Die Dunburg Welt Herold: Dundorf in Crisis

Dundorf has been in crisis for recent months. It was during this crisis of government that the rate of crime, especially violent crime, has skyrocketed. Exacerbated by the economic depression and the lack of government response, unemployment has remained high leaving the newly-impoverished to assault their fellow man in order to obtain their daily bread. But it is not merely poverty that has spiked the crime rate. Given the lax border patrols of Dundorf thousands have flooded into the nation hoping to exploit its vast population and resources for their own ends. It is estimated that there are now over 1,000 organized crime syndicates as well as an estimated 10,000 lesser gangs of petty criminals and narcotics dealers.

There have been 346 murders and slayings in Dunburg in the last six months with very few solved cases. Throughout the country, upwards of 13,000 have been killed in places ranging from the largest cities to small hamlets in all bezirke.

But light seems to be at the end of the tunnel, and that light is rapidly approaching. The Dundorfischkonservative Partei has arisen from the distant past with the promise of cleaning up and reforming a nation on its knees.

After some quick constitutional reforms, the Partei plans to tackle the crime, economic and social upheavals. Light has truly come to Dundorf in the form of the DKP.

Krohnprinz Johannes Augustus was crowned today in Westenkirche in central Dunburg. He has taken the name Georg Wilhelm IV upon his coronation and gave a brief statement to the press and the tens of thousands of spectators.

The new Kaiser Georg Wilhelm IV, 31, and his wife Lena, 21, will take up residence in the traditional Altes Schloss in the suburb of Bückeburg outside Dunburg.

Neues Dundorf Worker's Paradise Established

Today, SED Vorsitzender des Staatsrats der DDR, Genossin Maria Weber, announced that the Dundorfische Demokratische Republik (DDR) is a "Worker's Paradise". Frau Weber attended a meeting with the international press, gathered in the Kultur Hotel in Dunburg. The Sozialistische Einheitspartei Dundorfs, has made the impossible posible, she declared proudly. Low taxes, no private companies, peace and no religion are virtues which appeal to the blue collar citizens. Thanks to the SED this all could be achieved.

New Party Arises

The revolutionary and radical Nationalsozialistischen Bewegung have yet to take power but have began a political stir on the Dundorfian political scene. The party gaining in polls waiting for the elections and extensively campaigning although it is the only one to be on the lists to be voted into parliament. The party does not hide its racism nor does it hide its authoritarian agenda to legally establish it as such. The people, though - desperate after several failed governments and under repression from a Marxist government are agreeing for the policies. "Where we look, we see that efficient governments are either authoritarian or authoritarian in nature. Democracy only lengthens the process of needed reforms and as soon as we will be able to begin our agenda we shall for the best of our people" mentioned Schneider - the party leader. Frederick von Schneider - a revolutionary which was severally times arrested for speaking against the Marxist government is the current leader of the Nationalsozialistischen Bewegung which is due to win the elections and take government.

"We must hope for the best for our nation and not the worst like corrupt Marxist governments sought and later the failed democracy. We must begin the era of a greater Dundorfian Reich and under this shall our people flourish, our land expand and our culture become dominate in the world. In years to come, Dundorfian will be the second language learned by children in schools and people will watch our every move and mimic even the common Dundorfian for what he does." Schneider said at his party rally.

The Nationalsozialistischen Bewegung has enjoyed massive popularity with thousands flocking to see its leader and thousands attending rallies around the countries waving Imperial Dundorfian flags and hollering their support for the creation of a Dundorfian Reich under the leadership of Mr. Schneider and his counterparts. Nationalsozialistischen Bewegung Wins Elections

The Nationalsozialistischen Bewegung has successfully swept away all the seats in the Reich's Parliament in a very successfully election conduct by its party leader, Frederick von Schneider. The Nationalsozialistischen Bewegung, a new party but old movement has finally become influential in the nation as the nations largest party with constitutional majority and head of state. The party after winning the elections was quick to announce its major reforms and what it is planning to specifically do. The manifesto has shown that rapid immigration, economic and civil liberty reforms will be passed as soon as time allows for such. This is known as the NSB Manifesto which calls for radical reforms of the economy to serve the average proletariat as well as creating a strong national army which would also allow for more employment for the Dundorfian peoples. Civil Liberties "must be reduced to the ones that grant freedom to our people's and not others, while the other liberties should be discarded" mentioned the NSB spokesmen.

The party expects for these reforms to begin in a couple months time, as soon as new mayors are elected and constitutional changes are implemented.

Cabinet Replaced

After several months the new cabinet has been sworn in to serve the Dundorfian people eliminating the Libertarians which have disbanded just months before. "It is unfortunate that this process has took us so long, though we have been engulfed with a series of reforms which will be continuing accordingly". As the NSB spokesmen mentioned, the party has recently introduced a set of 2 lengthly reforms which effectively pull the nation out of un-desired treaties which violate the nations sovereignty. The party has also introduced religious reforms which will allow everyone to legally practice their religion in the country and stop the "nonsense imposed by communist governments proceeding the current NSB government." The party also have introduced several social and welfare programs to lend a hand to the poorer people of Dundorf and will be introducing higher taxes for the rich class in order to balance out the needed money. The party will also be introducing major rearmament programs and restructuring of the military in order to "offer efficient service to its citizens".

A mist the social and civil reforms the party has stressed that the military shall be their first priority in order to protect the nation and its citizens the spokesmen of NSB mentioned. "We will begin an active program which should end unemployment for good, as whoever does not have a job is more than welcome to serve in the military or for it producing different types of weapons. " The military program will strive to rearm and modernize the Dundorfian Armed Forces to become the "invinceble force of Terra for defense, offense and Dundorfian citizens".

The New Ruler, the New Ways

In the final struggle for an efficient government the large scale amendments to the constitution have been finished and passed. Now, the head of state is elected up until death and is known as the supreme ruler, or Dictator if you will of the country. With unlimited powers and the last say in everything, the Reichslenker is the ruler and protector of the nation.

Although, many people will look upon this new political system with a sour face, that fact that this government has already proved more efficient than the previous ones in a couple months means much. Already, high speed railways, and large motorways will be built. Bridges, tunnels and cities will be rebuilt to reflect the industrial model cities where everyone has their own home and own place to live in. Not to large, but not to small the cities shall be reconstructed while above their tops shall fly a new flag of the nation which has been deemed "temporary" by the Reichslenker. Major social projects or underway, which bring many jobs to the unemployed and profits to the government. The new way as begun!

Dundorfian Defense Plan

As evil communist countries such as Ikradon, or imperialistic democrats like Rutania inch closer in Dundorf the realize their leaders' Schnelle Krieg(or "Quick War") the government has drawn up plans of building a missile defense system, and placement of tank and air force regiments in key areas around the country to defend the country or begin an offensive war on the evil and sub-human governments and peoples of Ikradon and Rutania.

The people of Dundorf have began preparation for a possible war, as Ikradon attempts to militarize itself in the last minute to defend itself fearing a Dundorfian attack while Rutania directs it attention to Hutori, a Dundorfian ally. The course of this situation is yet unknown, though Dundorf is fully prepared. Creating the new Reichs Armed Forces, the brand new equipment and well trained men are ready for any challenge.
