Rodshyadam Today: State Security Service confirms Communist loyalist responsible behind earlier train bombing

Traktorgrad, Brakav Federal District - State Security Service Director Vitomir Stanislavovich Dobrolyubov has confirmed that Communist loyalist from the former government were responsible for the bombing of train tracks outside of Rodshyadam that killed 17, injuring another 100. The State Security Service announced a number of nation-wide crackdowns and raids on Communist strong-holds, including a number of people arrested in the Traktorgrad Oblast in the Brakav Federal District. Among those arrested include former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Gavril Romanovich Fukin who was arrested on charges of treason and providing material support to a terrorist organization. Director Dobrolyubov and President Usov have gone and called the organization the "Red Orchesta" (Rodshyan: Красный оркестр; tr. Krasnyy orkestr) and believe it is being lead by former Deputy Secretary-General of the Communist Party of Trigunia Onufri Yemelyanovich Kariyev but that is not confirmed. President Usov addressed the nation shortly after the bombing in which he vowed to crackdown on these elements in Trigunian society. Trigunia has had recent troubles with breakaway elements in Trigunian society notably Communist sympathizers and certain breakaway Ahmadi's in the former area of the Abreken Republic.

Trigunian News Agency: Foreign Minister Khalturin pushes "Delic Pact"

Rodshyadam, Radin Oblast - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Minister Ilarion Vadimovich Khalturin have been reclusive since the new government came into power in June, 5004. Almost 3 years later the Foreign Minister has made his first official, major diplomatic move according to Bashnya insiders. The Foreign Minister has reached out to a resurgent Deltaria in Majatra to discuss the formation of a "Delic Pact". The Rodshyan people share common ancestry with many Deltarian ethnic groups and many have seen the two work closely throughout history but now at a time when the international economy is stumbling and Trigunia is short on allies both regionally and internationally, the appearance of a vibrant, active government in Cachtice provides the means for the Trigunian government to find new allies, new markets and common ground. Khalturin made his first overture to a "Delic Pact" at the Delic Cultural Affairs Conference which has met annually in Rodshyadam and has pushed for closer relations between Delic majority and significant minority countries. President Usov has recently replaced the Ambassador to Deltaria following a series of disputes and controversies where the ambassador had chided the government for backing away from its Communist roots; it was unknown that the ambassador had ties to the former Communist Party of Trigunia. The former ambassador has been jailed and is awaiting trial after it was discovered that he had embezzled several hundred thousand Rabols from his diplomatic post. The new ambassador to Deltaria, Zinon Vadimovich Susnin, is well prepared and loyal to the new government in Rodshydam. The jailing of the former ambassador and his ties continue to highlight the issue that the new government faces. President Usov vowed that further investigations would be conducted into diplomatic staff; this was a major part of the internal agenda for the new Foreign Minister and it has been reported that President Usov is not pleased with the gaffe but the two have remained close despite the failure.

Rodshyadam Today: Communist Party of Trigunia seizes power in Rodshyadam

Rodshyadam, Radin Oblast - The Bashnya was alight with the fires of revolution as the nascent Communist Party of Trigunia have proclaimed a new Communist government in Rodshyadam. The CPT has existed throughout the history of Trigunia since its founding but has had many factions, splinters and breakaways but underneath now General Secretary Aleksandr "Sasha" Boyarov, those fractures were mended either through force or through true political will. Following a series of general strikes, protests and riots the CPT found themselves in a position of leadership throughout a number of major cities throughout Trigunia. The most prominent being the capture of Rodshyadam's city leadership, now General Secretary Boyarov sat as the First Secretary of the Rodshyadam City Committee and was elected Mayor. Boyarov has promised that the new leadership of the CPT will adopt a more "modern" take on leadership; reportedly they will maintain both party and government titles separately. The sweeping of elections a local and oblast level have prompted many within the caretaker government to begin to flee, loyalist elements within the already battered Trigunian Armed Forces have pledged loyalty to the new General Secretary. In a hastily organized meeting at the now defunct State Duma building, the various deputies proclaimed the formation of the new "Trigunian Federation of Socialist Republics" and declared that Boyarov would serve as the first "President" while simultaneously appointing him as Chairman of the State Council. Boyarov's close ally and confidant Artemiy Sergeyev as the new Chairman of the Council of Ministers, the government of the new TFSR.

In a bevy of appointments the new President and General Secretary announced that Yelisey Kovshevnikov will assume the mantle of Minister of Defense and the Chief of the General Staff, combining the two roles and awarding Kovshevnikov the rank of "Army General" in the Trigunian Ground Forces. Kovshevnikov will have a daunting task as the Trigunian Armed Forces faces a mounting crisis of leadership, material and personnel. The last major push to modernize, update and re-develop the Trigunian Armed Forces was conducted by the now defunct Usov administration in 5004. Boyarov also appointed former Colonel-General of the Trigunian Police Vsevolod "Vova" Krasotkin as the Internal Affairs Minister who will face the monumental task on cracking down on the public disorder throughout Trigunia and its several regions. Boyarov issued a decree that temporarily suspended all trading on the Rodshyadamn Stock Exchange (RSE) but noted that the RSE will resume functions following the overhaul of Finance Ministry and the Trade and Industry Ministry; however outsiders are saying that he might resume trading within the next month to prevent an economic windfall.

