Fort-William, Luthori: The Foreign Secretary, Lord James Salisbury, after successfully negotiating an agreement with Beiteynu, ending a diplomatic crisis between the two nations, which began in 5215, with the assassination of Baruch Lea Tzarfir, former Prime Minister of Beiteynu and Head of the Terran Remediation Agency (TRA), by a subject of His Majesty, hidden in Malivia, who was arrested by a police raid, in collaboration between Malivia and Beiteynu, a political and diplomatic crisis ensued in Luthori and Beiteynu, Beiteynu having, for a few months, cut off all diplomatic relations with Luthori, in Luthori, too, the situation was not very simple and rosy, motions coming from parties in parliament, aimed at destroying diplomatic relations between Luthori and Beiteynu almost passed the House of Commons, like this motion called : The Motion to Condemn baseless allegations & downgrading diplomatic relations with Beiteynu, created and proposed by Luthorian Labour, it is seen as the only motion, which wanted to end all diplomatic relations with Beiteynu, with the best chance of passing the House of Communes. The Foreign Secretary at the time, Martin Smith, in Kimberly Bush's National Unity Cabinet, did try to negotiate a deal with Beiteynu, but that did not pass the Diet. Finally, it was the Foreign Secretary, James Salisbury, who negotiated, with the help of the leadership of the Luthorian Labor and the Liberal Socialist Party, who succeeded in negotiating a deal with the government of the State of Beiteynu.
After the end of this crisis, the Foreign Minister is now seeking to have Luthori continue his policy of reviving internationalism, during a speech at a university in Fort-William, he said:
Luthori's weakness is that his diplomatic network is not extensive enough, Luthori is isolated on the world and regional diplomatic scene, having locked himself in himself, is isolated against the great powers of the region and the world. Today, there is a lot of work to be done at the level of the Foreign Office, we must definitely get out of our bubble in which we have been for decades and to fully return to the objective in which we have set ourselves, internationalization of Luthori.
The Foreign Secretary Salisbury is known to promote cooperation with the countries of Artania, especially Dorvik, which is considered by many to be the hegemon of the continent and Kundrati, a country which Luthori has become very close to since his last years, a project that is very close to the heart of the Foreign Secretary is the restoration of the Artanian Union and the collaboration of all the countries of Artania in a single economic supernational organization.
The Foreign Secretary is working with the Trade and Industry Secretary, Lilliana Huber, to find countries that can work with Luthori on trade and diplomacy, advances from countries like Likatonia, which several parties accuse of interfering in Luthori's internal affairs , sought to rebuild economic and diplomatic relations. Other countries, have interests to defend in Luthori, like Kundrati, via the ferry between Jidrath and Shipleyriding, Istalia, which could invest in the economy of Luthori. All these countries are in the sights of the Foreign Secretary, to create a real diplomatic network of Luthori.
The Foreign Office is in contact with the chancelleries of all Artania to restart the Artanian Union, the Foreign Office has also announced that Salisbury could make a tour of the continent of Artania during the next months, the Foreign Office is currently contacting the embassies and the governments of the countries involved in this tour, which will serve to develop economic and political relations between the different countries of Artania.
