The Luthorian Daily Times :

- The Fall of the Leadership of the Alliance Party and its future:

The recent downfall of Elizabeth Holmes and the entire National Committee of the Alliance was seen as unsurprising, Holmes' control and political power over the Alliance Party was small, much splashed by slingers to her leadership. The political machines of the Wings of the Alliance, the Left, the Center and the Right are preparing for a long and tough campaign, it will be necessary to convince the conventions of the merits of their ideas, to seek the support of organizations, long support of Alliance Party, business, labor, charities, military, clergy, this support could prove decisive for the rest of the Campaign and Congress itself.

- The Candidates for the Investiture of their Party:
The Fall of Holmes and the Central Committee has seen candidates from all sides emerge to claim the top job, from right-wing segregationists to left-wing communists, there's something for every political side within the Alliance Party, there's has candidates retrying to secure their colleagues' nomination for the job, such as Brandon Livingston, 46, considered by many to be the leader of the Alliance Party's Left-Wing since the fall and disgrace of Estas Gallagher, he is since 5160, Senator of Orange, after having been deputy for this same duchy between 5154 and 5160, he is considered as much as a leader of the Left-Wing because of his promises, being radically on the left , too left-wing to collaborate with the right, but for many collaborators, he is rather social-liberal with characteristics that will make the left happy with his reforms. There is also Lincoln Hoover who is running again, he who was defeated by the Holmes-Goldwater Alliance at the last Congress managed to secure the support of a majority of conservatives who did not want to be associated with the disastrous reign of Elizabeth Holmes. This 50-year-old man is a conservative who wants to reform the Alliance Party into a morally conservative party, turned towards liberalism and inclined towards religion, it will be extremely complicated for him, because the Alliance Party is a party whose movements for civil rights, LGBT+ rights give their support, and they take a dim view of this "reactionary" wanting to have leadership or significant influence in the future policy of the Alliance Party. We move on the political sphere to arrive at the Center Wing, to have a well-known candidate, the "leader" of the Center Wing, Albert Hart, aged of the venerable age of 62, the Liberal Fighter, liberal pure and hard , opposed to any form of socialism or conservatism in his "Great Society", a pro-business, favorable to low taxes, whether towards companies or the people, he is also an ardent defender, his political positions him worth allies within the Party, but also earned him many enemies, the progressives reproached him for his lack of firmness against the injustice to Luthori, whether racial or on more judicial, economic issues etc..., on the other hand, the conservatives reproach him for his lack of morality in his program, a lack of economic rigor and a lack of program on the "reconquest" of the Society, which was "withdrawn" by the left. Only time will tell if the more experienced candidates will manage to do better than during the last participation, especially with new challengers coming to counter them in their road to power.

- New candidates and new paths:
With most of the former candidates running for office, trying to win the seat of Alliance Party leader, several new candidates, young and old, have been running for leadership, such as Benjamin Kennedy, a member of the political dynasty of the Kennedys, and a member of the board of directors of 19 companies, small, medium and large, including his family's, the wealthy Kennedy Corporation for Steel (KCS), you would think that he is one of those liberals who will make companies have less taxes, well, not surprisingly, since he is part of the Kennedy Dynasty, a dynasty being politically progressive and sometimes socialist, he is a Progressive Democrat, following the ideology of Progressive Democracy, which is an ideology that must make Progressive Democracy become more and more Direct Democracy, by implementing progressive policies and socialist policies at the economic level, it will try to end up nancing his reforms by creating long-term jobs, by increasing taxes in order to be able to increase the budget allocated by the government to certain sectors, but also by having projects financed by private funds, he wants to make justice reign, whether it be social, racial, sexual, he wants to reign justice by any means necessary, via stronger legislation or via court orders, and perhaps by less orthodox means. There is also William Smith Glenn, a famous astronaut, having not appreciated the reduction in the budget of the LSA (Luthorian Space Administration), sees the future of Luthori in the stars, he wants Luthori to set out to go explore the planets in space, and also to explore the powers of the atom, to bring Luthori into the ranks of the great military powers, he is a social-liberal, wanting to have social coverage for all citizens but being liberal enough, he's a hardline liberal on a societal level, accepting change and accompanying it, he thinks radicalism must be eliminated from Luthori for good, with legal means, with laws limiting their influence, but he wants to stay within the constitutional framework. Several other candidates are vying for the position, but compared to these candidates, they have little or very little chance of emerging as the winner...

