Duke Weston Addresses Diet and Starts Extreme Agenda!

The White Rose turned plenty of heads when they began to ally with their former opponents in the AFU and National Movement, but it is an alliance which has lead to 15 years of right-wing dominance in Luthori, and plenty of election wins between the alliance. But recently, the AFU disbanded and the left managed to seize control of the Government with a majority in the unfilled Diet.

The White Rose has often been seen as a supporter of the National Movement rather than a right wing force of its own, Duke Marcus Weston changed that today as he made a scathing statement to the Imperial Diet. He criticised the left wing, spoke out against foreign sanctions as interference and challenged the new Government to an election, one he believes the right will win.

Once more we are at the mercy of the radical left. They cannot win elections, or the arguments, so seize power and refuse to allow for elections whenever a right-wing party dissolve. We have no doubt that our party and our allies in the National Movement would win a majority in an election. I can promise the country now that if the left refuse to allow for that election and instead cling to their seized power, we will go further than we ever have next time we hold a majority.

I want to reassure all Luthorians that we are not abandoning you, we will not let this stand, we will not let foreign powers interfere with your rights and democratic freedoms to choose a national direction. We will, as we have for centuries, protect and defend the rights of our citizens.

The White Rose challenge the left to an election, to a fight for the soul of our nation, we challenge them to defend Luthori from outside influence and power, challenge them to win on merit and policy, and challenge them to stop seizing power when parties collapse because they can never win a majority at the polls.

We will stand up for what is right, for what the majority voted for, and for what Luthori needs and wants.

The resignation of Mr. Hale, while it is a sad moment to lose the man who had so devoutly protected the rights of the Luthorian people, this does not mean the battle is over, actually it is quite the opposite. I will change Luthori to a better place, and will do anything to keep democracy in place in these dark times! The Reds will fight this evil until it is stopped, there will always be someone who steps in to protect the rights of the citizens, even if another one goes down. Today, is a magnificent day for leftist supporting people, the new cabinet of Laura Jennings has passed a law allowing leftist media and demonstrations to be legalized again.

There has been celebrations across the country by left leaning citizens.

Prime Minister Laura Jennings gave a public statement concerning the issue:

Today, we have beaten the fascists of this country and reversed their highly oppressive acts of banning leftist medias and demonstrations! The people are free again, and we will keep it that way for as long as we are in power. The National Movement should be disgusted by their actions against freedom of speech and democracy! We hope the people make the choise of voting for the liberal coalition instead of the fascists to keep this freedom of speech we have achieved. Don't worry, we will keep pushing reforms like this that will give the rights of our citizens back to them!

Imperator James of Hurrington criticizes the new government in an address

Dear citizens,
During these uncertain times with high political instability, my hope was to see a reasonable cabinet take office, able to unite the nation.
However, it looks like the radical left has imposed its agenda and we now have a far-left Prime Minister. Madam Jennings did not even consult me in order to pass her radical policies. This is not my vision of democracy, nor the vision of the millions of you who are watching me right now.
It is the right of Madam Jennings to not consult and it is my right to criticize what her government is doing and propose new solutions.
The new government is clearly anti-white and wants to destroy the Empire.
The desegregation policies are obviously passed way too fast and with no regards to the opposition.
With those policies, the schools, the businesses, have no choice. They have to allow non-whites to enter their schools, their businesses. This is not acceptable. I ask that, at least, the government leaves the choice to the owner.
Also, the far-left Prime Minister wants to allow nudity on television. What are we showing our children? World wide gay prides, live on TV? Pornography?
This is an attack on the Hosian religion and morality launched by this government. Hopefully, the law was rejected. But this is only the beginning of their destructive agenda and we will see if the LCP is still there to stop this or not. The Luthorian Conservative Party already announce it supported the far-left.
This is the state of our country. I will defend the White Race, the Hosian religion and our values with my party, the National Movement and our allies of the White Rose.

Foundation of The United Leftist Front

Today, the General-Secretary of the USRM Robert Careworth and Laura Jennings, leader of the Red Party have announced the merger of their parties into one called The United Leftist Front (ULF)
The Party consists of 2 factions, The Reds, and the Social-Revolutionaries. They will campaign and work as a single entity, but the factions of the party have autonomy over their voting and actions.
We look forward to seeing what the ULF has to offer!

Democratic Party of Luthori and Liberal Alternative form electoral alliance

Brian Gordon, leader of the Democratic Party of Luthori (DPL), and James Belmont, leader of the Liberal Alternative (LA), have on mutual agreement formed the Civic Alliance of Luthori (CAL) on 21 of October 4858. After electoral success of DPL and a not so satisfying result for LA, both parties have agreed to run on a joint list for the upcomming Duchy Elections held in 4860 and probably for the next Parliamentary and Imperial Elections held in 5 years if no early elections took place. This new coalition between DPL and LA seems reasonable since both parties share similar ideology and are recognised as liberal or social liberal.

According to the newely formed CAL Presidency, main princiles of Civic Alliance of Luthor are:
-protection of personal freedom and rule of law
-protection the environment and global warming
-promotion democracy and liberal values
-implementation of progressive social laws
-prevention of any kind of segregation and discrimination
-maintainance the system of welfare state providing the help for the poorest
-against any form of extremism, including both far-left and far-right

Dear citizens, tonight I decided to speak up about some claims from the International Community that our government isn't doing enough of progress for removing from what are the leftovers of past extremists governments. In thoose claims, Istalian officials are the loudest, but we can assure them and the rest that have doubts that as long as Civic Alliance of Luthori is in the position of power we will keep removing thoose regressive bills and keep rooting and voting for moderate, rational, liberal bills. We are doing this because everyone in CAL believe Luthorian citizens deserve better country, which will alow them to freely voice their opinion without being affraid. What CAL is doing, is uniting people of all races and cultures while some extremists are constantly dividing our people based on their nationality and ethnics. We believe this is completely wrong and we can assure everyone that we will keep fight for freedom, for democracy and for the ordinary men and women. However, Democratic Party of Luthori hates giving time limits because unwanted events might occur and because sometimes we can not predict the future. Therefore, we can only promise to the people and to the Terra that Luthori is certainly free, democratic and liberal as long as CAL is in the power. We sincerely hope that our actions has contributed in improving our international reputation and in improving the relationship especially with mighty Istalia. Freedom always prevails.
