SAP-D RefoundedMuch fanfare was apparent in Chonstaat as the Sozialistische Arbeiterpartei Dundorf (SAP-D) was refounded on the grounds of its old headquarters. It was in general a political rally, with speeches and slogans coloring the event. The main speech of the event was brought by new SAP-D leader Ralf Braun, strongly criticizing the racist and expansionist tendencies of the ruling NsB.
"The Reichslenker is a sham, a puppet of the NsB. Dundorf is now under the control of a corrupt ruler backed by a corrupt party, determined to undermine the spirit of democratic solidarity between all the peoples of Dundorf. The SAP-D was first founded in the times of the DDR, back when the government truly represented the age old Dundorfian motto 'Peace, Freedom and Solidarity'. Now let us bring back that age again. An age of peace, freedom and solidarity. Es lebe sozialismus! Es lebe solidaritat!"
SAP-D Public Relations officer Alexander Eisenhauer has given an official statement to the press on the nature of the SAP-D's refounding. "The SAP-D is here as an alternative to Dundorfians tired with the Reichslenker and the NsB" said Eisenhauer. "The Dundorfian people have been without a choice for too long." When asked by reporters on the possibility of a coalition government with the RSP, Eisenhauer merely replied "That is a possibility we are looking into."
The SAP-D was first founded nearly 700 years ago during the DDR period where socialist parties flourished. It's leadership fluctuated during its years in activity, whilst it did suffer temporary disbandment when much of its cadres travelled to Keris in order to support the fledgling KCCP revolution. Though it is still not possible to predict whether or not the presence of the SAP-D can truly impact the NsB's hold on power, the SAP-D will definitely bring more color to Dundorfian politics.
