Rodshyadam, Rodshyadam Oblast, Radin - In light of a recent report issued by the World Congress Climate Change Panel, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers Andrei Kasyanov announced an increase into the infrastructure and transportation budget. This increase, roughly 1.5b Rabols more, will focus on the development of enhanced heated roads in major cities and major highways throughout Trigunia. Chairman Kasyanov stated that the idea of heavier snow will slow down trade, increase the thaw in the spring months and will have an impact on travel. Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Christov Petrovich Subbotin stated that he would be working with the Main Directorate of Federal Highways and Roadways to increase road-work teams, and would step up for the next two months the building of black-top roads and concrete roads throughout the interior of Trigunia. A portion of the 1.5b Rabol funds will be made available to Governors of the various oblasts in order for disaster relief and search and rescue. The Chairman also announced the amalgamation of several agencies and services into the State Emergency Situations Service, known in Rodshyan as GSCS, and will be responsible for a number of country-wide operations. The new Emergency Situations Service will be lead by an appointed Director. Major General of the Trigunian Aerospace Forces Tsezar Nikolayevich Vakhrushev, who served in the Military Aviation Transport Command, will become the first Director of the State Emergency Situations Service.

Chairman of the Trigunian State Atomic Energy Corporation, Dr. Zhenka Yanovich Klimov, stated that Trigunian nuclear reactors will be doubling their capacity in a safe manner to make up for the potential damage to conventional power sources. Trigunia is a world leader in nuclear power. The State Atomic Energy Corporation is responsible for the entire direction of Trigunian nuclear weapons, nuclear power, nuclear safety with regards to nuclear weapons. Despite world wide opposition to nuclear power at times, Trigunia has remained a world leader and the State Atomic Energy Corporation through one of its subsidiaries, the State Nuclear Power Plant Corporation, runs every single nuclear power plant in Trigunia. The decision to nationalize the industry was met with criticism several decades ago but the efforts of Minister of Science and Technology Maryna Andriyivna Ihnatenko have allowed the private sector to begin limited operations and ownership of components of the plants. It is likely that the SAEC and the SNPPC will allow privately owned, but state operated and overseen nuclear power plants within the next decade but it remains to be seen.

While the government has stepped up its efforts, the private sector has as well. A meeting of business officials, notably from Brakav, the center of southern trade and Vrosnok, the center of eastern trade, have chartered several dozen ice breakers and prepared them. Viceroy Kazimir Bogolyubov chaired a meeting with these officials and they have each pledged to the Trigunian government that they will do whatever they need to do to ensure that the Trigunian economy doesn't suffer. An estimated $750m LOD of icebreakers of all sizes have been purchased since the announcement of the World Congress Climate Change Panel in June.

Parties declared illegal

Rodshyadam, Radin Federal Subject - The Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel-General of the Police Isaak Abdulov has invoked the "Law on the Protection of the State" and has blocked the registering of the "Communist Party of Trigunia" and has done the same to the "Socialist Party of Trigunia". The Law of the Protection of the State grants the government of the Tsardom of Trigunia the ability to ban and prevent the formation or building of political parties that are "anti-monarchist, Republican, communist, socialist or other affiliated ideology is illegal". In conjunction with the announcement that the party will not be eligible to run in elections of the State Duma in 4630, the State Security Service has conducted a number of raids across the country focused on pro-communist and socialist groups. It is reported that the arrests have numbered around 100 and the State Security Service openly noted that they will be focused on "...conducting more raids against illegal and anti-government groups."

Chairman of the Council of Ministers Andrei Kasyanov and Foreign Affairs Minister Viktor Moskalenko condemned the continued violence to the east. Speaking to the General Assembly of the World Congress, the Chairman and the Foreign Affairs Minister condemned the actions of both Kazulia and Dankuk for coming to blows. "Armed tension is not what Dovani needs, it has already seen an uptick in violence and genocide, the conflict between Kazulia and Dankuk is harmful to regional and international stability. While we understand and sympathize with our Kazulian brothers, we cannot in good faith approve of anyone's actions. The Tsardom stands prepared to rebuild and assist following this bloody, unnecessary conflict." With that, the Trigunian Navy was dispatched to patrol the water between the countries and act as a protector of neutral and foreign ships. The Trigunian Naval Aviation conducted patrols to ensure that no foreign aircraft nor foreign ships were attacked accidentally and to provide further protection for Trigunian trade.

While all this was going on, the All-Trigunian People's Front announced that a General Council would be called to discuss "party leadership" and the political platform of the party. It is expected that the General Council will be called within a few years and we might see new leadership within the VNF for the first time since its re-foundation. The Viceroy, who holds the position as Chairman of the Supreme Council, will likely retain his role as leader of the party but the rise of men such as Andrei Kasyanov, the current Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Secretary of the Security Council, might place him in a much different position and poise him for leadership.

