everything will be fully established by the next election, as Lord Tyron said.
Lord Tyron
The question still remains: Is this continent ready to take on the responsibilities of a unified supranational organisation aimed at integrating our efforts towards a common ideal and a unified democracy. The Artanian Union will return, however its return will not be an overnight operation. It will need time, patience and cooperation.
As it is already known by the masses, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in collaboration with the Central Metropolitan Police Service, has launched an investigation into corruption and misconduct within the armed forces and security services. It is the share opinion of both the Office of the Prime Minister and the Defence Ministry that the Armed Forces and the Security Services have been at the master-point of corruption and misconduct. As of recent times, around one hundred NCOs and law enforcement officials have been arrested over charges relating to espionage, high treason, financing terrorism and corruption, with around fifty high-ranking military and law enforcement personnel being arrested under similar charges. It is imperative that a level of secrecy of the investigation be upheld, as such this Ministry does not intend on releasing any more information pertaining to this.
Government support for small businesses must be one of the several pillars supporting our nation's economy. Previous administrations have not recognised this and as such have bypassed the opportunity to surpass many nations in the region in economic development. We intend on introducing a focus-plan to assist startup, small businesses in competing within the local, regional and international markets.
If politicians decide to call a referendum, it is the politician's duty to inform and persuade the voters. However, when said politicians refuse to inform the citizenry as to the basis behind their choice to either leave or remain, it is not the organisation's fault but that of the politicians tasked with informing and persuading. A review of Aloria's AU referendum process will highlight its faulty nature. Within the chambers of its parliament, there existed no argument in support of either side. If you refuse to engage in a qualitative argument to support your basis, you will loss the argument. It is clear that the anger and blame is being misdirected. The Union should not be blamed for the incompetence of politicians and their refusal to engage in an argument. In their bill titled: Withdrawal from the Artanian Union, their own Labour Party calls for a presented argument, saying: Without 0 presented argument, we cannot agree. Yet the Artanian Union is to blame? The Alorian President's own party, the party which championed the cause of leave the Artanian Union, presented no argument throughout its campaign. Instead it resorted to the lowest standard of fear mongering and feeding its population inaccurate information and lies, talking about membership fees in their "leave campaign" (membership fees which had not even been conceptualised as there was no formal sitting of the entire Union during its period of activity aimed at outlining the membership fees(According to the ). Yet the Artanian Union is to blame. But i digress.
In their referendum towards leaving the Artanian Union, the Alorian government spoon fed its citizenry the inaccurate image that the Artanian Union had been forcing supranational laws onto the nation thus attempting to rid the nation of its sovereignty. However, i would like to tap into the sensible portion of every individual's brains. Due to the inactivity of its member states when it came to the formation of a legitimate constitution for the organisation to begin operating functionally, attempts to form organisations under the banner of the Artanian Union failed. Although discussions were held within the General Assembly of the Union, that was the only extent at which formal discussions/framework were laid down. The sentiment that the AU has been placing supranational policies on its memberships is (1) Irrational as the members of the Union have never formally met to discuss such proceedings whether it pertains to the integration of supposed laws; (2) Baseless, as those championing this facade have brought no evidence to support their claim. Said individuals rely on fear-mongering and a hope that persons would take their illegitimate opinions into consideration without questioning their intentions. I am yet to see any evidence of a rational argument (or an argument at all) from the Alorian government with respect to this issue. On the sentiment of Sovereignty, You should have been in the organisation, fighting for Alorian interests, partaking in discussions aimed at ensuring your country had an equal say. Instead you left the organisation in an idiotic frenzy. Your nation didn't even partake in discussions in the General Assembly when it had its phases of activity. Yet you question as to why your nation "doesn't have a say" in the organisation. It brings it all back to the core point: Your refusal to engage. Instead of picking up the mantle and working towards orientating the system towards a manner which would please your nation's interests and interests of overs, you decided leave the organisation, sit there and watch it die. You refused to bring an alternate plan, you refused to bring anything of substance (anything at all) to the debate of discussion. You simply sit there and criticise and spoon feed misinformation to your citizenry. You have rid your people of its sovereignty not the Artanian Union. You will not destroy the AU, you will destroy yourself.