The appointment of Dionisiy Baryshev as Finance Minister has prompted political and economic experts to suggest that Trigunian might not totally go "communist" and will likely allow enterprises to continue to exist with some central planning elements. Baryshev will likely lead the State Economic Planning Committee (GOSEKOP) as First Deputy Chairman and will be a major functionary in the rebuilding of the Trigunian economy.

Rodshyadam Today: President Boyarov confirms operational status of new government

Trigunian soldiers assisting Neftkomp leadership in securing holdout oil terminals and gas ports.

Rodshyadam, Radin Oblast - President Boyarov has announced the total nationalization of the Trigunian state oil and gas corporation, Neftkomp. Underneath previous governments the corporation was largely owned by the government but also private investors. In a press release from the State Economic Planning Committee, the First Deputy Chairman Dionisiy Baryshev, also the Finance Minister, announced that the government had agreed with private investors to buy them out for 37% of their initial investment. While the deal is likely not favorable to the investors, it is likely that they have earned the favor of the new government in Rodshydam. Since the assumption of power by the Communist Party of Trigunia there have been significant economic improvements throughout Trigunia, notably in local economy which had broken down in recent years as the government functions throughout Trigunia had continued to degrade. Chairman of the Council of Ministers Prokhor Vakhrov noted in a speech before the assembled Deputies of the People's Duma that nearly all city and oblast committees had been filled and 97% of the government with the exception of some specific areas had fully functioning, operational governments. President Boyarov has continued his policy of duplicity when it comes to party and state appointments; notably in ensuring that the CPT remains in total control.

The nationalization of Neftkomp signaled somewhat of panic within oil speculation across Terra combined with the recent news of Kafuristan's popular revolution. The newly appointment Chairman of Neftkomp, Lavrentiy Maximovich Bezukladnikov, a member of the Central Committee of the CPT and Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry for Oil and Gas, announced that there would be no interruption to any of the Trigunian services domestically. It has been reported that Neftkomp has seized control over several ports and oil terminals across Trigunia from hold out elements of corporations that refused to listen to the new governments nationalization decree. Elements of the new Trigunian Red Army and forces from the Ministry of Internal Affairs bolstered the negotiation process of Neftkomp with those holdout elements.

Boyarov has also authorized the first State Budget, which will take effect December, 5028. The State Budget, which will last for 5 years according to the spokeswoman for the State Economic Planning Committee will overhaul the entire budget, focus on eliminating corruption and graft and work towards ensuring that profits are spread to citizens. A notable increase from previous spending reports of past administrations include slashing the bloated defense budget at the request of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff; a request that was made after it was discovered that the past government had stolen millions of Trigunian Rabols under the guise of "projects" for the Trigunian Armed Forces. A boost to the Ministry of Justice spending is expected to dwindle after the Communist Party of Trigunia handles the lawlessness and order problems plaguing the country. Shifts in the food and agriculture budget are aimed at reducing the components of the population which are starving, the increase in environment and tourism is focused on the Winter Subsidy and the development of strategic farms to manage cold weather crops as the harsh Trigunian winter continues.

General Assembly, Whale Island - The Foreign Ministry of Trigunia has confirmed that unarmed vessels bearing the Trigunian Federation of Socialist Republic's flags have departed for Vorona. The Foreign Minister, Aleksei (Alyosha) Igorevich Kutuzov, has also officially condemned the alleged actions of Deltaria for interfering with the democratically elected government of Vorona and sponsoring a military coup in the country. The country has descended into chaos according to numerous domestic and international reports and news agencies. In a stunning reversal the World Congress has sudden come alive, electing 4 new members with its fifth seat for Dovani still up in the air. Trigunia was not elected but has cited that the pro-Imperialist Security Council is not within its "wheel house" of interest at this moment. The aid shipment includes thousands of pounds of food, basic humanitarian aid such as first aid kits, clean water, specialized water treatment kits and basic life needs. The aid shipment will be protected by private military contractors who have been hired by the Trigunian state to protect the shipment. The Foreign Ministry issued a statement of support for the Voronan government. "We stand firmly with the Voronan people who have had their sovereignty, their liberty and their rights forcibly removed from them by the Deltarian government. This shipment of aid is just the first of many and the first of many actions that the Trigunian government will take against the pro-Imperialist throughout the globe."

