Elements of the 3rd Rifle and the 13th Spetskomanda divisions of the Trigunian Ground Force, alongside the 7th and 11th Naval Infantry Motor Rifle Brigades have deployed to strategic points in Rodshyadam tonight, demanding that the government end its siege of the Bear's Den palace and allow Tsar Arkadiy II "to reign in peace, as is His right," according to a statement from Starshina (Petty Officer) Stepan Vakrushchev of the Naval Infantry.

The mass movement of these military units was entirely a surprise to the Astafyev administration, according to sources close to the President. Astafyev is rumored to have "sunk into drunken depression" according to one source, though Rech Naroda could not independently confirm these reports.

Troops have taken up positions on the major highways through Rodshydam and have begun intercepting all Federal Police dispatched in the areas of the Bear's Den and the Presidential Residence, where Astafyev has been since the beginning of the police cordon of the royal palace. No clashes have yet been reported between Federal Police and the military, though a battalion of the Rodshyadam garrison loyal to President Astafyev has reportedly been locked in its barracks on the eastern side of the city.

BREAKING: GUNFIRE AT THE BEAR'S DEN AS FEDERAL POLICE REFUSE TO LEAVE; PALACE SIEGE ENDED

At 0145 this morning gunfire erupted at the Bear's Den as elements of the 13th Spetskomanda division engaged the much more lightly armed Federal Police units which had been surrounding the royal palace since yesterday afternoon.

The Bear's Den had been surrounded by Federal Police units loyal to President Astafyev who had been reluctant to engage Palace Guards since yesterday. The 13th Spetskomanda division, one of several which had declared its support for the Tsar late last night, was tasked with achieving the chief royalist objective - the end of the siege and the liberation of Tsar Arkadiy II and his family.

Utilizing armored vehicles and a multi-purpose helicopter to quickly establish dominance over the Federal Police, the Spetskomanda troops began an encirclement of the encircling forces and pressed ever inward. In apparent coordination with the military, Palace Guard forces opened fire from the Bear's Den and the Federal Police units quickly succumbed, nearly half surrendering. Unofficial estimates place the loss of life at over twenty for the Federal Police and under five for the royalists.

When the gunfire ceased the commander of the 13th Spetskomanda division entered the Bear's Den and was received ceremoniously by the Tsar, who was said to be "in great spirits at the sight of his loyal troops." The end of the siege of the Bear's Den comes as a great defeat for the republican government of President Astafyev, who's administration did not respond to request for comment from this publication.

A convoy of military vehicles could be seen, leaving the Rodshyadam International Airport in early morning. Reportedly, Airborne Infantry units arrived from the Tirgith Domain, to reinforce the royalist forces in the capital.

Multiple military units were seen taking what could be described as defensive positions around the Presidential Palace. Identity of the units is unknown, but several sources claim that paratroopers were seen in the area.

BREAKING: PRESIDENTIAL RESIDENCE FALLS TO ROYALIST FORCES AFTER NEARLY A DAY OF BLOODY CLASHES WITH REPUBLICAN PARATROOPERS

The Presidential Residence has fallen into the hands of the 7th Naval Infantry Motor Rifle and the 13th Spetskomanda divisions after intense fighting began early yesterday morning when an element of the Airborne infantry, posing as royalists, sneaked through the royalist cordon and entrenched the Residence in defense of President Astafyev.

From roughly 0500 on 14 November until the early hours of the afternoon on 15 November, royalist forces utilizing armored personnel carriers and helicopters besieged the Siniys (OOC: Blues, a name for the Airborne, due to their distinctive blue berets) in the Presidential Residence but could not gain significant traction thanks to a stalwart last ditch defense. Much better armed than the Federal Police which had been quickly handled at the Bear's Den, the Airborne troopers "fought valiantly but ultimately failed due to the righteousness of the cause of the Tsar," according to a spokesman for the 7th Naval Infantry Motor Rifle.

Ultimately the battle was ended when a detachment of the 1st Guards Tank Division joined the royalist cause and utilized their heavy armor to overrun the beleaguered defenders.

The royalist military units raised the Tsar's emblem atop the Presidential Residence, which they call the "Viceroy's Residence," and Tsar Arkadiy II was transferred to the scene. When he arrived, he announced that Lyonya Brantov would serve as Viceroy of Trigunia, and announced the arrest of the "traitorous despot" Yakim Astafyev.