Trigunia continues to prepare for harsh winters

Trigunia - In the wake of an increasingly violent winter, the State Emergency Situations Agency has deployed its forces to the interior of Trigunia. In preparation for a harsh winter as provided for by the World Congress Climate Change Conference, the Trigunian government began adopting radical measures for the harsh incoming winter. This included an uptick in nuclear activity in the civilian sphere. Dr. Zhenka Yanovich Klimov, the Chair of the State Atomic Energy Corporation, has noted that nearly 56% of Trigunia's power now comes from nuclear energy and that his agency was working with the Trigunia government to ensure power supplies to all oblast and persons.

Members of the Trigunian Armed Forces were dispatched to assist rural areas, namely on the interior of the Trigunian nation where they were most impacted. Troops from the Emergency Situations Agency were also dispatched following a celebration to commemorate their foundation and successful effort. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure also noted that nearly 25% of all major powerlines had been removed to underground locations, drastically reducing powerline damage. While the MoTI noted it would take "several" years to conduct, it would he completed and would be one of the most ambitious Infrastructure plans that the Trigunian state has ever seen.

While this was going on the Main Directorate of Federal Highways and Roadways noted its expansion project was reaching its zenith despite the incoming winter. Expansion and widening of the major federal highways in Trigunia. The Trigunian Coastal Highway 1 in Radin was the first to be completed, followed by Brakav and efforts in Zarvosopol. Limited efforts were undertaken in Lesnov and Vrosnok due to an ambitious plan by local governments to re-invest its relatively large trading profits into its local citizens.

All-Trigunian People's Front prepares for radical shift in direction.

Rodshyadam, Radin Federal Subject - At the recent General Council of the All-Trigunian People's Front, current Chairman of the Council of Ministers Andrei Kasyanov was selected to succeed current Chairman of the Supreme Council and Viceroy Kazimir Ivanovich Bogolyubov as the new leader of the All-Trigunian People's Front. In addition to that, a bevy of new officials were selected as new positions across the board. A number of them coming from different ethnic backgrounds, such as Kozaki's, Vlozens and Vosteibians. The front-runner for the position of Deputy Chair of the VNF is Hulstro-Trigunian business magnate Baron Lorenz von Vólkerschlag-Mitterrau was selected as the parties Deputy Chair. The move, according to political outsiders, see it as a way to "build bridges" between the traditionally conservative Hulstro-Trigunians and the wider Trigunian population that has experienced a number of conflicts with the Hulstro-Trigunians over several dozen centuries. The newly elected leaders will assume their post January, 4362 when snap elections will be held according to the Office of the Viceroy. The aging Tsar and Great Prince Androniki I has continued grooming his successor, his son, a Major in the State Security Service Grand Duke Androniki II, has attended several meetings in place of his father who has suffered a series of medical episodes beginning in 4630. The current Tsar and Great Prince was born in August of 4567, making him as of Feburary, 4631 67 years old; despite his relatively young age, the Tsar and Great Prince has not been in good health since suffering a heart attack at the age of 55.

Despite the relative peace that has come over the world since the end of hostilities between Dankuk and Kazulia, which the Trigunian's oversees and continues to be involved with fellow Dovanian ally, Lourenne, in the peace program. The presence of a Deltarian base in Dankuk has been subject for concern for the Trigunian government and the Foreign Ministry has officially lodged complaints with the government of Dankuk and Trigunia for potential violations of the "Treaty of Rodshyadam". Deputy High Commissioner Onufri Victorovich Kolesov, who is the Trigunian Representative to the peace process, has called the presence of a Deltarian base in Dankuk "...a problem, and could potentially derail the peace process as a renewed sense of militarism could harm peaceful relations and programs in the entire region." The Deputy High Commissioner was critical of Dankuk in the welcoming of a Deltarian base on sovereign soil, believing that it violates the spirit of the Treaty of Rodshyadam and called on a meeting to discuss if it does between all parties.

Maks's Law of Politics: A Review of the Rise of the Union of Reactionaries

If you were to ask most people who supported the Soyuz Reaktsionerov (Union of Reactionaries) in the early election of July 4658, they would tell you that they wouldn't have seen themselves voting for a man such as Shults Maxim Petrovich for the Presidency of Trigunian Republic. A man with virtually no experience in the nation's politics, nor its military, nor even the private sector as a whole. You wouldn't be alone with that notion either, because Mr. Petrovich himself never saw himself running for such a position in his life not that long ago.

I never was really a, politically involved person in my life until recent. I never engaged in any activism on campus, never joined any clubs centered around any political leanings...honestly, I might've abstained from voting for who would be 5th grade Class President.

