKE - The internal leadership struggle inside the Staatspartei is worrying the political world: if the party leadership decides to disband their party, all the members elected representing that party will resign - eventually leading the country into new elections.

Nordenhausener Allgemeine Zeitung

The second Bauer Administration is formed
NORDENHAUS, DUNLAKE - Since December, 1st Dundorf has a new Government: the second Bauer Administration. After three months of negotiations between parties, the DSDP and DSVP have agreed to form a new Government, centered on a common left-wing economic policy, and with Nicholas Bauer again at the helm.
Given the broad ideological nature of the DSVP, negotiations between Zentrum and the NDP also happened, which probably had in common a conservative social platform but, in November, Hugo Thielemann (DSVP leader) decided: he contacted Carola Gruber (DSDP leader) and agreed to the common economic platform which was at the base of the pact for a new Bauer government.
Both parties will also retain their autonomy in regards of social issues: the very liberal DSDP has pledged to not propose divisive bills - except for a "federalist bill" which would put the regional governments in charge of making decisions related to certain policies.
Widerstand has decided to pass some time serving in the opposition, which will be composed by Zentrum, the PLM, the NDP and the Staatpartei.

Dundorf set to approve the "Treaty Establishing the Seleyan and Artanian Development and Intervention Council"
NORDENHAUS, DUNLAKE - A treaty which will transform Dundorf's foreign policy is set to be approved by the Bundestag with a large majority. This treaty estabilishes the "SADIC", a Council composed by Artanian and Seleyan nations who cooperate in the economic and military field. A military force (SADICIF) would be estabilished for the purposes of carrying out humanitarian missions and for the countries' common defense, with 1% of the national defence bundget going to fund it.
It would also allow Dundorf to be part of the KEIF, an economic investment fund which would invest in Dundorf's agricultural and logisical areas while keeping in mind the respect to the environment.
This treaty is regarded as an "opportunity" by the Foreign Affairs Minister, which has proposed the ratification of it and will likely be approved next April.

Dundorf headed to early elections in January?
Gruber becomes DSDP candidate for Chancellor after Bauer's retirement

The Bauer Government is about to fulfill its promise to the Bundestag: when the economic package is passed, Dundorf will hold early elections in order to fill the vacancies in the Bundestag - the nation's legislature - created by the resignation of all the members of the former Staatspartei.
This wasn't an easy decision to take as the Bauer government has a big majority in the assembly, but the fact that millions of Dundorfians are currently without political representation clearly was a bigger factor to consider.
The new elections that are probably going to be held will be very important: they will mark the end of Nicholas Bauer's political career as he decided, after 20 years spent in politics, to retire and to return to his private life in Dunburg, Oderveld.
A senior member of the DSDP interviewed by us is clear: Secretary Carola Gruber will be the party's new candidate for Chancellor if the social-democrats retain their spot as Dundorf's largest party.