Anti-Democratic Front achieves electoral landslide, Vozhd assumes control of Trigunia

Rodshyadam -- To the surprise of many the openly fascist Anti-Democratic Front have won the elections with a massive landslide. In local elections the Anti-Democratic Front has already been an established party for many decades, first participating in the munincipality elections of Rodshyadam in 4319 and failed to gain any seats. For several decades the movement continued to exist and gained an everlasting reputation of a fascist, white supremacist, homophobic and ultra-conservative movement. Beyond a handful of regional seats scattered throughout Trigunia the party never gained any more influence. Until the ascension of Arkadiy Leonidivich as leader of the party. Leonidivich, called Arkasha by his close friends and family, was the troubled youngest child from a family of six. His real father, a namesake of the current Viceroy, was Leonid 'Lyonya' Akulov, who passed away at the age of forty-one, when young Arkadiy was four. His stepfather, Yaroslav Dementyev, was an alcoholic with a history of domestic abuse. Arkasha was known as a bright and creative child from an early age. His troubles at school did not change his ambitions to enter the Trigunian Academy of Arts when he turned seventeen. However mr. Leonidivich was turned down during two rounds of applications. Out of desperation, as childhood friends stated, Leonidivich enlisted in the Trigunian Armed Forces. After a four year stint he requested to leave the Trigunian Army and instead wrote out an application for the University of Rodshyadam. At the age of twentyone the once creative artist became a student of politicology.

For many years mr. Leonidivich, who only recently has begun using his paternal father's surname Akulov, worked at the federal police, the Alyona All-Trigunian Bank while being a part-time local politician for the Anti-Democratic Front. Upon the resignation of the second leader of the All-Democratic Front the ambitious mr. Leonidivich Akulov took his chance. A massive campaign was kickstarted, with the ADF fully preparing for national elections. It is still a mystery how the fascists acquired such immense funds. The brownshirts, as some call them, and their paramilitary the "Iron Watchmen", took to the sidelines during the Three Days Civil War. This is a move that subsequently worked out very well for the ADF in the post-chaos elections of yesterday. The elections were the first in Trigunia to be done be electronic voting. The fact processing of computer voting made the results available swiftly and the landslide of the ADF was staggering: 86.13%. The ADF failed to run a candidate for the position of Viceroy but according to party sources this was deliberate. "We do not recognize that post, let old Lyonya sit there and be useless" is what one senior member reportedly said.

What we do know however is that, with their newly acquired mandate, the ADF is planning to reform and revamp the Trigunian political system. Arkadiy Leonidivich Akulov will be named Vozhd of the Trigunian People, in Luthorian Leader. A classic fascist move to legitimize his personal cult and power surge. Will this be a new dawn of greatness for Trigunia? Time will tell.

KAZULIAN MILITARIZATION IS THREAT TO TRIGUNIA, SAYS FM

The Foreign Minister of Trigunia in a question and answer session today told reporters that Kazulia's continued rearmament and frequent military exercises are "threatening gestures toward Trigunia, the KEDA, and the world."

"The expansion of Kazulia's illegal activity in the Arctic, alongside its continued insistence upon military exercises with its puppet Lourenne and its Northern Council allies, and its continued procurement of weaponry specifically suited to an invasion of Trigunia and Keris are threatening gestures toward Trigunia, the KEDA, and the world. There is no precedent for such activity in peace time, and there has been no provocation from Trigunia or the KEDA or from any other regional entity to warrant this build up on the part of Kazulia. My office will seek the intervention of Kazulia's Northern Council allies in Dorvik if the Kazulians should continue to so blatantly unsettle the stability of northern Terra, and we of course will rely heavily on our allies in the KEDA, Indrala, Vanuku, and elsewhere to support us should we be required to defend ourselves."

ADF maintains majority, Vozhd warns "enemies of Trigunia", proposes coalition with 'Lyonya'

Rodshyadam -- The ADF has lost its two-third majority over the Trigunian Duma in the recent elections. However the fascists celebrated nonetheless, having succeeded in maintaining Akulov as the Vozhd of Trigunia and their new candidate Grigoriy Pushkin managed to win the elections for the position of Viceroy. With little over 56 percent of the seats in the Duma the Vozhd can not the main objective of the ADF: to abolish democracy in Trigunia and continue as a fascist state. However the fascists are in control and are seemingly attempting to work together with 'Lyonya' and his populists. The Vozhd has proposed a Coalition of National Unity, including Belaya Triguniya in the cabinet. This would unite the two parties with seats behind the rule of the Vozhd. Akulov has stated this cooperation is "by all means necessary to defend our sacred homeland against her enemies". The Vozhd has taken up a rather hawkish stance in recent years, openly stating that he feels threatened by the critical remarks made globally of Trigunia's course. "They judge us, they ridicule us, they prey on us, those Yeudi communists are trying to sniff at us and see if we whimper so they can destroy us!" is one famous statement by the Vozhd.

It is yet to show whether the aggressive stance of the Vozhd will discourage nations across the globe from agitating the Trigunian bear. It is however known that the Vozhd fully supported Foreign Minister Yurievich in his blasting of Kazulia's illegal activities. To prepare for any unforeseen circumstances it is rumoured that the Vozhd will propose radical changes to the Trigunian military.