This line of banter was taken from a television interview of Shults Maxim Petrovich, commonly called and referred to as "Maks" by followers and critics alike, a few months before the protests that he rallied won its battle and new elections were held for the State Duma on July 1st. Supporters across the nation began debating and then voting on who would be inaugural party members of Soyuz Reaktsionerov. Maks's feelings for politics isn't outside of the norm for Trigunia, a nation who was nearing generation 2 of its "No political parties" doctrine as declared by the Vsetrigunianskiy Narodnyy Front (All-Trigunian People's Front). After several years of this new way of life for Trigunian politics, the VNF naturally eroded away for a nation with no political parties had no need for a one-party ruler.

As the ever worsening winters came and went for the nation, the politics of the land became just as cold and unbearable for some. As the senior members of the State Duma came and went, the world of Trigunian policy making seemed to have frozen over. Months would go by, and soon years, of little to no bills being put forward. The meetings of Duma members almost became a social event than anything else, and for a lot of citizens this compounded with specifically how much the State Duma was being paid to do nothing led to widespread frustration to total apathy of the way things became.

Enter to the story Mr. Petrovich, an early 30s philosopher and side hobby physicist. While trying to add a Master's in Education as well to settle into a life as a professor at a college, a public declaration that was broadcasted nationwide changed the course of his life and now Trigunian history. An open letter was written to and then published by most newspapers across the country about a claim from a "House of Alexei" about the intent of being the new rulers of the nation.

Good Day, Citizens of Trigunia.

Do you want a party that represents the true core and spirit of our nation? Do you want to be represented as a nation of hard working and always loyal citizens? Vote The House Of Alexei, a party that truly serves Trigunia.

This was the beginning lines of the attempt of forming a new political party, assumed to be by a family claiming to be a royal house with claims to the old throne. This made Maks, among many others, curious about the new House of Alexei. Maks however became less curious over time... and more obsessed. After doing more research, he learned more about this "house". About how their title of nobility was basically handed to them by a friend of the family who was in the Duma where any "political authority" could grant a title with little to no oversight. This followed other things that got under his skin more and more, including trying to make the vague term of "blasphemy" a full on criminal offense worthy of prison time and changing the capital city to Aleksandrovsk, a city they claimed was "named after them". Worse to Maks, they seemed to be gaining support. The following quote comes from a public town hall that Shults Petrovich attended via live broadcast.

I was just, reading all of these ever increasingly insane and outlandish positions and ideas and people were just eating it up. I couldn't, grasp it- It just made no sense. Then it hit me: people were eating it up because they were being fed something for once. The downside with the political party ban was being played out before us, Trigunians were starved for any type of ambition, of any form of change in their politics. The extremity of Trigunia's apolitical nature led to a lust, a desire, of an extreme political change. Even if it meant blindly crowning some fool Emperor despite having no real royal blood from any of the multiple houses that ruled prior. That's when my love for physics first became entangled with my newfound interest in politics. Normally, the laws of motion are pretty basic, we might not "learn" it instantly but we all get it very early. Objects in motion stay in motion, the same with inanimate objects staying still, every action has an equal or opposite reaction, so on and so on. However, in politics, inaction is an action. The act of doing nothing leads to things around that inaction happening directly in respond to the stimuli of no stimulus. This led me to state the thing that, well, pretty much changed my life when I called into Radio Trigunia to ramble on about this idea of a law in politics like laws in physics. That being, unlike in physics, in politics every inaction has an equal or opposite reaction.

This "ramble" quickly washed over the populace of Trigunia, and soon enough a man who once called himself "a career college student" went from venting on a public radio show about a family he never met to speaking in front of crowds of tens of thousands, revealing that for the first time in decades there will be an early election being held and that in that election, a political party would be on ballots nationally. That political party, one he founded a mere 2 years before this speech, is now the first leading political party for a generation of inactivity. And if his law is truly law and not just a theory, the state of Trigunian politics is going to be hyperactive.

First Year of Maks's Reactionaries Leads to Wins and Losses

The first year of Trigunia's revival politically has been, while new and exciting for the nation, much what you would expect from most other nations. The clock is beginning to tick closer and closer to the first true election cycle of this new system, with the ruling party seeing wins-and losses-with the people. Domestically, the Soyuz Reaktsionerov have been making widespread changes sector by sector during the time where they run absolute power over the Duma. The first sets of bils have been aimed at changing things like lower the age of what makes an adult down from 17 to 16, which Maks told reporters he always felt was an "awkward number" to make the benchmark, to restricting the reasons Trigunia's military allows itself to use chemical, biological, and nuclear weaponry. In that moment, the Union of Reactionaries were seen to be what the nation clamored for them to be: a change in the nation, but a sensible change with reasonable approaches.