The Luthorian Daily Times

Kennedy Elected to lead the Alliance Party, the APL-Left Progressives win the majority of seats on the APL National Committee :
Kennedy did it, that young Swanteadian did it, he got elected! Today, the day of the proclamation of the results of the Extraordinary Congress, which took place after the announcement of the resignation of Holmes and the National Committee of the Alliance Party, it took two days to know who will be the next leader of the Alliance Party after the departure in disgrace of Elizabeth Holmes, the answer was given today with the announcement of the election of Benjamin "Ben" Hubert Kennedy as head of the Alliance Party of Luthori, this character , young, charismatic, and reputed to be charming, the young new leader of the Alliance Party will be able to count on the support of a left-oriented National Committee, of the 155 members of the Committee to be replaced, 94 are related to the APL-Left, with a majority of Social Democrats and Progressives, there are some surprises in this committee, such as the fact that the segregationists of the APL-Right (Far-Right) won 8 seats, they will be able to make their voices heard in this committee normally dominated by moderates, there are at iff the news that the three most radical groups on the left, the Syndicalists, the Communists and the Anarchists, having come together under the banner of the APL-Left (Far-Left) for this election, have won, 18 seats on the committee, the real losers are the Center and the (Moderate) Right, who won 12 seats for the Center and 26 for the Right, this comes from the lack of support because of the leadership of Holmes, after a phase on the right of the political spectrum, it seems that the Alliance Party returns to the sources and returns to the left.

The Luthori Royal Standard
Thousands of pro-monarchist Luthorians have marched through Fort William wearing purple.

Supporters included the current Lord Baron of Ironharbour and fencing star Thomas Edwards and Vice-Chairman of the Imperial Alliance Victor Bartley.

Organisers All Under the Purple Banner estimated 10,000 people attended the rally and said the situation with the removal of her imperial Majesty, unacceptable.

The Rally for Empire spokesperson said: "We support a strong a return of our royal family and a return of the Empire. We are not a republic, and Luthori will never succeemb to the tyranny of republicanism. Down with the traitors!"

"This is an awakening, and we shall restore the Empire. Hail Luthori!" said George Bittersmith, the new leader of the Rally for Empire, which now sports the colour of purple, which was chosen as it's the colour of royalty.

"The disgrace by the traitors in the Imperial Diet these past few years will only strengthen our cause," said Mr. Bittermsith to a crowd of purple flag waving supporters.

The battle for the future of Luthori

On April 5173, the 238 Imperial Diet members voted to abolish the monarchy in a shocking move, even for those in favour.

Shortly after, the allies of the Carston premiership became enemies of the Kennedy presidency. The Humperdinck family returned to politics and established the "Our Future" alliance with the Luthorian Labour party to restore the monarchy. The Rally for the Empire criticised Labour for backtracking and allied with the LCP. This left the CSCU alone in the wind.

Amidst the transition, new elections were held. The election for the president's office was marked by a contest between PM Kennedy, backed by the APL, and the claimant to the throne, Williamson Orange-Villayn. Kennedy triumphed, by 10%.

Experts, however noted that this would not be the end to the republic debate, but rather the beginning.

The battle for Luthori's future has begun.

The Luthori Royal Standard

Orange-Villayn-Armstead's no longer recognised as lawful heir's according to the RFE.

In breaking news, the formerly deposed ruling family of the imperial throne in Luthori are no longer recognised as the current pretenders by George Bittersmith and his royalist supporters.

"It's simple really, after the death of our beloved Charlotte the line is ended. We, hereby recognise a new pretender to the coveted throne."

Also Bittersmith spoke to his small handful of followers saying "From this day henceforth we shall build a Greater Luthori. Hail the Emperor, and hail the flag, so raise it high. The Empire shall prevail!"

The Rally for the Empire under newly crowned leader George Bittersmith has taken a drastic turn to the right after the removal of the monarchy. Some men were even seen wearing military fatigues with tucked in purple dress shirts and military-style caps while they chanted in unison 'Hail Luthori.' Bittersmith denied that these men were paramilitary, and insisted that the RFE has no sponsored paramilitary.