Minister of Internal Affairs Vitomirovich receives word of possible resistance group operating in the motherland

The Minister of Internal Affairs and Chief of Police, Mr. Komissarov Vitormirovich, has received word of a possible resistance group operating within our motherland. The police have been unable to discover the name of such a group, but believe that they are a militant communist group who wish to destabilize our government. When approached by reporters, Mr. Vitormirovich promised "Swift and immediate action" against this supposed group, enacting speedy measures for the ensuring of stability to our great nation. When asked about the possible number of members of this organization, he stated "These numbers are unknown to us at the moment. However, I will be using the full power of my office to destroy these traitors to the motherland from within. The MoIA will keep the public informed, provided it does not pose a risk to national security." A fellow reporter from our newspaper also asked if the group had committed any attacks, but Mr. Vitormirovich declined to comment.

ACTIVISTS OF PARTIA SVYATOGO NARODA ORGANIZED A RALLY
On October 6th, over 5000 people lead by 1000 members from PSN and its paramilitary wing FRACSIA SPASENIA(Фракция Спасения) took part in PSN's rally Marsh Spasenia(Марш Спасения), which took part in Rodshyadam. PSN's leader Boris Ryabov answered some of our questions on the phone about this rally.

Interviewer: Hello Mr.Ryabov, I am very glad, that we can finally talk.
Boris Ryabov: I'm glad too.
I: So, the first question people usually say is why those people are protesting? Why have you organized this Rally?
BR: Well... As you know, a couple of days ago, Gosudarstvennaya Duma voted "no" on PSN's morality act, which was the bill, based on ideas from PSN's members of all ethnic and religious groups, so when they voted against it people were very angry--
I: But, excuse me, isn't the PSN an ultranationalist Rodshyan party?
BR: Oh no! We are NOT Rodshyan supremacist party. In fact, we think, that all of the Triguniyan people need to unite against common enemies.
I: Who are they those "common enemies"?
BR: They are indeed common. Those are corrupt officials and foreign invaders.
I: Thank you for your answers.
BR: Thank YOU for your questions.

Boris Ryabov have also in his speech during the rally, that PSN will continue to organize such events, so people can feel their power and let the government know, that they are angry and they want changes.

Train car explodes during heavy traffic in Rodshyadam Metro, 58 dead, approximate 100 injured

A busy December morning during the height of rush hour was suddenly and violently interrupted when a metro car suddenly exploded minutes after pulling in. 58 passengers are confirmed dead, with one being the prominent oil oligarch and close friend of the royal family, Aleksandr Petrovich, being among those lost. Police teams were immediately dispatched to remove the injured and an impromptu crime scene was set up. When asked by reporters, Senior Lieutenant Yuri Ostrovsky was unable to confirm the presence of foul play, but stated that it is an "Unfortunate and likely possibility". Eyewitnesses on scene recall the shock and terror they experienced: "It was as if lightning struck underground. My ears are still ringing!" remarked one commuter. "Bodies, luggage, limbs flying everywhere. It was awful." Despite the great tragedy that has befallen us today, Senior Lieutenant Ostrovsky vowed that "Whether an accident or not, the dead will receive retribution, in some way or another." Rech Naroda wishes him nothing but luck on his endeavor.

METZIST TERRORISTS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED, SAYS LYONYA, BLAMING REDS FOR METRO BOMBING

After the recent train bombing in the Rodshyadam Metro killed more than 50 people and injured many more, Viceroy Lyonya Brantov called upon the Ministry of Internal Affairs under Komissarov Vitormirovich to "handle Metzist terrorists with extreme prejudice." Minister Vitormirovich had publicly announced several months ago that Metzist terror cells were reportedly organizing in Trigunia, and is believed to be in political trouble after his ministry's failure to prevent the metro bombing.

Initial reports from the metro bombing were inconclusive as to the materials used or the motivation for the attack. A day after the bombing, however, the Federal Police learned of the involvement of Metzist elements in the planning and execution of the attack, according to sources with intimate knowledge of the investigation. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not yet publicly acknowledged Metzist involvement, but the Viceroy's endorsement of the idea lends it major credence.

Lyonya's public calling-out of Minister Vitormirovich is another instance of his willingness to buck the trend. Vitormirovich is a member of the Anti-Democratic Front, which rules in coalition with White Trigunia despite holding a majority of the State Duma. White Trigunia's position as an unnecessary partner for the ADF has led to Lyonya's relative silence over recent months, but the possible presence of a Metzist threat in the newly rekindled Grand Princedom appears to be too much for the 68 year old firebrand.

"Metzist terrorists will not be tolerated in Trigunia, mark my words," said the Viceroy to reporters. "The Ministry of Internal Affairs will find these dogs and rid our nation of their pestilential presence, mark my words."
