                    Bombshell document reveals government interference
                    in Rutherford tank contract

                    September 5070

FORT WILLIAM, ORANGE — A document from within the Ministry of Defence has revealed that, contrary to the government's assertions of impartiality in the award of the Challenger 2 tank contract to Lorcaster Motor Company, defence secretary Hereward Diriday intervened in the process to ensure that it would be given to the firm, which is owned by the Conservative-supporting Rutherford family.

Although the prime minister is mentioned as being "hopeful that the right contractor will be chosen" in the letter addressed to the procurement committee responsible for choosing the supplier, it is unclear whether or not he was actually aware of Mr Diriday's actions. Government spokesmen declined to comment on the revelations.

Rally for the Empire

Image

Reporter: The Brown Cross are now major players in Luthori and could possibly form a government next election.

Oswald Black: This is why I have chosen to enter the political stage. The Brown Cross represents turmoil in the Empire, and no doubt if they succeed they will bring chaos, carnage, and death. In that order! The Conservatives have failed. It's simple, they have not done anything to combat the Brown Cross and instead actually support most of their radical proposals. They do this to keep their radical faction from leaving and joining the Brown Cross. Truly despicable cowards.

Reporter: Most polls have your party winning 5 seats next election. Does the electorate really have an appetite for your party?

True, analysts have us at winning very few seats, but remember we are here for the long term and we will not abandon our mission.

Reporter: Any last words Mr. Black?

Luthori is at a crossroads, and my party will stand at the centre. All Hail Luthori and God save the Emperor.

Rally for the Empire

Rally for the Empire supporters at a campaign event

RFE leader Oswald Black said during a campaign event his party was battling hard in Northriding, where the RFE focused most of their energies. Typically a Conservative Party stronghold, however the Tories were seemingly outdone by Black's successful campaign. The RFE recieved 525,024 of the votes with Oswald himself winning a seat in his own district.

'This is merely the beginning of a long road ahead. Today, we won Northriding but tomorrow we shall add Orange, Erneshire, Shipleyriding, and Middenriding!'

Oswald's supporters were all dressed in bright orange colours and were heard chanting 'Luthori!' as he walked away from centre stage.

Although the RFE did better than expected they are not expected to be included in any formal coalitions, and the Country Nationals are predicted by political analysts to continue to govern as the sole party in power.

Victory of the Progressive Party in Snap Elections
Image
Image
People celebrating the Victory of the Progressive Party at the Progressive Headquaters, in Alchester, People brandish Flags with Stars for symbolise the "New Union" promised by the Progressives !
The Progressive Party achieved the impossible, while all the editorialists and political polls predicted that the Party would lose a large part of its seats in the snap elections, the PP succeeded only in silencing the dissenting voices within his own camp but also to silence the ballot box by succeeding not only in winning the election but also in postponing it with its best score in its entire history with 86 seats won and with a popular vote of more than 3,326,689 votes in its favor, with an increase of about 920,000 votes from the last election, Zachary Wilson, the leader of the Progressive Party delivered a speech saying that: 'The Union in our country is in a very fragile position, the forces of the extreme right and also those of the extreme left want to destroy our country with these 3000 years of history, the Brown Cross wanting to put "an authoritarian system with the Brown Cross at its head", which means the end of democracy ie Luthori and the installation of a one-party system and the extreme left represented by the LFMA (Luthorian Federation of Miners Association) also seeks to destroy Luthori by making it a communist paradise, some will say "that's what the progressives were trying to do, so why don't they unite with the LFMA to create a communist paradise" but they are wrong because never, never will the PP collaborate with these far left terrorists, because the PP defends the system of a mixed economy, with government intervention and companies left free, we need a stable coalition and that is what we are trying to conclude with the RfE and the NDM, about which I can tell you about the progress of the negotiations is that they are on the right track and that, I hope, a government will be formed this year at the latest. For the fight against the forces of the extremes, I repeated it during my campaign, there will be no "Soft Line", for those who do not know what that means, the "Soft Line" is a policy developed by MPs Egdar B. Barkley and Edmund Callighan, which is to fight the crisis through reassurances and negotiations, but we don't think that will work, because the extremist forces think that with violence on our streets, we will enforce a "hard line", which will be zero tolerance against extremism and the forced dissolution of the paramilitaries who rot our lives, they have already attacked a party HQ, the next time they will make a coup aimed at overthrowing the democratically elected government, we will not allow ourselves to do, we will fight until victory, the Triumph of Democracy and Freedom! Economically, we will toe the party line on a mixed economy and start the economic recovery after the 30-year Great Depression which hit our country hard and almost destroyed its economy, we will be the government that will sign the economic recovery and the re-birth of Luthori on the international scene! Thank you, God bless you and God bless our beautiful and great country!" these are the words of the leader of the Progressive Party and future Prime Minister of Luthori, Zachary Wilson, the future government led by the PP will lead a tough policy towards the " forces of extremism and poverty" and will have a mixed economy solution, promoting laissez-faire and regulation policies, what to remember, what extremism will be well fought by the PP-led Government !