Thousands of Trigunian Ahmadi's rally in Chelyakan, the new capital of the AASR

Chelyakan, Abreken ASR - Borz Arsanukayev, the newly minted First Secretary of the Abreken Communist Party and new Chairman of the Supreme Soviet, held a massive rally for the newly authorized Abreken Autonomous Socialist Republic (AASR). Arsanukayev has been a vocal deputy of the People's Duma since the inception of the TFSR and has called for the Trigunian government and the Communist Party of Trigunia to recognize the contributions of Trigunian Ahmadi's. Abrekia, sometimes known as Vlozneya, has long been the cultural epicenter of Trigunian Ahmadi's since forced migrations placed them there centuries prior during the Trigunian Tsardom. The region known as Abrekia comprises the modern Gorny Zamok, Kandzhik and Stary Kautsky oblasts and is home to nearly all of Trigunia's Ahmadi's, it is also home to the Vlozen people of which nearly 99% are Ahmadi and make up a substantial portion of the leadership in the Abreken ASR. The region has suffered in recent decades as unemployment have plagued the areas that make up Abrekia.

Some hardline ethno-nationalist within the nation believe that the naming of the ASR "Abreken" after "Abrekia" is wrong. The Vlozen people believe that the ASR should've been called the Vlozen Autonomous Socialist Republic after the local name of the region, Vlozneya. Kerimsultan Baxayev, the leader of the ethno-nationalist wing of the Abreken Communist Party has welcomed the decision but believes that the People's Duma and the wider CPT must rectify this change or else there will further protest and rallies against the central government in Rodshyadam.

The Petrovgrad has been drydocked according to the Trigunian Ministry of Defense.

Rodshyadam, Radin Oblast - Defense Minister and Chief of the General Staff Army General Yelisey Kovshevnikov has announced that the Petrovgrad and the Markov Pavlovich, the two Yegorovich-class aircraft carriers that are possessed by the Trigunian Armed Forces, would be sidelined in favor of more applicable and current approaches to the Trigunian Navy. The decision to sideline the Petrovgrad and the Markov Pavlovich in a drydock was likely made with the highest approval of the Trigunian government the Communist Party of Trigunia. The blow to the prestige of the Trigunian Navy is likely a bitter pill for President and General Secretary Boyarov to swallow as well as those within the Trigunian government who have been pushing for more defense spending, wider international deployments since the CPT's assumption of power. General Kovshevnikov has promised that the sidelining the Petrovgrad and the Markov Pavlovich is not permanent as the vessels will be undergoing a massive modernization and overhaul, something that is in dire need for the vessels as a whole. The Rodshyadam, the sole Rodshyadam-class aircraft carrier will remain in service but is unlikely to undertake any blue water operations as the Trigunian Navy is skeptical that the vessel could pass basic sea trials according to sources within the Trigunian Navy. The Trigunian Navy and defense contractors have pushed through a number of rapid, rather efficient upgrades and modernization to the non-aircraft carrier vessels of the Trigunian Navy as these will likely take center stage of any potential conflict in the near future.

Kaiserberg, Brakav - The Trigunian Foreign Ministry condemned the move of the Security Council to send armed peacekeepers to Vorona. Foreign Minister Aleksei Kutuzov stated: "With typical Neo-Imperialist fashion, the powers on the Security Council have authorized armed action against a people who are suffering underneath the weight of Deltarian aggression and illegal actions in their country. As we've stated in the past, we're going to send humanitarian aid to the Voronan people and legally elected government of Vorona. In light of the decision to send armed "peacekeepers", I use that term lightly, we are forced to send a protection force for our citizens and comrades in Vorona. President Boyarov has authorized a limited contingent of the Trigunian Armed Forces to participate in this to further protect the people of Vorona and the true, democratically elected government in Vorona." A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Defense announced that Major General (Naval Infantry) Korney Leonidovich Chelpanov will be leading the titled "Group of Forces in Vorona" which will be underneath the oversight of the Office of International Peacekeeping as a component of the Collective Rapid Reaction Force or KSOR in Rodshyan. When questioned about the composition of the Group of Forces in Vorona, the Ministry of Defense confirmed that it would be comprised mostly of a battalion tactical group of the 2nd Guards Naval Infantry Brigade.

The greater emphasis was placed on the massive aid package that was being delivered directly to the Vorona government which is seen legitimate in the eyes of The Bashnya. The aide package includes a low-interest loan for nearly $25m LOD with an additional $25m LOD optional, a number of "refugee" packages as the Trigunian government has called them which include basic living spaces such as tents and temporary structures, basic water filtering an cleaning stations, a large amount of clean water, rice and basic ration-type food which can be kept in a variety of different environments, the Trigunian government will be dispatching a number of aide and refugee specialist alongside financial and legal advisors to assist the Voronan government as well as its people. Reports have surfaced that the Trigunian government has offered the hand of the Trigunian Armed Forces directly to the new government should they require assistance but that has been denied outright by the Trigunian government.
