Ministry of Finance unveils economic details of the nation's first Five Year Plan

Finance Minister Hans Schulz speaks before the Volksrat.
Today the Ministry of Finance has unveiled the economic details of the nation's first Five Year Plan, just one of three components of the plan, with the others being diplomatic strengthening and military improvement. Said latter components are to be implemented at a later unspecified date. In addition to the already broad economic aid proposed by Deltaria after the conclusion of Dundorf's membership summit into CARSS, the Ministry of Finance has proposed a mixed economic improvement plan, with the first implementation being a 20b Mark boost to the nation's tourism industry, along with the establishment of a national tourism service. Schulz also stated that the service would reach out to fellow Dundorfian embassies on foreign soil to possibly include flyers and brochures for said tourism program, encouraging foreign travel.
Other economic stimulus programs proposed by Schulz include a revamping of the nation's highway system through the establishment of a nationalized highway management agency. The nation's roads are in much need of redevelopment and many international roads that once belonged to the Artanian Union are in much need of revitalization. On said international roads, the general consensus amongst the Ministry of Finance has been nationalization as well. Briefly touching upon the diplomatic reforms included in the five year plan was a rigorous expansion of the nation's foreign office, with an additional 50b being poured into the nation's foreign office, putting it roughly on par with the nation's military funding. While Finanzminister Schulz has been scant on the details of Dundorf's diplomatic expansion, of which he states more will come when the "time is right", he has promised that the nation will commit to its cooperationist stance entrenched within the Metzistische Volkspartei's doctrine. "While I cannot exactly give details at the moment, as my office is still finalizing the structure of the Five Year Plan, I can assure you that we will devote this diplomatic expansion to the attraction of foreign investment and strengthening our diplomatic presence, both in our own continent and the rest of the world."
What was however extensively covered was the nation's vast military expansion, the final component of the Five Year Plan, which is expected to be the most quickest. With Deltaria already promising a permanent military base with a lengthy staff of over 500 soldiers on Dundorfian soil, along with combined training exercises, it is largely expected that the Ministry of Defense will cut an arms deal with Deltaria, along with building some of its own military equipment across the fatherland. General Marko Drache, once the nation's most powerful man, now chief of the general staff of the People's Revolutionary Army spoke at length about the nature of the military within the Five Year Plan. "We will treat our military in this Five Year Plan as Herr Schulz is treating the economy. A mixed approach of purchasing of Deltarian equipment, along with the construction of some of our own equipment here in the Fatherland is preferable. That way, as expansion of our military is the last proposal of the plan, it can be executed quickly and efficiently."
With an already large surplus in place with the adoption of moderate tax brackets, it is largely expected by fellow economic analysts that the plan will end with either an economic boom or a newly revitalized economy. With a welcome hand to foreign investment, as already explicitly defined within party doctrine, an economic stimulation is all but inevitable—The real question is the extent of the success that will be guaranteed after the conclusion of the plan. The recently formed state-run companies specified within the Establishment of Nationalized Companies law have already committed to both expanding the scope of their products on the mainland, while also allowing for exporting to foreign nations, so all manner of economic growth is possible for the distant future.