The Inauguration of Zachary Wilson as Prime Minister of Luthori:

20 years, 20 years that the Progressives have been waiting in the benches of the parliamentary opposition, 20 years that they have been waiting to form their second cabinet with them in charge and with the Progressive victory in the Election of December 5097, 1 years have passed, a year in which the party negotiated with the other parties making up its government coalition, these parties being the RfE and the NDM, its government program for the next 3 years, and to negotiate for the distribution of key positions in the government, after 1 year long and tense negotiations, the result is finally, because as by the newly inaugurated Prime Minister during his victory speech, the negotiations lasted less than a year and the Government was inaugurated at most 1 year after the elections, the new Wilson Administration will have work to do during the next 3 years, Paramilitary terrorism is raging, and several of them are fighting on the outskirts of the cities, the Luthorian Economy is on the verge of bursting after 20 years of Economic Crisis left unchecked by the old administrations and the Imperial Luthorian Army and Navy are pushing the government to make the modernization of equipment and military tactics, for the Luthorian Army remains one of the most powerful on the continent and in the World, as the motto of the Imperial Luthorian Navy says "Luthoria Rules the Waves and the Seas of the World ", the Army must be modernized so that it remains one of the most powerful in the world, the Economy must be restructured so that it becomes once again one of the most competitive in the world and Terrorism inflicts The Paramilitaries to the Luthorian People must stop as soon as possible, so that Luthori becomes once again one of the most stable nations on Terra !

Prime Minister announces Army and Navy reinforcements and modernization ; PM announces that military exercises will take place between June 22 and August 31, 5099 in the bay of Migrants Pass

Today,a surprising announcement came from Sanxringram House, the Prime Minister's Office, in Fort-William, the Prime Minister came to speak to the Press, and announced, a modernization plan to restructure the Army, Navy and Imperial Luthorian Air Force, a fund of 45 billion LPD will be allocated to this plan to modernize the Army, a fund of 55 billion LPD will be allocated to the modernization of the Navy and finally a fund of 20 billion LPD will be allocated to the modernization of the Air Force, which makes a total of 120 billion LPD which will be allocated to the modernization and restructuring of the Armed Forces, this amount will be allocated 55% by the State (approximately 66,000,000,000 LPDs will be released by the State and the Defense budget will be slightly increased (from 1 to 2%), when the journalists asked him about the usefulness of these reforms, he replied: "Uh, Well , the state of the Army is very deplorable and we would like at the same time to modernize and restructure our army so that it is at the height of the other world armies and to be able to create long-term jobs." The Prime Minister also announced the forthcoming establishment of military exercises in the Bay of Migrants Pass , near Beluzia, but in international waters, which are 105 km from the coast of Beluzia, which will pose no threat to the country, the Prime Minister's detractors quickly accused him of "rapidly militarizing the country, for the war", of "planning the Invasion of Beluzia after the refusal of this country to join the Free Nations League", they treated this plan as "a waste of public money" and "extreme militarization of the country", these facts having been reported by newspapers hostile to the government such as Lion News and the Fort-William Herald, but the Prime Minister decided to reassure the country by saying that "the peace between Luthori and Beluzia may be fragile, but Luthori has no interest and to go to war against Beluzia, we have just returned to the international scene and not wanting to start our foreign policy with a war on our hands and to give it to the next Prime Ministers", but he also warned the Beluzian Government saying that "but if, uh, the lives of soldiers participating in this exercise, material belonging to the Luthorian Armed Forces is sunk or destroyed by the Beluzian Government and its armed forces, it could end all diplomatic relations between our two nations."

Luthori is moving on! Will we see a new normal?

The Brown Cross is the black sheep of Luthori. Led by Edward Straughan, the BC has been the lead nationalist, traditionalist and segregationist party in the nation. They have a history with organized violence and political fanaticism. The paramilitary wing was banned a few years ago, yet the violence continued. A series of violent attacks led to confrontations between BC-members and the state. The government declared a state of emergency, released a foreign press statement and went to the courts to try to ban the party.

The courts did not end up banning the Brown Cross. The clashes have stopped, but Luthori has yet to heal. The nation is divided, hurt and in need of political stability. Many voters love the BC for their unrelenting extremism and anti-establishment populism. Many voters also feel unsafe about a party with such a violent history holding office.

We spoke with a young female voter from Middenhall, Middenring.

*I feel scared truly for what might happen in the future. I hate how divided life has become now. I've lost friends who have started to become radicalized and stuff.*

David Spencer in heated exchange with Prime Minister Palmer!

Minister of Foreign Affairs, David Spencer (DR-R) has long been a vocal critic of the political union of UDL, UDM and RP. His work in the party has been mostly centered on foreign affairs issues, building international relations and the economy. Recently he has entered the scene of federal politics. On social media and in national TV he has gone on record saying that we need to view the BC as a violent threat to democracy. This stance of his was once popular in the party but has now been toned down, on initiative by central leaders in the party who occupy the inner circle of PM Palmer. Mr. Spencer is a right-wing liberal and not someone who is content with how the Democratic Reformists (DR) has positioned itself in Luthori politics. This puts him at odds with Palmer, who is a part of the left-wing faction of the DR.

In a leaked video taken by an anonymous person, we can see Mr. Spencer and the prime minister arguing inside a high school hallway where they were both making a visit. The video is 2 minutes long and in the video we can hear Spencer call the PM a "deranged lunatic that is burning this party to the ground". The prime minister retorted with "Well I'm glad someone with your temperament is not leading it".