Then the arms deal with Aldegar happened.1

If the Aldegarian regime could be described as anything, the word "brutal" is the most printable term to come to mind. Executing political rivals in broad daylight, launching tariff wars with other nations like Aloria, and the clear and blatant stockpiling of weaponry of their own making would surely combine to form a nation Trigunia would, historically, stand against. However, the reality of Trigunia is becoming the regime's strongest investor to its plans with what is surely a multi-billion dollar deal with them. Worst of all to some, this included selling blueprints of some of our vehicles for their own mass production. Maks had a chance to possibly ease the public's conscious on this, but in a rare moment the gifted speaker lost his touch and fumbled out an answer that summed up to "You have to talk to our Head of Defense about the deal".

So we did, but that interview will be published later in the month. This shifting of the blame though hurt the image of both Maks and the Soyuz Reaktsionerov, to the point now where a credible opposing party has formed in the Soyuz Demokratov (Union of Democrats). This doesn't seem to unsettle the Reactionary leader at all though.

When I started all of this, I didn't want a one-party rule. The goal wasn't for us to rule forever. It was to foster a healthy and functioning Duma again, and if this new Union of Democrats wins seats here and there... I think it's a good start. A two party system creates fear of gridlock, but it's better than no parties surely.

Imperialist Forces Seize Power in Trigunia

As is Trigunia's fashion, forces working against the taint of communism have succeeded again in liberating the nation, as elements of the Triguniuan Armed Forces and Security Services, supported the House of Udinov, and their political arm the Trigunian Democratic Party, in seizing power in the Trigunian capital. Under the leadership of former GBK Colonel Alexei Chernov, the Democrats have taken control of the nation and moved to restore the Tsardom, under the House of Udinov's Partirarch, Mikhail, who will take the throne as Tsar Mikhail I.

Key government facilities have been seized, and there was a general uprising against communist loyalists throughout Trigunia, which were unable to stop the rising tide of nationalism.

Constitutional Democratic Party deputies being sworn in.

Rodshyadam, Radin Oblast - The first session of the State Duma saw a wide variety of laws passed by the Constitutional Democratic Party, the first among them was the "Law on Economic Liberation" which provides for massive liberalization of the Trigunian economy. One of the hallmarks of the Kadets is economic freedom and the development of the Trigunian middle class, considered to them to be one of the central tenants of success for any modern country. The economic program is largely put together by incoming Minister of Finance Izyumov Nikolayevich and Minister of Trade and Industry Arefyev Filippovich, both of which serve as veteran economist for the National Chamber of Commerce, the sovereign wealth fund of Trigunia and manages several funds meant to invest domestically and abroad for Trigunia. The economic program also has the support of the incoming Great Prince and Tsar, Volkov I, who himself is an economist who has studied across the world in the various fields of economics.

The undoubtably most important change is the privatization of the Trigunian economy. While the Trigunian economy is largely independent the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Trade and Industry will oversee the privatization of the Trigunian economy. The government will however maintain a policy of investing in companies and industries that provide what the government considers to be vital goods and services to keep them afloat.

The incoming Minister of Finance Izyumov Nikolayevich announced that the Trigunian government would provide a "Winter Subsidy" (Rodshyan: Зимняя субсидия; tr. Zimnyaya subsidiya) which will provide a Trigunian Rabol check to those classified as "low income" by the Ministry of Finance during the winter months. Winter months in Trigunia are classified as October through April according to the Ministry of the Environment and Tourism with a "flex month" for April depending on regional temperatures. The rate for the Trigunian Rabol will be dependent on heating and energy costs, which will largely be decided by market value for heating during the winter months. In accordance with regulations of the Ministry of Finance, the State Bank of Trigunia will have its operations given free reign without active government interference. GosBank, the Rodshyan conjugation of Gosudarstvennyy bank or State Bank in Luthorian. This is the first wide-scale social welfare program proposed by the Constitutional Democratic Party, often called the "Kadets" from their background of soldiers and security forces as well as their Rodshyan conjugation of "K-D". One of the hallmarks of the Kadets political program is the development of a comprehensive social welfare program, provided for by the state, and influenced by contributions of all Trigunians.

Ministry of Trade and Industry, who oversees labor within Trigunia, has announced new regulations that will be enforced by the State Duma on allowing workers who strike without reasonable cause to be fired. The move, condemned by left-wing members of the Constitutional Democratic Party, is seen as a means to crack down on left-wing labor organizations who use general strikes as a political means. Incoming Minister of Trade and Industry Arefyev Filippovich stated that the change in the Trigunian Labor Law was meant to reduce general strikes as a means to cripple the Trigunian economy by "...radical, militant leftist and communist who often undermine the Trigunian state through lies and illegal strikes."
